Villa Monaciano combines three things that are unusually difficult to find together in Tuscany: substantial on-site accommodation, the scale for a large wedding and genuinely easy access to Siena.

The estate sits at Ponte a Bozzone, around 4 km from Siena, with the historic villa surrounded by gardens, vineyards, olive groves and four countryhouses. The villa sleeps 25, while the countryhouses add another 80 places, giving the current detailed accommodation inventory a total of 105 guests. Outdoor wedding settings can host more than 200 people.

The pricing structure takes a little more explanation than the headline villa rate. The villa costs €18,000 for three nights, with an additional €8,000 wedding fee, but wedding bookings also carry a minimum accommodation commitment. A weekday wedding requires at least the Villa and Poggio. A weekend wedding requires the Villa, Poggio and one additional countryhouse.

That puts the true three-night starting commitment at €45,100 including 10% VAT on a weekday, or €49,720 including VAT on a weekend, before tourist tax and the wedding costs that sit outside the venue package. Renting the villa and all four countryhouses for three nights comes to €58,300 including 10% VAT.

The result is a venue that makes particular sense around 80 to 120 guests. At that size, couples can make real use of the accommodation they are paying for, keep most or all of the wedding together and still have Siena close enough to act as an easy overflow base.

The main limitation is the wet-weather plan. Monaciano has a substantial 350 m² ancient cellar specifically identified as Plan B, but the current 2027 material does not publish its seated banquet capacity. For a wedding approaching the estate's larger outdoor scale, that is the most important number to resolve before booking.

The RoamRecs Take

Monaciano's biggest advantage is not simply that it is a large Tuscan estate. It is that the wedding scale, accommodation and location work together unusually well.

The detailed current inventory sleeps 105 people. Siena is around 4 km away. Outdoor dinners can exceed 200 guests. The estate also has a dedicated cellar for bad-weather dinner and late-night dancing. That is a very different logistical proposition from a beautiful villa that sleeps 20 or 30 people and then requires the rest of the wedding to commute from scattered hotels.

For an 80- to 100-person wedding, Monaciano can function almost like a private destination-wedding resort. Take the full accommodation inventory and nearly everyone can wake up on the property, spend the day around the pools or vineyards, and move between events without a fleet of external shuttles.

At 120 guests, only about 15 people need rooms elsewhere if all 105 published places are taken. Siena is close enough that this remaining group can stay in town without feeling detached from the wedding weekend.

The economics also work best when the accommodation is actually being used. A small wedding still carries a meaningful fixed commitment because Poggio is compulsory on weekdays and another farmhouse is added for weekend weddings. Monaciano is therefore not particularly efficient for a 30- or 40-person event simply because the guest list is small.

Around 80 to 120 guests, the equation changes. The group is large enough to fill much of the estate, but not so large that accommodation and weather logistics begin to dominate the planning.

The location is another major advantage. Plenty of rural wedding estates use Siena as their reference city while sitting 30, 45 or 60 minutes away. Monaciano is genuinely close. That makes Siena useful not just for sightseeing before or after the wedding, but as a practical hotel and transportation hub.

The main compromise is the indoor capacity.

The 350 m² ancient cellar is a real reception room rather than a token fallback, and previous weddings have used it successfully for dinner and dancing. What the current 2027 information does not establish is how many guests it seats comfortably once dinner tables, catering routes, entertainment, bar space and a dance floor are all considered.

That is why our preferred range is roughly 80 to 120 guests. It is not a venue maximum. It is the range where Monaciano's strongest features line up most cleanly: the estate can house most or all of the group, the spaces have room to breathe and the rain plan is easier to solve without making temporary infrastructure central to the wedding.

A 150- or 200-person wedding can still make sense here. It simply becomes a different proposition. At that scale, the covered-weather plan matters almost as much as the outdoor setting.

We would be less enthusiastic about Monaciano for a very small wedding where much of the required accommodation would go unused, or for a couple who wants a fully quantified indoor-first venue with a published banquet capacity at the same scale as its outdoor maximum.

For the right guest count, though, the combination is unusually strong: more than 100 guests able to stay on the estate, large outdoor event settings, a dedicated indoor party space and Siena almost on the doorstep.

How Much Does a Villa Monaciano Wedding Cost in 2027?

