Dinner before a show at the Sphere goes best when you're not watching the clock. These are our 22 favorite restaurants near the Sphere in Las Vegas, whether you want a pre-show dinner, lunch before a daytime showing, a quick bite or something to eat after the encore.
Start with the Venetian and Palazzo. The resort connects to the Sphere by a pedestrian bridge, so you can eat and walk over without going outside. It's a huge property, though, and Restaurant Row, the upstairs shopping level and a 10th-floor bistro are three very different walks. Every pick below says exactly where to find it, and the last four are outside the resort for when you want a change of scene.
Short on time? Book Matteo's for Italian, Yardbird with friends, Bouchon for date night or Milos for seafood.

Restaurants Near the Sphere for a Pre-Show Dinner
All six are inside the Venetian and Palazzo, so you can go from dessert to the bridge without stepping outside.

Matteo's Ristorante Italiano
3355 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA
Our first call when someone wants a real dinner without a steakhouse bill. The northern Italian menu is built on handmade pasta, and the handkerchief pasta with almond-basil pesto is the dish to order. Matteo's also runs a pre-theater set menu from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. that includes it, which is about as made-for-the-Sphere as dinner gets. Book ahead on show nights. Where: Venetian, Restaurant Row · $$–$$$

Yardbird
3355 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA
Fried chicken, bourbon and a loud, happy room. Yardbird is where we'd send a group that wants dinner to feel like part of the night out. Get the chicken 'n' watermelon 'n' waffles, add a few sides for the table and pass everything around. It's a full sit-down restaurant, so reserve instead of hoping for a walk-in table before the show. Where: Venetian, Restaurant Row · $$–$$$

Bouchon
3355 Las Vegas Blvd S 10th Floor, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA
Thomas Keller's French bistro is our date-night pick: oysters or escargots, steak frites, a glass of wine and a room that feels miles from the casino. The catch is getting there. It's up on the 10th floor of the Venezia Tower, reached by the tower's elevators, and the Bouchon Bakery counters downstairs are a different thing entirely. Give yourself a few extra minutes the first time. Where: Venetian, Venezia Tower, Level 10 · $$$

estiatorio Milos
3355 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA
Our seafood pick, and the restaurant that's clearly thought hardest about Sphere nights. There's a pre-theater menu from 5 to 7 p.m. and even a cocktail called Wish You Were Sphere. Otherwise it's Greek salad, charred octopus and whole fish from the ice display, priced by weight, so ask for the total before you order. The three-course lunch is the move before a daytime show. Where: Venetian, Restaurant Row · $$$–$$$$

Mott 32
3325 S Las Vegas Blvd #206, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA
When the table is tired of steak, Mott 32 is the glamorous alternative: dim sum, barbecued meats and an applewood-roasted Peking duck that anchors the whole meal. Order a lot and share. If the duck is the reason you're booking, arrange it with the restaurant ahead of time and ask how much notice they need. Leave a generous window, because this isn't a quick dinner. Where: Palazzo · $$$–$$$$

WAKUDA
3325 S Las Vegas Blvd #1790, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA
Sushi, sashimi and one of the best-looking dining rooms in the resort make WAKUDA a strong pre-show date. Stick to the main dining room's à la carte menu and tell your server when you need to leave, and save the omakase for a night when the meal is the event. Eating after the show? Check the last dinner seating, since the lounge stays open later than the kitchen. Where: Palazzo lobby · $$$$

Steakhouses Near the Sphere
Four serious steak dinners, all inside the resort.
Comparing them with the rest of the city? See our Las Vegas steakhouses guide.
CUT by Wolfgang Puck
3325 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA
Pick CUT when the brief is simple: a really good steak. The menu runs from straightforward prime cuts to an expensive tour of Wagyu, and it's easy to let every course turn into an upgrade. Order the steak you actually want and a couple of sides for the table, and you'll get a polished dinner that still leaves time for the show. Where: Palazzo · $$$$

Delmonico Steakhouse
3355 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA
Emeril Lagasse's steakhouse has been on Restaurant Row since the Venetian opened, and it still does the classics with a New Orleans accent: lobster bisque, a filet and banana cream pie to finish. It's an easy yes for a multigenerational group that wants a proper steak dinner with no concept to decode. There's a lunch service too, if your showing is during the day. Where: Venetian, Restaurant Row · $$$$

Bazaar Meat by José Andrés
3325 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA
Bazaar Meat is dinner as its own show: serious beef, jamón, tartares and playful small plates meant to be passed around the table. It moved here from SAHARA in 2025, so make sure your map pin is current. It's a long, rolling meal, which makes it a better fit after an early show or on a night off than in a tight pre-show slot. Where: Palazzo, lower level below the lobby · $$$$

COTE Korean Steakhouse
3355 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA
Korean barbecue meets steakhouse here, with beef cooked on smokeless grills at your table and banchan crowding every open space. First visit? Get the Butcher's Feast, which covers four cuts plus the sides and turns dinner into a group activity. It's our favorite celebration dinner in the resort. For a big party, book through the restaurant's group-dining team. Where: Venetian, Waterfall Atrium · $$$–$$$$
Casual and Family-Friendly Restaurants Near the Sphere
Easier dinners, family meals and good lunches before a daytime showing.

