Why We Built RoamRecs
Recommendations moved to TikTok, Instagram, group chats, creators and saved posts — and then went nowhere. The good ones ended up scattered across screenshots, Google Maps pins, social saves, texts from friends and creator guides, impossible to find again on the day we actually needed them.
RoamRecs started as a way to bring all of it into one place, and to make it obvious what the people you trust actually recommend. It began with travel, because that is where the problem is worst — but the same thing happens with wedding venues, a city you just moved to, a campus you are figuring out, and the restaurant list you meant to keep.