The Villa

The 2027 Villa prices are:

  • 3 nights: Villa rental: €18,000. Wedding fee: €8,000. Subtotal before VAT: €26,000. Total with 10% VAT: €28,600
  • 4 nights: Villa rental: €23,000. Wedding fee: €8,000. Subtotal before VAT: €31,000. Total with 10% VAT: €34,100

The €8,000 wedding fee covers the additional electricity and cleaning associated with the event, use of the professional kitchen and exclusive use of the Villa spaces dedicated to the ceremony, aperitif, dinner, party and additional events held at the Villa. Ten percent VAT is added. Tourist tax is separate and payable on site.

The important point is that €28,600 is not the real three-night minimum for a wedding. The accommodation rules add another mandatory layer.

The Required Accommodation Commitment

For a weekday wedding, the minimum booking is:

  • Villa
  • Poggio

For a weekend wedding, the minimum is:

  • Villa
  • Poggio
  • One additional countryhouse

Those requirements materially change the real entry price.

Three-night Weekday Minimum

  • Villa, 3 nights: €18,000
  • Wedding fee: €8,000
  • Poggio, 3 nights: €10,000
  • Poggio facilities fee: €5,000
  • Subtotal: €41,000
  • 10% VAT: €4,100
  • Minimum including VAT: €45,100

Tourist tax is additional.

Three-night Weekend Minimum

Using Bistolfo, the least expensive published additional countryhouse:

  • Villa, 3 nights: €18,000
  • Wedding fee: €8,000
  • Poggio: €10,000
  • Poggio facilities fee: €5,000
  • Bistolfo: €3,200
  • Bistolfo facilities fee: €1,000
  • Subtotal: €45,200
  • 10% VAT: €4,520
  • Minimum including VAT: €49,720

Using Cellolino instead brings the VAT-inclusive total to €49,830. Piturnella brings it to €50,050.

The price difference among those three houses is modest. Room configuration, guest mix and location around the estate are likely to matter more than saving a few hundred euros.

Countryhouse Pricing

  • Poggio: Capacity: 38. 3-night rental: €10,000. Facilities fee: €5,000. 3-night total before VAT: €15,000
  • Piturnella: Capacity: 15. 3-night rental: €3,500. Facilities fee: €1,000. 3-night total before VAT: €4,500
  • Cellolino: Capacity: 14. 3-night rental: €3,300. Facilities fee: €1,000. 3-night total before VAT: €4,300
  • Bistolfo: Capacity: 13. 3-night rental: €3,200. Facilities fee: €1,000. 3-night total before VAT: €4,200
  • All countryhouses: Capacity: 80. 3-night rental: €19,000. Facilities fee: €8,000. 3-night total before VAT: €27,000

For four nights, all four countryhouses together cost €23,000 plus a €9,000 facilities fee, or €32,000 before VAT. Individual four-night rates are not published, so the three-night prices should not simply be extrapolated.

What Does the Countryhouse Facilities Fee Cover?

The facilities fee has a clear practical purpose rather than functioning as an unexplained service charge. It covers:

  • A daily Breakfast Box with fresh local products
  • Internal estate shuttle service during check-in and events
  • Exclusive use of Poggio's spaces for private events such as a welcome dinner or pizza party

Food and drinks for those additional events are separate. The fee covers the estate spaces and services around them.

The Villa separately includes breakfast each morning for guests staying there.

What Does a Full-estate Wedding Cost?

For couples who want all 105 published accommodation places, the arithmetic is straightforward.

Three nights

  • Villa: €18,000
  • Wedding fee: €8,000
  • All countryhouses: €19,000
  • Countryhouse facilities fee: €8,000
  • Subtotal: €53,000
  • 10% VAT: €5,300
  • Total: €58,300
  • Plus tourist tax

Four nights

  • Villa: €23,000
  • Wedding fee: €8,000
  • All countryhouses: €23,000
  • Countryhouse facilities fee: €9,000
  • Subtotal: €63,000
  • 10% VAT: €6,300
  • Total: €69,300
  • Plus tourist tax

The fourth night therefore increases the full-estate venue and accommodation commitment by €11,000 including VAT.

For a group that genuinely wants another day together, that can be relatively efficient. It is less compelling if the additional night creates another full day of hosted food, drinks and activities that was not otherwise part of the plan.

Estimated Total Villa Monaciano Wedding Budget

RoamRecs planning estimate, not a venue or vendor quote.

