The hard part of planning a group dinner in Las Vegas isn't finding a restaurant with enough chairs. It's finding one that suits the people sitting in them. A birthday dinner before a night out needs something different from a family reunion, and neither should feel like a corporate banquet.
These 26 restaurants cover family-style Italian, dumpling feasts, lively birthday spots, off-Strip favorites and private rooms that turn dinner into the main event. Some work best for eight or ten friends. Others can host the big dinner of a wedding weekend.
One decision makes everything easier: before you ask anyone about availability, figure out whether you need one table, a few tables together or a private room.

Large-Group Restaurants on the North and Mid-Strip (Fontainebleau to Caesars)
The busiest stretch for group dining, from Fontainebleau and Resorts World down through The Venetian, The Palazzo and Caesars, with everything from family-style Italian to private steakhouse rooms.

Mother Wolf
2777 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA
Evan Funke's Roman pasta, wood-fired pizzas and antipasti in a grand dining room make this the dressed-up pick for an anniversary, a big birthday or a generous wedding-weekend dinner. Group plan: Ask for a private-event proposal with the room name and seating plan, and confirm whether the group sits at one long table or several.

Carversteak
3000 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA
A big steak dinner in a contemporary setting, where the Knife Shop and Whiskey Room give private dinners more character than a standard event room. Book it for a milestone birthday or a client dinner with a healthy budget. Group plan: Request a room-specific proposal from the events team. On Fridays and Saturdays it's 18+ after 7 p.m., and younger guests must be seated by 6:45 p.m.

Maggiano's Little Italy
3200 Las Vegas Blvd S Ste 2144, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA
When the group needs a menu your grandparents and your vegetarian friend can both get behind, Maggiano's Italian-American menu and dedicated banquet team make planning easy. Group plan: Work with the Fashion Show location's banquet specialist and ask for the room layout, menu and full event total in one go.

Bouchon
3355 Las Vegas Blvd S 10th Floor, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA
Thomas Keller's French bistro is the answer to "somewhere special, but not a scene," with oysters and steak frites in a room that leaves space for conversation. Group plan: The Point room seats 12 and the Bocuse room 48; the patio (60) and courtyard (80) take separately arranged events. It's on the 10th floor of The Venetian's South Tower (long known as the Venezia Tower), so put that in the invitation.

Estiatorio Milos
3355 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA
For a group that would rather share excellent seafood than compare steaks. Agree on a menu and budget first, because premium fish ordered freely adds up fast. Group plan: The fully private Santorini Room seats 20, and the semi-private Dining Lounge seats 54.

Mott 32
3325 S Las Vegas Blvd #206, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA
Dim sum, roasted meats and Peking duck give a birthday or client dinner the sense of occasion of a luxury steakhouse, with a completely different meal. Group plan: Choose from two 12-seat rooms, the 15-seat Terrace Room and the 48-seat Boom Boom Room, in a mix of private and semi-private setups, so confirm which kind you're booking.

Bazaar Meat by José Andrés
3325 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA
Shared tapas, inventive presentations and serious cuts of meat make this a communal feast for a group that's excited about the experience and on the same page about spending. Group plan: Book its private dining rooms through the Bazaar Meat event inquiry. It has moved from SAHARA to The Palazzo, so check that maps point to the right hotel.

Buddy V's Ristorante
3327 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA
Meatballs, lasagna, Sunday gravy and a serious dessert lineup make this an easy celebratory dinner for families staying at The Venetian or Palazzo, with no formality required. Group plan: Book a regular table, or use the event-request form and ask which private or semi-private setup suits your headcount.

Carmine's
Forum Shops At Caesars, 3500 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA
Our best all-around starting point for a big mixed-age group. Southern Italian platters arrive family-style, so everyone passes food around instead of juggling a dozen separate orders. Group plan: Piccolo seats 30, Terrazza 56, Rotondo 84 and Ritrivo 260. Go straight to the events team for anything event-sized; private rooms may carry a food-and-beverage minimum.

Joe's Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab
3500 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA
A classic celebration in the best sense, with seafood and steak giving everyone a way into the menu. It's near the top of our list for a work dinner where predictability is a virtue. Group plan: Rooms run from the 14-seat Boardroom through Grace's South (30) and Grace's North (60) up to the Gigi Room (104) and Grace's Room (110).

