Las Vegas can keep you out all night without making it obvious where to eat afterward. Sometimes the answer is a slice on the way back to your room. Sometimes it's a proper dinner somewhere you can sit down and stop shouting over the music.
This guide covers both: late-night restaurants, counters and diners across the Strip, downtown, Chinatown and the neighborhoods beyond. Closing times refer to the night service starts, so Friday until 4 a.m. runs into Saturday morning. Where a kitchen has an earlier last seating or order cutoff, we've called it out.

Best Late-Night Food on the Las Vegas Strip
The Strip has more open kitchens after midnight than anywhere else in town, but plenty of resort restaurants wind down earlier than you'd expect. These are the ones worth knowing.

The Henry
Boulevard Tower, 3708 Las Vegas Blvd S Level 1, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA
Our first call when someone wants more than a snack but nobody wants to leave the Strip. Go with the short-rib Benedict if it feels like breakfast, the burger if it doesn't, and tater-tot nachos for the table. Details: Inside The Cosmopolitan. Opens late evening and serves overnight into the following afternoon; it's no longer a 24-hour restaurant.

Grand Lux Café at The Venetian
3355 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA
A full-service restaurant with a huge menu that stays open after most resort dining rooms have closed. It's the practical choice when getting everyone fed matters more than the meal itself. Head for the branch on The Venetian's casino floor near the Grand Canal escalator. Details: Open 24 hours. The Palazzo branch closes at 2 a.m., so don't mix them up.

Tacos El Gordo
3041 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA
Start with the adobada, the spiced pork that'll have you ordering a second round, then add carne asada or suadero. There isn't much room to linger, which is fine when the tacos are the point. Details: Until 2 a.m. Sunday–Thursday and 4 a.m. Friday–Saturday. The 2560 West Sunset Road branch keeps the same hours.

Secret Pizza
Boulevard Tower, 3708 Las Vegas Blvd S Level 3, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA
It isn't much of a secret anymore, but the walk down a hallway lined with record sleeves is still half the fun. At the end is a small counter selling New York-style slices and whole pies. Cheese or pepperoni and you're done. Details: The Cosmopolitan, Level 3. Until at least 2 a.m. nightly, later on weekends.

Peppermill Restaurant & Fireside Lounge
2985 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA
Blue booths, mirrored walls, flamingo lamps and oversized diner plates. Order pancakes, an omelet or the Peppermill Burger depending on which part of the day you think you're in, and save the Fireside Lounge for a nightcap. Details: Open 24 hours Thursday–Sunday. Monday–Wednesday it closes at 2 a.m., with last seating at 1:15 a.m.

Allegro
3131 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA
For nights when you still want a real dinner, not something portable. Baked lasagna or rigatoni and meatballs fit the bill, and there's a full vegan section on the menu rather than a salad with the cheese removed. Details: Inside Wynn. Until midnight Sunday–Thursday and 2 a.m. Friday–Saturday.

Nacho Daddy at Miracle Mile
Miracle Mile Shops, 3663 S Las Vegas Blvd #595, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA
The nachos are the reason to come, with carne asada and Buffalo chicken versions that turn a bar snack into dinner. The dedicated vegan menu makes it an easy pick for mixed groups. Come for a lively meal, not a quiet conversation. Details: Until 2 a.m. Monday–Tuesday and 3 a.m. Wednesday–Sunday.

Best Late-Night Food in Chinatown and Along Spring Mountain
A short ride west of the Strip, Spring Mountain Road is where Las Vegas actually eats late. It's the best part of town for izakayas, ramen and pho after midnight.

Ichiza 1 Original
4355 W Spring Mountain Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89102, USA
The pick when the table would rather keep ordering than commit to one big entrée. Yakitori, sashimi and Japanese comfort food let you build the meal around how hungry everyone actually is. Make sure you're at the original upstairs restaurant, not Ichiza 2 Hanare. Details: Thursday–Tuesday from 5 p.m. until late. Closed Wednesdays.