For 2027, we would use the following working ranges:

  • 80 guests: Assumed accommodation setup: Three-night weekend minimum, using Bistolfo as the third building. Planning range: €125,000-€205,000
  • 120 guests: Assumed accommodation setup: Three-night full-estate rental. Planning range: €155,000-€250,000
  • 150 guests: Assumed accommodation setup: Three-night full estate, with approximately 45 guests off property. Planning range: €170,000-€280,000

The 120-person model is the most representative of how Monaciano works best. It uses the full 105-person accommodation inventory rather than paying for a large destination wedding while leaving estate rooms unused.

What the 120-person Model Contains

  • Villa, all countryhouses, wedding fee and facilities fee, 3 nights, incl. 10% VAT: €58,300
  • Wedding catering, drinks and service: €30,000-€48,000
  • Welcome event and farewell meal, combined: €12,000-€21,600
  • Planning and coordination: €10,000-€18,000
  • Photography and videography: €8,000-€14,000
  • Flowers and design: €8,000-€20,000
  • Furniture, tabletop, lighting and production: €10,000-€25,000
  • Music, entertainment and licensing allowance: €5,000-€12,000
  • External guest transport: €1,500-€5,000
  • Ceremony, beauty and stationery allowance: €4,000-€8,000
  • Contingency: 10% of estimated non-venue costs: €8,850-€17,160
  • Calculated planning total: €155,650-€247,060

The rounded published range is €155,000-€250,000.

The food-and-drink allowance works out to roughly €250-€400 per guest for the wedding day. It is intended to cover aperitivo, dinner, wine, bar service and event staffing rather than simply the food menu.

The model does not count Monaciano's internal estate shuttle again because that service is already part of the countryhouse facilities fee. It also does not separately charge Villa breakfast or the countryhouse Breakfast Boxes.

Excluded from These Estimates

These ranges exclude off-property hotel rooms, guest flights, broad airport-transfer coverage, tourist tax, a marquee or major temporary weather structure, additional late-night hours, civil-marriage fees, attire, rings and honeymoon costs.

Supplier allowances are planning ranges rather than tax-specific quotations, so a blanket VAT percentage has not been added across every supplier category. Actual proposals should be compared on a tax-inclusive basis.

Capacity and Event Spaces

The Outdoor Scale Is Genuinely Large

Monaciano's estate can host aperitif and dinner for more than 200 guests across several outdoor settings. The stone amphitheater is also capable of accommodating more than 200 for a ceremony.

That is the relevant current scale for the property.

  • Stone Amphitheater: Best use: Ceremony.
  • Ballroom: Best use: Indoor ceremony.
  • Lemon House / Limonaia: Best use: Ceremony or smaller covered gathering.
  • Main garden: Best use: Ceremony, drinks or reception.
  • Olive grove / vineyard settings: Best use: Civil or symbolic ceremony.
  • Centenary cedar setting: Best use: Aperitif or dinner.
  • Venus nymphaeum: Best use: Aperitif or dinner.
  • Villa façade: Best use: Dinner, cake or evening reception.
  • Rural courtyard: Best use: Dinner or reception.
  • Ancient cellar: Best use: Wet-weather dinner, dancing and late party.
  • Poggio spaces: Best use: Welcome dinner, pizza party, aperitivo.

How the Wedding Day Can Flow

One of Monaciano's strengths is that different parts of the property can have distinct roles instead of asking one lawn to do everything.

A dry-weather sequence could be:

Ceremony: stone amphitheater or garden

Aperitivo: beneath the large trees, near the Venus nymphaeum or around the Villa

Dinner: in front of the Villa or another approved outdoor setting

Cake: Villa façade or garden

Dancing: ancient cellar

Previous weddings have used that kind of progression successfully, including celebrations that moved from the amphitheater to outdoor aperitivo, dinner and then the cellar for the party.

That variety gives the wedding a sense of movement without requiring guests to leave the estate.

What Is the Rain Plan at Villa Monaciano?

The 350 m² ancient cellar is the principal bad-weather dinner option and also the natural late-night party space. The Ballroom and 90 m² Lemon House provide additional indoor ceremony options.

  • Ceremony: Dry weather: Amphitheater, main garden, olive grove or vineyard. Wet-weather option: Ballroom or Lemon House.
  • Aperitivo: Dry weather: Gardens, nymphaeum and Villa exterior. Wet-weather option: Villa interiors and other approved indoor areas.
  • Dinner: Dry weather: Villa façade, courtyard or another outdoor setting. Wet-weather option: Ancient cellar.
  • Dancing: Dry weather: Ancient cellar. Wet-weather option: Ancient cellar.

The fact that the cellar can host dinner in poor weather is more useful than an estate with no serious indoor option at all. Past weddings have also used the Villa interiors for drinks before moving into the cellar, so a fully indoor sequence is operationally possible.

