- How many guests can stay on-site?
- How do you compare venues without contacting every single one?
This guide answers all of those questions.
Whether you're planning an intimate 30-person celebration or a 120-person wedding weekend, here's everything we learned.
How Much Does a Tuscany Wedding Venue Cost?
One of the biggest misconceptions about Tuscany weddings is that every venue costs the same.
They don't.
After comparing over 70 venues, here's what we found.
- Small agriturismos: roughly €5,000–€15,000
- Boutique villas: roughly €10,000–€25,000
- Historic borgos: roughly €15,000–€40,000
- Luxury resorts: roughly €40,000–€80,000+
- Ultra-luxury estates: roughly €80,000–€200,000+
These prices are typically venue buyouts, not your entire wedding budget.
Many venues also require 2–4 night minimum stays, which means accommodations are included in the venue rental.
What's Usually Included?
Every venue packages things differently.
Some include almost everything:
- Breakfast
- Accommodation
- Wedding planning
- Furniture
- Staff
- Cleaning
- Ceremony setup
Others charge separately for:
- Catering
- Alcohol
- Planner
- Tables & chairs
- Florals
- Entertainment
- Marquee tents
- Welcome dinners
- Farewell brunches
Because of this, a venue with a higher upfront cost isn't always more expensive overall.
Always request the full pricing guide before comparing venues.

Questions to Ask Before Booking
Don't just compare prices.
Ask:
- Is the venue exclusive?
- How many guests sleep onsite?
- Are there nearby hotels?
- Is there a rain backup?
- Are there noise restrictions?
- Can we choose our own caterer?
- Is a planner required?
- What additional fees aren't listed?
The answers often matter more than the venue fee itself.
Our Biggest Surprise
One thing we didn't expect while researching venues was how different pricing structures were.
Some venues looked expensive until we realized they included:
- three nights of accommodation,
- breakfast every morning,
- wedding planning,
- furniture,
- and staff.
Others advertised a lower venue fee but added separate charges for nearly everything.
Comparing the total wedding weekend cost instead of the venue rental made the decision much easier.
