Yes. The free tier embeds your full collection with a small "Map by RoamRecs" credit linking back to RoamRecs. There are no usage limits and no credit card required. The Pro tier (coming soon) removes the credit and adds white-labeling, custom colors, lead capture, and analytics.
Yes — it's a standard iframe, so it works on every platform that lets you paste HTML or use a custom-code / embed block.
The widget uses lazy-loading by default, so the map only loads when a visitor scrolls to it. It won't block the rest of your page from rendering. We recommend giving the iframe a fixed height (e.g., 600px) so the layout doesn't shift while it loads.
Yes. The embed loads your live collection, so any time you add, remove, or edit a place in RoamRecs, the change shows up on every site embedding that collection automatically.
Yes — visitors can browse, view place details, and save the collection (or individual places) to their own RoamRecs account. It's both a guide for your audience and a discovery surface that brings them into the app.
The default snippet includes an attribution link in your page's HTML (outside the iframe) — that's a real, crawlable outbound link from your page, and it's how widget embeds traditionally pass authority. Pro removes the credit if you don't want any outbound link.