What remains missing is a current seated plan for larger guest counts.

At around 80 to 100 guests, the cellar is much easier to imagine as a complete dinner-and-party room. Around 120, its layout becomes one of the key design questions. At 150 to 200, the covered-weather solution should be treated as part of the booking decision rather than as an emergency contingency.

That is Monaciano's main logistical tradeoff. The estate has more than 200-person outdoor scale, but its current first-party material does not give couples a corresponding 200-person indoor banquet figure.

Accommodation at Villa Monaciano

Accommodation is one of Monaciano's strongest features.

The Villa: 25 Guests

The main Villa accommodates 25 guests across:

  • 11 double bedrooms
  • 3 single bedrooms
  • A private bathroom for every bedroom

Breakfast is served each morning for Villa guests. During the stay, Villa residents have exclusive use of the Villa and its garden.

The Countryhouses: 80 Guests

  • Poggio: Apartments: 12. Published guests: 38. Walking distance from Villa: Approximately 10 minutes
  • Piturnella: Apartments: 3. Published guests: 15. Walking distance from Villa: Approximately 20 minutes
  • Cellolino: Apartments: 3. Published guests: 14. Walking distance from Villa: Approximately 20 minutes
  • Bistolfo: Apartments: 3. Published guests: 13. Walking distance from Villa: Approximately 15 minutes
  • Total countryhouses: Apartments: 21. Published guests: 80

Poggio also has a private pool and communal space that can work for a barbecue, pizza dinner or aperitivo.

Together with the Villa, the detailed 2027 inventory totals 105 places.

What That Means for the Weekend

If the full accommodation inventory is contracted:

  • 80 guests: the entire wedding can theoretically stay on the estate
  • 100 guests: the entire wedding can theoretically stay on the estate
  • 120 guests: approximately 15 guests need rooms elsewhere
  • 150 guests: approximately 45 need rooms elsewhere
  • 200 guests: approximately 95 need rooms elsewhere

Those numbers are simple accommodation arithmetic rather than a room-block guarantee, but they show why Monaciano works so well at a medium-sized destination wedding.

For a 100-person wedding, very few Tuscany venues at this scale can keep the whole group together without functioning as a conventional hotel.

For 120 guests, the overflow requirement is small enough to keep the group socially cohesive. For 150 or 200, off-property accommodation becomes a more substantial part of the transportation plan.

Where Should Overflow Guests Stay?

Siena is the obvious overflow base.

Because Monaciano is only around 4 km away, couples do not need to choose between a rural estate and having off-property guests in a useful town. Guests staying in Siena have restaurants, bars and sightseeing within walking distance, then a relatively short transfer to the wedding.

Grand Hotel Continental Siena

For guests who want a luxury historic-center stay, Grand Hotel Continental has 51 rooms and suites in central Siena.

It is particularly attractive for parents or guests turning the wedding into a longer city stay. The main logistical consideration is Siena's restricted-traffic environment, which makes pre-arranged loading and shuttle points more important than they would be at a suburban hotel.

Four Points by Sheraton Siena

For a larger room block where vehicle access and parking matter more than being directly inside the historic center, Four Points is the more practical alternative. It offers on-site parking and handles group accommodation more easily.

For a wedding with 30 to 50 people staying off the estate, we would generally prefer one Siena hotel hub over scattering guests among several rural properties. It simplifies airport arrivals, welcome-event attendance and the late-night return.

Catering, Vendors and the Party

Catering

Wedding catering is external.

Monaciano's provides a current list of trusted catering companies, and the professional kitchen is available for the wedding caterer. Kitchen use is part of the €8,000 wedding fee.

Other Wedding Vendors

The practical production requirements still matter here because the property covers several buildings and outdoor areas. Access hours, supplier parking, electricity, temporary structures and breakdown timing should be coordinated through the planner and venue before individual supplier contracts are finalized.

Wedding Planning

Monaciano offers wedding-planning services on request. The fee and scope are not available.

A planner is not mandatory, but Monaciano is the kind of property where an experienced destination wedding planner adds real value. The challenge is not simply decorating a dinner. It is coordinating multiple houses, several event settings, transport, catering, weather and potentially more than 100 resident guests.

Music and the Late-night Party

The standard timing is clear:

Outdoor music: until midnight

Indoor music: until 1:45 a.m.

Additional time: available for an extra fee

The cellar makes that transition relatively straightforward because it is already designed as the indoor party space.