Large-Group Restaurants on the Center and South Strip (Paris to Mandalay Bay)
These lean livelier, with dumplings, a pre-night-out scene and useful French and Mexican group rooms between Paris Las Vegas and Mandalay Bay.

Mon Ami Gabi
3655 S Las Vegas Blvd South, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA
Steak frites, wine and a bistro setting that feels unmistakably like a Vegas trip, right in the middle of the Strip but without a party-restaurant atmosphere. Group plan: There are separate booking routes for 12–19 guests and for 20 or more. The private room seats 30, or 80 combined with Café Halle. Write the room into the booking if views matter.

Beauty & Essex
The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, 3708 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA
You walk in through a pawnshop-style storefront, then order for the table: grilled-cheese dumplings and tuna poke wonton tacos. It's a strong opener for a birthday or bachelorette night out. Group plan: À la carte parties go up to 12; 13 or more book through special events. The 26-seat Jewelry Box has open viewing windows, so it's lively rather than quiet.

Superfrico
Chelsea Tower, 3708 S Las Vegas Blvd Level 2, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA
Italian-American food with art-filled rooms, an all-vinyl DJ and roaming performers, for friends who'd be let down by a perfectly normal dinner. Group plan: Spiegelworld books large parties directly and can seat up to 200. The Party, a separately ticketed dinner show for 50 guests in the Blue Room, is its own booking. The restaurant recommends guests be 18 or older.

Din Tai Fung
3730 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89158, USA
A table covered in soup dumplings, noodles and fried rice is a welcome break from steak dinners, polished without being precious and easy for families. Group plan: Parties of 14 or more book through ARIA's group-dining team. The semi-private room seats 20, and the main dining room can arrange groups of up to 60.

Best Friend
3770 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA
Roy Choi's Korean-LA cooking, a bodega-style entrance and resident DJs make this the pick when the birthday person wants a fun restaurant, not just an expensive one. Group plan: Call Park MGM reservations or group dining with your headcount and ask about a large table versus private dining. Save quiet speeches for somewhere else.

Border Grill
Mandalay Bay, 3950 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89119, USA
Tamales, enchiladas and ceviche give a big dinner a relaxed feel, and its rooms make it a strong pick for wedding groups at the south end of the Strip. Group plan: Groups of 14 or more go through group dining. The Ciudad Room seats 30, the South Room 40 and the North Room 65.
Off-Strip Las Vegas Restaurants for Large Groups
A short rideshare away, these trade resort crowds for some of the city's best food and plenty of private and event space.

Hofbräuhaus Las Vegas
4510 Paradise Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89169, USA
Giant pretzels, schnitzel and long beer-hall tables for a crowd that wants dinner to feel like a party. Skip it for a delicate client dinner. Group plan: Regular reservations cover parties up to 25, and group sales handles anything larger. Each table gets one check, with up to three payment methods.

Firefly on Flamingo
335 Hughes Center Dr, Las Vegas, NV 89169, USA
Tapas make a big dinner sociable from the first plate, with stuffed dates, croquetas and paella for an upbeat group meal that never feels formal. Group plan: The Hughes Center Drive location hosts events from 10 to 400 across the whole restaurant, so ask which space fits your number.

Cleaver
3900 Paradise Rd Ste D, Las Vegas, NV 89169, USA
Steaks, seafood, housemade pasta and a strong cocktail program, for a celebratory steak dinner that doesn't happen inside a casino. Group plan: Ask about the private rooms and request a menu built for your party, and check whether any dining promotion applies before budgeting around it.

Ferraro's Ristorante
4480 Paradise Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89169, USA
Made for a group too big for a normal reservation but too small to take over a restaurant, with Italian cooking that keeps the night feeling like dinner rather than catering. Group plan: Radda seats 10, Greve 20, the semi-private Castellini 32 and the fully private Firenze 70. Event menus start at $105 per person, plus drinks, tax and 20% gratuity.

Lotus of Siam, Flamingo
620 E Flamingo Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89119, USA
A Thai feast for a group that likes to share, built around Northern Thai dishes, crispy duck and garlic prawns, with milder plates for the less adventurous. Group plan: Send a large-party inquiry for the Flamingo Road location, since Lotus has more than one branch, and talk through spice levels and dietary needs.

Partage
3839 Spring Mountain Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89102, USA
A French tasting-menu restaurant for an intimate milestone where dinner is the whole evening, not a quick bite before a show. Group plan: The private room seats 12, with a minimum of $200 per person or $1,700; the Grand Cru room seats 24, with a minimum of $220 per person or $3,000. A tasting menu and deposit are required, and it's closed Sundays and Mondays.

