A great Las Vegas date night doesn't need a tasting menu, a fountain-view surcharge or a reservation made before you booked the flight. Sometimes the right answer is a steakhouse booth. Sometimes it's an Arts District wine bar where one glass turns into dinner.
These 32 restaurants and bars cover different kinds of evenings: dress-up dinners, cocktail bars where you can actually talk, supper clubs where the show is part of the date, and neighborhood favorites off the Strip. Pick the kind of night first. A supper club and a quiet wine bar can both be romantic, but they aren't interchangeable.

Best Date Night Restaurants and Bars on the Las Vegas Strip
The Strip picks run south to north, from Park MGM to the Peppermill, so it's easy to pair neighbors without a cab.
Two pairings we like: a sunset drink at Hard Shake, then dinner in a Bavette's booth at Park MGM, where the view-driven cocktail gives way to a room built for lingering. Or dinner by Mizumi's waterfall, then a nightcap on Aft Cocktail Deck: a change of scenery without leaving Wynn. Plan that one Tuesday through Saturday, when Mizumi serves dinner.
For a steak-first night, our Las Vegas steakhouses guide goes deeper on Bavette's, SW and the rest; for a secret door before dinner, see our Las Vegas speakeasies guide.
Bavette's Steakhouse & Bar
3770 S Las Vegas Blvd Park Mgm, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA
Red leather banquettes, chandeliers and a French-leaning steakhouse menu make Bavette's the dress-up dinner that still feels intimate. Order a martini, a steak, a couple of shared sides and something from the seafood list, then settle in: the room is built for lingering. Book ahead and ask for a booth.

Hard Shake
3752 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89158, USA
The 23rd-floor lounge that replaced SkyBar has floor-to-ceiling windows looking down the Strip, which makes it the best pre-dinner drink in this guide. It's an indoor lounge, not a rooftop. Go around sunset to watch the Strip light up, and reserve if a window seat matters.

The Chandelier
3708 Las Vegas Blvd S Levels 1, 1.5 and 2; Boulevard Tower, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA
Three stories of crystal wrapped around a bar is about as Vegas as a cocktail gets, and nobody pretends it's a secret. Head to Level 1.5 (5 p.m. to 2 a.m.) for the most cocktail-focused menu. Every level has spirit-free cocktails, so it works when only one of you is drinking. Expect a social room, not a quiet corner.

The Vault
3600 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA
Behind an unmarked gold door near the casino cage, The Vault seats about 50 and pours rare and vintage spirits alongside signature cocktails that start around $35. Make it the main event, not a stop on the way to dinner. Book through the link on The Vault's Instagram and dress up.

The Mayfair Supper Club
3600 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA
Mayfair is dinner and a show in one booking: a glamorous room overlooking the Bellagio fountains, live performers working the floor and a classic supper-club menu. Choose it when romance means a shared spectacle rather than the quietest table in town. Book it as a full dinner, not a dessert stop.

Eiffel Tower Restaurant
3655 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA
This is the unapologetic occasion dinner: French cooking high above the Strip with the Bellagio fountains below. Order the classics, like beef Wellington or a seafood platter. A standard booking doesn't promise a window, so for an anniversary add the Guaranteed Window Table when you reserve; it's a prepaid $40 per person, food not included, with the table held for an hour and 45 minutes.

Mon Ami Gabi
3655 S Las Vegas Blvd South, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA
Steak frites, a bottle of French wine and a patio facing the Bellagio fountains: Mon Ami Gabi is romance without the ceremony. Patio tables can't be reserved and go first come, first served, so arrive early and put your name in. Reservations cover the indoor dining room only.

Rosina Cocktail Lounge
3325 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA
For a first date on the Strip, start here. Rosina is a small Art Deco jewel box off the Palazzo casino floor, with plush booths, classic cocktails done properly and a Champagne call button at the table. The drink can be the whole plan or the warm-up for dinner.

Mizumi
3131 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA
Wood, stone, a koi pond and a waterfall replace the neon here. Sushi and sashimi sit beside cooked Japanese dishes, so it suits couples with different appetites. Ask for garden-facing seats, or the outdoor Sansui tables by the water (minimum spend applies), when you book. The Teppan Room is a separate, more social grill experience. Dinner runs Tuesday through Saturday.