For the wedding-day schedule, it makes more sense to move the party indoors before midnight rather than treat midnight as the moment guests begin relocating.

Ceremony Options

Symbolic Ceremony

Symbolic ceremonies can take place in several parts of the estate, including the Villa, amphitheater, main garden, olive grove and vineyard area.

The stone amphitheater is the most clearly quantified ceremony space, with a stated capacity of more than 200.

Legally Binding Civil Ceremony

Monaciano's current 2027 wedding information states that legally binding civil ceremonies can take place on the estate, with several locations available.

The legal process itself runs through the relevant civil authorities in Siena, including the approved location, registrar availability, documentation and applicable municipal fees.

For couples coming from abroad, paperwork depends on nationality, residence and personal circumstances, so the legal ceremony should be planned alongside the venue booking rather than treated as an automatic inclusion.

Catholic Ceremony

Catholic weddings take place in churches near the estate rather than in a private chapel at Monaciano.

One practical nearby option is Certosa di Pontignano, whose church hosts religious marriage ceremonies. Couples planning a Catholic wedding should handle the religious requirements separately from the reception booking.

Getting to Villa Monaciano

Monaciano is unusually accessible for a countryside estate because it sits effectively on Siena's doorstep.

Estimated Travel Allowances

  • Florence Airport, FLR: Approximately 1 hr 10 min to 1 hr 25 min
  • Pisa Airport, PSA: Approximately 1 hr 45 min to 2 hr
  • Rome Fiumicino, FCO: Approximately 2 hr 45 min to 3 hr
  • Siena railway station: Approximately 10-15 min
  • Siena historic center: Approximately 10-20 min

These are planning allowances rather than live journey guarantees.

For most international guests, Florence is the easiest airport if the flight schedule works. Rome can make sense for long-haul guests who gain a direct flight and are comfortable with the longer onward journey.

Siena is not on Italy's high-speed rail network, so rail travelers should think of Siena station as the end of the public-transport leg and arrange the final transfer from there.

Do Guests Need Rental Cars?

Guests coming primarily for a three- or four-night wedding weekend do not necessarily need one.

The countryhouse facilities fee includes internal estate shuttle service during check-in and events, while the wedding itself can take place entirely on the property. Siena is close enough for scheduled transfers when guests want to go into town.

Guests adding several days in Chianti or exploring the countryside independently will appreciate a rental car. Wedding-only guests can manage comfortably with organized transport.

Best Time of Year for a Villa Monaciano Wedding

Monaciano's 2027 pricing does not change by season, so choosing the month is mostly about weather, daylight and how much of the wedding you want to keep outdoors.

  • April: Average daytime high: 18.1°C. Average monthly rainfall: 71 mm
  • May: Average daytime high: 22.7°C. Average monthly rainfall: 70 mm
  • June: Average daytime high: 27.1°C. Average monthly rainfall: 52 mm
  • July: Average daytime high: 30.5°C. Average monthly rainfall: 29 mm
  • August: Average daytime high: 30.7°C. Average monthly rainfall: 39 mm
  • September: Average daytime high: 25.0°C. Average monthly rainfall: 81 mm
  • October: Average daytime high: 19.8°C. Average monthly rainfall: 106 mm

Late May and June

These are the most balanced months for Monaciano.

The weather is warm enough to use the amphitheater, gardens and outdoor dinner settings comfortably, without the average 30°C-plus heat of July and August. June also has lower historical rainfall than May.

September

September is probably the strongest late-season choice.

Average daytime temperatures around 25°C are comfortable for an outdoor ceremony and dinner. Rainfall rises relative to June, which makes the cellar plan more important, but the temperature profile is attractive for a full outdoor wedding day.

July and August

The historical pattern is drier, but heat becomes the tradeoff.

Later ceremonies, shade, cold water and comfortable indoor retreat space matter more. This is especially relevant at Monaciano because so many of its most appealing settings are outdoors.

October

October can work beautifully for a wedding that genuinely likes the indoor option, but the weather risk changes materially. Average rainfall rises to around 106 mm and daytime highs fall below 20°C.

Because the current 2027 rate sheet does not show an October discount, there is no obvious rental saving to compensate for that additional weather risk.

April

April is viable for a smaller celebration or a couple comfortable with an indoor-first plan.

Unlike several other Tuscan estates, though, Monaciano's published 2027 pricing does not introduce an April low-season rate. The economics therefore stay broadly the same while the importance of the rain plan increases.