The Bootlegger Italian Bistro
7700 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas, NV 89123, USA
Old-school Italian with dedicated event spaces that give reunions and wedding dinners a proper home, south of the main resort corridor. Group plan: The Vegas Room handles up to 45 guests and The Copa events of 45–180. Ask for the seated layout and line up transportation early.
Downtown Las Vegas and Arts District Restaurants for Groups
For classic Vegas atmosphere or a food-first dinner, Downtown and the neighboring Arts District are worth the ride.

Esther's Kitchen
1131 S Main St, Las Vegas, NV 89104, USA
The move when the evening should be about the food: sourdough, seasonal pastas and wood-fired pizzas, without anyone committing to a tasting menu. Group plan: The events team works with groups from 10 to 100 or more in several setups, so describe the evening you want. It now operates from a larger space on Main Street.

Oscar's Steakhouse
1 S Main St, Las Vegas, NV 89101, USA
The glass-domed dining room looking out on Fremont Street makes dinner feel like Las Vegas itself, with a familiar steakhouse menu to match. Group plan: Parties of 12 or more contact the restaurant directly. The Wine Room seats 10, Simpatico 85 and the main dining room 150; ask for the main room by name if the dome is the draw.

Barry's Downtown Prime
8 Fremont St, Las Vegas, NV 89101, USA
Old-school steakhouse glamour with an unusually useful spread of smaller private rooms, for an anniversary, a client gathering or a birthday. Group plan: The Chef's Table seats 12, Sabre Room 22, Fremont Room 24, Mint Room 44 and Main St. Room 65. No split checks, but up to six equal payments per table; arrange arrival ahead for guests under 21.
Choose a Las Vegas Group Restaurant by Headcount
Match the room to your final count, not your hopeful one. These are the specific spaces we'd start with at each size.
| Group size | Where to start |
|---|---|
| 8–12 | Bouchon's Point room, Partage's private room, Mott 32's 12-seat rooms or Barry's Chef's Table. For something less formal, try a regular large-table booking first; Beauty & Essex takes à la carte parties of up to 12. |
| 13–20 | Milos' Santorini Room, Din Tai Fung's semi-private room, Ferraro's Greve, Mott 32's Terrace Room (15) or Joe's Boardroom (14). Decide whether you need a closed door before comparing quotes. |
| 21–40 | Carmine's Piccolo, Border Grill's Ciudad or South Room, Beauty & Essex's Jewelry Box, Mon Ami Gabi's private room, Ferraro's Castellini, Joe's Grace's South or Partage's Grand Cru (up to 24). |
| 41–80 | Bouchon's Bocuse room, Mott 32's Boom Boom Room, Milos' Dining Lounge, Carmine's Terrazza, Joe's Grace's North, Border Grill's North Room, Barry's Main St. Room, Ferraro's Firenze or Mon Ami Gabi's combined space (80). |
| 80+ | Carmine's Rotondo or Ritrivo, Oscar's Simpatico or main dining room, Joe's Gigi or Grace's Room, Superfrico, Esther's Kitchen, Firefly, Hofbräuhaus group sales and The Bootlegger's Copa. Ask about seated capacity and layout, not just the largest number the venue can hold. |
Planning and Budgeting a Las Vegas Group Dinner
Ask the seating question first. “We can accommodate 20” isn't the same as “we can put 20 at one table.” Ask whether you're getting one table, adjacent tables, a semi-private area or a closed room, and for a private event, request a simple floor plan.
Get an all-in quote. A per-person menu price is only the start. Drinks, tax, gratuity or service charges, room fees and minimum spends can change the total a lot. For reference, Mon Ami Gabi's three-course group dinner starts at $90 per person and Ferraro's event menus at $105 before drinks, tax and gratuity. On a tighter budget, compare proposals from Carmine's, Maggiano's, Buddy V's, Firefly and Hofbräuhaus using the same headcount and all-in target.
Settle payment before the invitation goes out. Don't assume everyone can pay separately. Hofbräuhaus does one check per table with up to three payment methods, and Barry's takes up to six equal payments.
Send a real meeting point and the details that matter. Name the restaurant and the hotel, not just “The Venetian,” and tell the restaurant about allergies, children's ages, a hard show time or an outside cake. Confirm the cancellation and final-headcount deadlines before you collect money from anyone.