Hachi
3410 S Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89146, USA
Better for a planned late dinner than a last-minute dash. Build the meal around sashimi and hot izakaya dishes and order for the table. The cutoff that matters is last seating, not closing, so arrive with time to spare, especially with a group. Details: Until 2:30 a.m., with last seating at 1:45 a.m. Reservations by phone.

Izakaya Go
3775 Spring Mountain Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89102, USA
A good middle ground between "just a few bites" and "I skipped dinner." Sushi and sashimi keep it light, and the hot dishes turn it into a real meal. Order a few things and see how you feel. Details: Daily until 2 a.m. Don't treat 2 a.m. as your arrival time.

Raku
5030 Spring Mountain Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89146, USA
The restaurant you book ahead, not the one you remember when everything else has closed. Charcoal-grilled skewers, house-made tofu and sashimi make it worth it even when dinner starts late. Book a table with some breathing room. Details: Until 1 a.m. Monday–Saturday; closed Sunday.

Pho Kim Long
4023 W Spring Mountain Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89102, USA
A welcome break from the fried-food circuit. The Vietnamese and Chinese menu goes well beyond soup, with rice plates and stir-fried noodles for anyone who isn't in a pho mood. This is the Spring Mountain location, not the one at Town Square. Details: Until 2:30 a.m. Monday–Thursday, 4:30 a.m. Friday–Saturday and 3:30 a.m. Sunday. Online ordering ends earlier than the dining room.

Shokku Ramen
3889 Spring Mountain Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89102, USA
The ramen pick for a group that isn't quite done for the night. Anime murals and build-your-own bowls give it more energy than a quiet noodle shop. Pick a heat level you'll actually enjoy; a 3 a.m. dinner doesn't need to be a spice challenge. Details: Open 24 hours.

Shinjuku Ramen
4300 Spring Mountain Rd #108, Las Vegas, NV 89102, USA
Another 24-hour ramen option, with a menu that goes past the standard bowl. The creamy tom yum ramen is the one to try when you want something different, and there are vegan options for mixed groups. Details: Open 24 hours.

Hwaro 2
3650 S Decatur Blvd #24-25, Las Vegas, NV 89103, USA
For the group that wants a second dinner, not a snack. All-you-can-eat Korean barbecue gives everyone something to do and makes the meal part of the night rather than the cleanup. Tabletop grilling takes time, so don't show up just before close. Details: Until 3 a.m. Monday–Saturday and 2 a.m. Sunday.

Jipata
3460 S Arville St #7, Las Vegas, NV 89102, USA
One of the more distinctive picks here. Pastrami basil fried rice and smoked-brisket panang curry sit next to classics like larb moo, and the wine list gives you a reason to slow down. Better for a small party than an unannounced crowd. Details: Until 2 a.m.
Best Late-Night Food in Downtown Las Vegas
Downtown covers the basics well: pizza, a deli that never closes and a hot dog when that's all anyone can manage.

Evel Pie
508 Fremont St, Las Vegas, NV 89101, USA
Our downtown slice pick because it suits the street and the hour. The Evel Knievel memorabilia gives you something to look at while you decide, but the appeal is simple: good pizza without another restaurant production. Grab slices or a whole pie for the group, and there are vegan pies too. Details: Until 2 a.m. Sunday–Thursday and 4 a.m. Friday–Saturday.

Saginaw's Delicatessen
8 Fremont St, Las Vegas, NV 89101, USA
When a hot dog won't cut it, this is the downtown move. Start with a Reuben, and add matzo ball soup or latkes if the table wants more than sandwiches. You can sit down and eat properly without watching the clock. Details: Inside Circa. Open 24 hours. Circa is 21+, restaurants included.

American Coney Island
next to D Bar, 301 Fremont St, Las Vegas, NV 89101, USA
A hot dog stand, not a destination dinner, and that's exactly why it's here. Get the chili dog with mustard and onions and keep moving. Details: Inside The D. Open 24 hours.
Best Late-Night Food Off the Strip
These are spread across town, from Sahara to South Point, so pick the one that suits where you already are. A couple, like the Oyster Bar, are worth the ride on their own.