Delilah
3131 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA
Delilah is for the night when getting ready is half the fun: a gilded supper club with live entertainment, steaks, seafood and serious cocktails. It's a celebration pick more than a first-date one, since the room has its own momentum. Book well ahead, follow the dress code and keep your phone in your pocket, because photos aren't allowed. Little Bubble Bar at the entrance is a good backup for a drink when dinner is booked out.

Aft Cocktail Deck
3121 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA
Aft is a yacht-styled outdoor deck on Wynn's Lake of Dreams, with swivel chairs and the lake's light shows after dark. Something is always happening in front of you, which makes it a fun nightcap and a less obvious choice for a serious talk. Pair it with dinner at Mizumi or Delilah and stay inside one resort.

Peppermill Fireside Lounge
2985 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA
Neon, a sunken fire pit and circular booths prove a date spot doesn't need to be sleek to be memorable. Come for the room and a playful drink, not a cocktail seminar, and make sure you're on the lounge side rather than the diner. Daily happy hour runs 3 to 6 p.m. if you'd rather keep it to a drink and a shared appetizer.

Best Date Night Spots in Downtown Las Vegas and the Arts District
Most of these sit within a few blocks of each other along Main Street and First Street, so dinner and a second stop rarely need a car. The two Fremont picks are about a mile north.
The easiest pairing in this guide: a glass at Garagiste, then a short walk to your dinner reservation at Esther's Kitchen. Book dinner first and work backward.

Esther's Kitchen
1131 S Main St, Las Vegas, NV 89104, USA
Esther's is the answer when you want an excellent dinner without anniversary formality. Start with the sourdough, split a couple of pastas and let the seasonal Italian menu decide the rest. The room is big and lively rather than hushed, and it books up, so reserve.

Main St. Provisions
1214 S Main St, Las Vegas, NV 89104, USA
When you want somewhere nice that isn't a whole production, this mid-century room fits: steaks, seafood and seasonal vegetables with enough substance for a celebration. Velveteen Rabbit is a few doors down for the second act. Open Wednesday through Sunday.

Velveteen Rabbit
1218 S Main St, Las Vegas, NV 89104, USA
Vintage furniture, bottle chandeliers, a seasonal cocktail menu and a pink patio give Velveteen Rabbit more personality than any hotel lounge. Live music and events can change the mood, so check the night's calendar if you want to talk. It's the natural after-dinner stop from Main St. Provisions or Esther's.

Ada's
1130 S Casino Center Blvd STE 110, Las Vegas, NV 89104, USA
Ada's now lives in the original Esther's Kitchen space, and it works as a wine bar or a restaurant, which is exactly why it suits dates. Keep it to a glass and the whipped brie, or let shared plates turn into seafood and pasta. The wine list mixes classics with smaller producers worth asking about.

Garagiste Wine Room & Merchant
197 E California Ave #140, Las Vegas, NV 89104, USA
Half wine bar, half bottle shop, Garagiste keeps the focus on the person across from you. Tell the staff what you usually drink, try something less obvious and see where the conversation goes. It's a first date in its own right or a glass before Esther's, but plan dinner elsewhere.

Doberman Drawing Room
1025 S 1st St, Las Vegas, NV 89101, USA
Dark wood, curious objects and an atrium garden make Doberman feel like a private 19th-century drawing room, and the cocktails reward attention. It has members, but the public is welcome: reservations are available daily and walk-ins are taken as space allows. Book for a weekend.

Nocturno
1017 S 1st St #180, Las Vegas, NV 89101, USA
Nocturno is a low-lit room with a wall of records and bartenders happy to build a drink around what you like. Take the bar for a more interactive night or a booth to keep it about the two of you. There's enough food to stay for a second round. Closed Mondays.

The Laundry Room
525 Fremont St, Las Vegas, NV 89101, USA
Tucked inside Commonwealth on Fremont East, this 22-seat speakeasy occupies the old El Cortez laundry room and feels miles from the street outside. You need a reservation; bookings max out at four people and stays run 90 minutes, which suits a date. Lock in the bar first, then build dinner around your slot.