Building a Wedding Weekend Around the Stay

Monaciano lends itself naturally to a multi-day format because accommodation and event spaces are part of the same estate.

One sensible three-night schedule could be:

Arrival day: check-in, estate transfers and a relaxed pizza or welcome dinner at Poggio

Wedding day: ceremony and aperitivo around the Villa, outdoor dinner if weather allows, dancing in the cellar

Final day: breakfast, pool time or a slower lunch, with an optional trip into Siena

Departure morning: breakfast and organized departures

Poggio is particularly useful here because private-event use of its common spaces is built into the applicable facilities fee.

The estate and surrounding countryside also give guests enough to do without turning the weekend into a tightly programmed itinerary. With Siena only about 10 minutes away, couples can leave some space for guests to explore independently rather than scheduling an excursion every day.

Similar Wedding Venues to Compare

Villa Cetinale: a Smaller, More Garden-driven Private Estate

Villa Cetinale is the more natural comparison if historic gardens and a highly intimate private-estate experience matter more than scale.

Cetinale caps weddings at 100 guests and accommodates 48 across four estate houses. Monaciano is materially stronger for couples who want most or all of a 100-person wedding sleeping on property, or who need the option to go beyond 100 guests.

The tradeoff is atmosphere versus infrastructure. Cetinale is more intentionally intimate. Monaciano gives you much more lodging and easier access to Siena.

Villa La Selva: a More Bundled Wine-estate Weekend

Villa La Selva is worth comparing if you like the working-estate setting but prefer a wedding package that bundles accommodation and event use more tightly into one headline rental.

La Selva currently accommodates up to 50 guests in its standard wedding setup and requires a three-night exclusive stay.

Monaciano offers much more sleeping capacity and considerably easier city access. La Selva's advantage is a more bundled package structure and a wedding weekend that can feel simpler for a smaller group.

The useful comparison is not which estate looks more Tuscan. It is which operating model fits your guest list: Monaciano's 105-place accommodation inventory and larger outdoor scale, Cetinale's smaller historic-house experience, or La Selva's more compact bundled resort format.

What is a realistic total Villa Monaciano wedding budget?
For 120 guests, three nights and the full estate accommodation inventory, RoamRecs models approximately €155,000-€250,000. This is a RoamRecs planning estimate, not a venue or vendor quote. It includes the venue and accommodation, wedding catering and bar, a welcome event and farewell meal, planning, design, rentals, photography and video, entertainment and local transportation. It excludes major weather infrastructure, off-property hotel rooms, guest flights, tourist tax and personal wedding expenses.
How many wedding guests can Villa Monaciano accommodate?
The current 2027 material states that the stone amphitheater can accommodate more than 200 people and that aperitif and dinner for more than 200 can take place across several outdoor settings. A corresponding indoor seated maximum is not published.
How many guests can stay at Villa Monaciano?
The detailed 2027 inventory totals 105 guests: 25 in the Villa and 80 across Poggio, Piturnella, Cellolino and Bistolfo.
Is there a minimum stay?
Yes. The published wedding rates start at three nights.
What is the rain plan?
The 350 m² ancient cellar is the principal Plan B for dinner and also serves as the late-night party space. The Ballroom and 90 m² Lemon House provide additional indoor ceremony options. The cellar's seated banquet capacity is not currently published, so larger weddings should be evaluated around an actual wet-weather layout rather than the outdoor 200-plus figure.
Can guests stay together on the estate?
Yes. This is one of Monaciano's biggest advantages. A wedding of around 100 can theoretically house the entire guest list on the estate if all current accommodations are contracted.
Does Villa Monaciano provide wedding catering?
Wedding catering is external. The current 2027 material lists trusted catering companies, and the professional kitchen is available to the caterer as part of the wedding setup.
Can you have a legally binding wedding at Villa Monaciano?
Yes. Monaciano's current 2027 wedding information states that legally binding civil weddings can take place on the estate in several settings. The legal booking process, registrar and paperwork are handled through the relevant civil authorities in Siena.
What time does music end?
Outdoor music ends at midnight. Indoor music may continue until 1:45 a.m. Additional time is available for an extra fee, although the current fee is not published.
What airport should guests use?
Florence Airport is generally the most convenient major airport. We would allow roughly 1 hour 10 minutes to 1 hour 25 minutes by road, depending on traffic and the pickup point.
How far is Villa Monaciano from Siena?
The estate is approximately 4 km from Siena, with the venue estimating around 10 minutes by road.