Oyster Bar at Palace Station
2411 W Sahara Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89102, USA
One of the best reasons to leave the Strip for a late meal. The pan roasts, gumbo and cioppino are the draw. It's first come, first served and the wait can be long, though it usually eases off in the small hours. Go when you're happy to let dinner take as long as it takes. Details: Open 24 hours.

Herbs & Rye
3713 W Sahara Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89102, USA
For when you want the night to end with a steakhouse dinner rather than a paper plate. Steaks and classic cocktails make it a strong pick for a late date or a small group, and a nice change from the resort dining rooms. Book ahead rather than assuming a table will appear because it's late. Details: 5 p.m.–3 a.m. Monday–Saturday. Call ahead on Sundays.

Starboard Tack
2601 Atlantic St, Las Vegas, NV 89121, USA
The kitchen runs around the clock, not just the bar, and the food is better than the usual late-night fries. Start with the house-made lumpia, which also comes in a vegan version. It's on the Eastside, so come here on purpose rather than expecting it to be around the corner. Details: Kitchen open 24/7.

Village Pub & Café at Ellis Island
4178 Koval Ln, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA
Comfort food just off the Strip, for when the group is tired of deciding. The patty melt and prime-rib French dip are easy calls, and breakfast is on the menu too. Don't count on an old steak-special tip: promotions here can come with player-card requirements. Details: Inside Ellis Island. Open 24 hours.

Blueberry Hill Family Restaurant
1505 E Flamingo Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89119, USA
When the night needs a soft landing. Pancakes, eggs and coffee in a booth are about as uncomplicated as it gets. Check the address before you go, since only these two of the chain's Las Vegas branches stay open overnight. Details: Open 24 hours at 1505 East Flamingo Road and 1280 South Decatur Boulevard. Other branches close in the evening.

P.O.P.'s Pride of Philly Steaks
501 S Decatur Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89107, USA
Go because you want a cheesesteak. The pepper-and-mushroom version is a good place to start, and the wider sandwich menu gives a group room to mix it up. It isn't worth crossing the valley for, but it's a very handy address to know. Details: Open 24 hours.

Casa Di Amore
2850 E Tropicana Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89121, USA
The off-Strip pick for pizza, pasta and old-school Italian-American dishes long after most kitchens have closed. A nice break from the noodles and diners that dominate the very-late list. Give yourself time rather than arriving just before the doors close. Details: Until 4 a.m. Thursday–Monday; closed Tuesday and Wednesday.

Coronado Café
9777 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89183, USA
One of the best budget picks in town, with a graveyard menu of cheap specials and a steak-and-eggs plate for around $7. It makes sense if you're staying at South Point or already nearby, since a round-trip ride from the central Strip will eat the savings. The Chinese kitchen closes at midnight. Details: Inside South Point. Open 24 hours, except Thanksgiving and Christmas, when it's open 11 a.m.–10 p.m.
Where to Eat After 4 A.M. in Las Vegas
Past 4 a.m., stick to the places that never close: Grand Lux at The Venetian or The Henry on the central Strip, Saginaw's or American Coney Island downtown, Shokku or Shinjuku in Chinatown, the Oyster Bar at Palace Station, and Starboard Tack or Blueberry Hill on the east side.
- Decide whether you want dinner or just food. Raku, Herbs & Rye, Hachi and Jipata are planned late dinners. A slice, a chili dog or a cheesesteak is a very different commitment, so don't drag a tired group into a long meal.
- Leave time to order. Arriving five minutes before close is a poor plan anywhere you sit down, especially at Korean barbecue or places with a last-seating rule.
- Save the exact branch. Grand Lux, Blueberry Hill, Pho Kim Long and Ichiza all show why the brand name isn't enough. The location in this guide is the one with the late hours.