Hugo's Cellar
202 Fremont Street Experience, Las Vegas, NV 89101, USA
One level below the casino floor, Hugo's is old-school service at its most romantic: brick walls, booths, a rose at the door and the signature tableside salad. Come for traditional hospitality and flambéed desserts, not the newest trend. It's downtown's best answer for a substantial celebration dinner.
Best Date Night Restaurants Off the Las Vegas Strip
These 11 need a car or a rideshare, and they're the reasons to make the trip. Chinatown, West Sahara and Paradise Road are a short ride from the center Strip and carry some of the city's most ambitious cooking. The west valley and Henderson picks are closer to 20 to 30 minutes away, so treat the drive as part of the evening.
Several of these run strong early-evening deals, which we track in our Las Vegas happy hours guide.
Sparrow + Wolf
4480 Spring Mountain Rd #100, Las Vegas, NV 89102, USA
This is the date for couples who spend half of dinner talking about what's on the plate. Chef Brian Howard's live-fire kitchen pulls from global influences, and the menu changes often enough that it never feels like a steakhouse rerun. The room is engaged and social, so arrive hungry and let dinner be the evening.

Partage
3839 Spring Mountain Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89102, USA
Partage is the anniversary tasting menu without a resort: French cooking in 7- or 9-course formats, with a theme that changes monthly. Pick your length, flag dietary restrictions before you arrive and leave the clock out of it. It's better for two people who already know they love a long meal than for an uncertain first date.

Kabuto Edomae Sushi
5040 W Spring Mountain Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89146, USA
Kabuto is a small Edomae counter where the fish, the rice and the pace of the meal are the point, not a long list of rolls. Sitting side by side at the counter gives the date a different rhythm, with the chef's work as the natural focus. Book well ahead and mention dietary limits when you reserve, since the menu isn't built to be redesigned on the spot.

Herbs & Rye
3713 W Sahara Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89102, USA
Red walls, tufted booths and a cocktail list organized by historical era make Herbs & Rye one of the city's great cocktail bars, and it serves a proper steak dinner too. A set of steaks carries a second, lower price on the menu, so ask when it applies and you've got one of the best-value dates in town. It's busy and closed Sundays, so book ahead.

Golden Steer
308 W Sahara Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89102, USA
Open since 1958, Golden Steer is the classic Vegas steakhouse: red booths, a tableside Caesar and Rat Pack history in the walls. Reservations open six months out and prime nights fill about four months ahead, so book early and ask for a booth. Come for the full old-school ritual, not a bargain steak.

Braseria by EDO
3900 Paradise Rd Ste Z, Las Vegas, NV 89169, USA
The newest restaurant in this guide opened in February 2026 from the team behind Anima. French brasserie cooking meets Spanish influences under 24-foot ceilings, with a tableside Champagne cart and Las Vegas' first Chartreuse on draft. It's a food-first date, not a view or a show. Closed Sundays.

Anima by EDO
9205 W Russell Rd #185, Las Vegas, NV 89148, USA
Italian and Spanish cooking, handmade pasta and a deep wine list give Anima neighborhood warmth with real ambition. A pasta-led dinner makes an ordinary weeknight feel special, and on Mondays two pastas and a bottle of wine run $65 before tax and tip. Save the tasting menu for an occasion.

La Strega
3555 S Town Center Dr Ste 105, Las Vegas, NV 89135, USA
Chef Gina Marinelli's coastal Italian restaurant is the polished dinner close to home: seasonal pasta, pizza and cocktails under a mural of the witches of Benevento. Share a few plates and resist overplanning. The point is settling in.

Other Mama
3655 S Durango Dr #6, Las Vegas, NV 89147, USA
Seafood, oysters and Japanese-leaning plates to share make Other Mama the food-first date without a formal dining room. Order by appetite and let the evolving menu steer you. It isn't on OpenTable, so book directly, and it's closed Mondays.

Marché Bacchus
2620 Regatta Dr, Las Vegas, NV 89128, USA
French bistro cooking, a wine shop with hundreds of labels and a terrace on Lake Jacqueline change the scenery completely. Pick a bottle off the shelf, book a table as the sun goes down and ask for the terrace when you reserve. It's a destination dinner, so plan the drive.

Hank's Fine Steaks & Martinis
2300 Paseo Verde Pkwy, Henderson, NV 89052, USA
Hank's delivers the big steakhouse night without the Strip: steaks, seafood, martinis and live music at the piano bar. Book a full dinner, or keep it to the bar during daily happy hour (3:30 to 7 p.m.), when martinis are half price. If you want to talk, ask for a table away from the music.