Gjelina
3325 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA
The antidote to a week of steak dinners. Gjelina's California menu puts seasonal vegetables up front, with pizza, pasta and some meat and fish for anyone who wants them. It's a smart pick for a mixed group or a relaxed lunch, and it serves all day, so an early dinner before a 5 p.m. showing is easy. It isn't a vegetarian restaurant, so ask about specific diets. Where: Venetian, Restaurant Row · $$–$$$

Buddy V's Ristorante
3327 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA
Our family pick. Buddy Valastro's menu is Italian-American comfort food all the way: meatballs, lasagna, chicken Parmesan and a dessert list worth saving room for. Kids and grandparents will both find something easy. It's upstairs in the shopping arcade, so allow a little extra time to get back down to the casino level and over to the bridge. Where: Grand Canal Shoppes, Level 2, Palazzo side · $$–$$$

BRERA Osteria
3355 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA
Grab a table in St. Mark's Square, the Venetian's indoor piazza, and the setting becomes part of dinner. The menu covers wood-fired pizza, pasta, risotto and fish. Split a pizza and a pasta, or settle in for a longer meal when you have time. It works for lunch before an afternoon show, too. Ask about the current aperitivo when you book an early table. Where: Grand Canal Shoppes, Level 2, St. Mark's Square · $$–$$$
Quick Bites and Late-Night Food Near the Sphere
For a fast meal before the show or something after the encore.
For every kitchen open after midnight, on and off the Strip, see our Las Vegas late-night food guide; Via Via and Miznon also appear in our affordable Strip restaurants guide.
Miznon
3355 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA
Miznon's pitas are the move when you want to eat well, spend less and keep the night moving. Get the wild-mushroom pita or the folded cheeseburger, and split the whole roasted baby cauliflower. There's plenty for vegetarians, too. It closes at 9 p.m., so think lunch or pre-show, not after. Where: Palazzo casino floor · $
Via Via
3355 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA
The answer for a group that can't agree. Via Via's counters include All'Antico Vinaio sandwiches, Scarr's Pizza, Howlin' Ray's hot chicken and Ivan Ramen, so everyone orders their own thing. Lines build before shows, so don't count on it being instant. After the show, check the counter you want: Scarr's and Turkey and the Wolf serve until 2 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, but the whole hall doesn't. Where: Venetian casino floor, off the Grand Colonnade · $–$$

Nomikai
3355 S Las Vegas Blvd #105, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA
Nomikai is two places in one. The front counter turns out hand rolls and sushi fast, which makes it one of the better quick pre-show meals in the resort. Down a hidden hallway behind it is a moody speakeasy with its own pricier menu and a deep Japanese whisky list. Save that for a night when you aren't watching the clock. Where: Venetian, Restaurant Row · $$ at the counter, more in the back room

Grand Lux Cafe at the Venetian
3355 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA
Grand Lux isn't the most exciting meal on this list, but the Venetian location is open 24 hours, and after a long show that's what counts. The menu runs from burgers and pasta to breakfast, so a tired group can all find something. Head to the Venetian branch, since the Palazzo one keeps shorter hours, and expect a wait when the show lets out. Where: Venetian casino floor, near the Grand Canal escalator · $$

Noodle Asia
3355 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA
A bowl of noodles beats another burger at midnight. Noodle Asia does Szechuan beef noodle soup, wonton soup, fried rice and dim sum, easy to order for one or to share. It's casual and serves late, but ask when the kitchen takes last orders if your show runs long. Where: Venetian casino floor, next to the sportsbook · $$
Restaurants Near the Sphere Outside the Venetian
These four mean leaving the resort, on foot along the street or by car. Plan that leg and your Sphere entrance separately.

Tacos & Beer
3900 Paradise Rd A, Las Vegas, NV 89169, USA
When the group would rather have tacos and a margarita than another casino dining room, this is the spot. Mix a few different tacos, add something for the table and dig into the long craft beer list. It's east of the Strip on Paradise Road, handy if you're staying on that side. It doesn't stay open late, so plan on it before the show. Where: 3900 Paradise Road, Suite A · $$

Firefly Tapas Kitchen & Bar
335 Hughes Center Dr, Las Vegas, NV 89169, USA
Tapas for a group that keeps ordering one more plate. Start with the bacon-wrapped dates, patatas bravas and garlic shrimp and go from there. Pick it for the style of meal rather than the convenience, and leave a real buffer to get to the Sphere afterward. Navigate to the Hughes Center address, since Firefly has another location across town. Where: 335 Hughes Center Drive · $$–$$$

Lawry's The Prime Rib
4043 Howard Hughes Pkwy, Las Vegas, NV 89169, USA
Lawry's is old-school in the best way: prime rib carved tableside from silver carts, the famous spinning salad and a real sense of occasion. It's less than a mile from the Sphere, but you'll be walking along the street, so plan that part. The dress code is business casual (no gym wear, beachwear or cut-offs), and dinner starts at 5 p.m., or 4 p.m. on Sundays. Where: 4043 Howard Hughes Parkway · $$$

SW Steakhouse
3131 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA
SW is the trade-off pick: less convenient, but a serious steak dinner beside Wynn's Lake of Dreams is hard to beat. Ask for a lake-view table when you book; the Sphere isn't part of the view. Dinner starts at 5:30 p.m., which is tight for an early show, and kids under 5 aren't allowed. Choose it when dinner is a big part of the night. Where: Wynn, Lake of Dreams · $$$$
How to Plan Dinner Before a Sphere Show
Book around when you need to leave. For an 8 p.m. show, a 5 or 5:30 p.m. table lets you finish by about 6:45 and still walk over with time to spare. Tell your server the time you need to leave, not just that you have tickets. If your showing is in the afternoon or early evening, lunch or a counter meal usually beats squeezing in a full dinner.
Leave real time to cross the resort. The bridge connects the Venetian to the Sphere, but the property is huge, and upstairs restaurants and tower elevators add minutes. From a restaurant in the complex, budget about 30 minutes to reach your entrance, plus any arrival time your ticket asks for. Check your ticket too, since some admissions use Sands Avenue or the east-side plaza instead of the bridge.
Pick your after-show spot in advance. Grand Lux at the Venetian is open 24 hours, and Noodle Asia and a couple of Via Via counters serve late.
