Finding a bar for four is easy. Finding one for 25 is a different problem. Most of the time you don't need a buyout: you need a few tables, a plan for food and a clear idea of who's paying. Other nights call for a private room, a game to play or a view worth the booking.
This guide is organized by area, so start where your group is meeting. Every entry ends with a quick planning line, and each card links to the bar's booking page. Group sizes are our recommendations, and a room that holds 60 standing won't seat 60. A few entries top out under 20 by reservation; they're here because the space scales up for a private event. Booking details were reviewed in November 2026, and prices usually exclude tax and gratuity.

Best Downtown Seattle Bars for Large Groups
This section runs from Uptown down through Belltown and Pioneer Square to the stadiums, plus South Lake Union. Rob Roy and Fog Room both switch into holiday mode in December, so see our Seattle Christmas bars guide before booking a December date. It's the easiest part of town to get a mixed group to, and the place to book early on game and arena nights. Flatstick's South Lake Union location books through its own event page.

Group size: 15–120 · Cost: no room fee; minimums from $800, or beer packages from $750 · Watch for: rates vary by space, day and time, and a deposit holds the date.

Queen Anne Beerhall
203 W Thomas St, Seattle, WA 98119, USA
Long communal tables and a full menu a few minutes from Climate Pledge Arena, good for a group that'll arrive in waves. Group size: 15–60 · Cost: standard reservation, or a quoted event · Watch for: arena nights change the crowd, so book before the group buys tickets.

Here Today Brewery + Kitchen
2815 Elliott Ave Ste 101, Seattle, WA 98121, USA
A polished brewery and kitchen on Elliott Avenue with clear room sizes: half the dining room for 35, a half buyout for 75 or the whole place for 150. Group size: 20–150 · Cost: quoted · Watch for: DJs and karaoke need the full buyout.

Kells Irish Restaurant & Pub
1916 Post Alley, Seattle, WA 98101, USA
The Long Room sits above Post Alley with its own bar, four screens and sound, holding 62 at banquet rounds or 100 for a reception. Group size: 25–100 · Cost: quoted by the event manager · Watch for: live music and big matches can change the plan downstairs.

Rocco's

Belltown pizza upstairs, with a full bar of your own and two TVs. The room takes 36 seated or 50 mingling, and a buyout reaches 125. Group size: 20–50 · Cost: quoted · Watch for: food and drinks come through Rocco's, so it isn't bring-your-own.

Rob Roy
2332 2nd Ave, Seattle, WA 98121, USA
A proper cocktail bar for a group that's come for the drinks. The Den's couches suit about 15, and a buyout closes the room for up to 65. Group size: 10–65 · Cost: quoted · Watch for: 21+ only, and it's better for mingling than a seated dinner.

Good Bar
240 2nd Ave Ext S, Seattle, WA 98104, USA
An old Pioneer Square bank with a mezzanine that overlooks the room, so the group gets its own area without leaving the party. A full buyout reaches 250. Group size: 10–35 · Cost: quoted · Watch for: stadium days change parking, traffic and the crowd.

300 Westlake Ave N, Seattle, WA 98109, USA
Social darts with automatic scoring that gets a mixed group playing quickly, plus rooms for 50 and 60 and a buyout for 270. Group size: 10–60 · Cost: game booking or event package; book online for up to 12, events team for 13+ · Watch for: 21+ after 6pm Sunday–Friday and all day Saturday.

What to Know Before Bringing a Large Group to a Seattle Bar
Separate a room fee from a minimum. No rental fee doesn't mean no cost. At Rhein Haus, a shortfall on the minimum is charged as room rental.
Decide who's paying before you book. Separate tabs, a host tab and a package are different things. The Octopus Bar takes separate tabs, while Urban Family's loft runs on one card.
Want cheaper drinks first? Tavern Law and Here Today both run deals listed in our Seattle happy hours guide. Read the calendar. Seahawks games, arena nights and big matches can make a bar perfect or impossible. Hellbent doesn't reserve during Seahawks games.
