Halloween in Nashville splits two ways. East Nashville has the deepest bench of themed bars where you can also eat properly, from tiki takeovers to a pizza brewery turned enchanted forest. Downtown and Lower Broadway are the louder, more costumed version of the night, with hotel bars, speakeasies and honky-tonks all dressed up for the season.
This guide covers the 2026 Halloween pop-ups, the dinners and daytime outings worth booking, a few places that feel spooky all year, and the weekend's big parties. Our advice: pick one main event and, at most, one nearby second stop. The best pop-ups have waits, and Halloween weekend isn't the night to spend in three different lines.

Halloween Pop-Up Bars in Nashville
These are the bars that fully transform for the season. Most are 21+ and walk-in only, so go early in the evening or midweek if you want a seat. The last three are Lower Broadway takeovers: none is worth a special trip, but each beats a plain bar if you're already out with a costumed group.

Hidden Bar at Noelle
200 4th Ave N, Nashville, TN 37219, USA
Impractical Magic: the storage-door speakeasy beneath Noelle becomes the Owens family home from Practical Magic, with candlelight, bubbling potions and midnight margaritas. Our first pick for a witchy date. Through October 31. 21+, no reservations; dinner at Lona upstairs gets a skip-the-line pass. Enter through Lona on Church Street. Open 5 p.m.–midnight, until 1 a.m. Friday and Saturday.

Barrel Proof
1010 4th Ave N, Nashville, TN 37219, USA
Black Lagoon: the touring Halloween pop-up goes darker than cozy autumn decor, with cult-horror styling, cinematic lighting and drinks in collectible glassware. The regular kitchen keeps serving late. Tuesday–Saturday through October 31. 21+, walk-ins only.

Sirocco
970 Woodland St, Nashville, TN 37206, USA
Sisters of the Night: have Mediterranean dinner at Sirocco, then head upstairs to the NYX rooftop for candles, cauldrons, potion cocktails and costumed witch sisters. The easiest one-address Halloween date in town. Thursday–Sunday from 7 p.m. through October 31; the rooftop is 21+. Book dinner and rooftop plans separately.

Chopper
1100 B Stratton Ave, Nashville, TN 37206, USA
Hulaween: Chopper's robot-tiki bar adds spooky decor and a full Halloween cocktail list in themed mugs. Order tacos from the Maiz de la Vida truck and eat inside for dinner and drinks in one stop. Through October 31. 21+, walk-ins only, closed Mondays; the food truck closes before the bar.

Pearl Diver
1008 Gallatin Ave, Nashville, TN 37206, USA
Dead Man's Cove: the tiki bar goes haunted shipwreck, with pirate lore and treasure-map decor alongside its tropical barbecue menu. A good choice when the group wants a real meal with its themed cocktails. 21+, walk-ins only; the kitchen closes before the bar.

Bar TENN at Holston House
118 7th Ave N, Nashville, TN 37203, USA
The Spookeasy at Bar TENN: a haunted-hotel bar at Holston House with flickering portraits, ghostly illusions, spooky cocktails and bar bites. A few blocks from Broadway but a world away. Through October 31. 21+, reservations and walk-ins; tarot readings Saturdays 8–11 p.m.

Sonny's Patio Pub
1322 6th Ave N, Nashville, TN 37208, USA
Frankenstein's Cocktail Lab: a ticketed 90-minute session in Sonny's Clubhouse where you finish your own potion cocktails with droppers, beakers and dry ice. Better as a planned group outing than a casual catch-up. Through October 31. 21+, tickets from about $20 with a welcome drink. No ticket? The main bar and Sidecar Bar next door have walk-in Halloween setups.

Lovelorn Lounge
127 Rosa L Parks Blvd, Nashville, TN 37203, USA
Dead Hearts Club: a heartbreak-themed takeover with moody decor and dark-romance cocktails, for anyone who's had enough witches and jump scares. The shareable menu makes it an easy drinks-and-small-plates stop. October 22–November 1, 6 p.m. to midnight, on the fifth floor of Tempo by Hilton. Separate from the hotel's pool bar.

Lost & Found
3104 Gallatin Pike, Nashville, TN 37216, USA
East Nashville Invasion: aliens instead of witches, with four themed cocktails including the Mars Marg and the Invasion Zombie, plus a regular food menu that works for mixed groups. Through November 1.

Perfectly Fine
1105 51st Ave N, Nashville, TN 37209, USA
Nightmare on 51st: this Nations cocktail bar goes full Freddy Krueger, with fog, red lighting, a haunted courtyard and horror movie nights. Relaxed neighborhood energy and a kitchen that runs late. October 27–31. All ages by day, 21+ after 7 p.m.

Pushing Daisies
570 Broadway, Nashville, TN 37203, USA
Día de las Daisies: not a Halloween bar, but worth knowing this weekend. Pushing Daisies celebrates Día de los Muertos with colorful, remembrance-inspired decor and a special margarita menu (October 30–November 1). Decor runs October 27–November 1. 21+, reservations accepted.

L27 Rooftop Lounge
807 Clark Pl, Nashville, TN 37203, USA
The Afterlife Lounge: Beetlejuice-inspired decor, seasonal cocktails and bites on Nashville's highest rooftop bar, a good late-season pick for Halloween weekend visitors. October 29–November 1. Parties on October 30 and 31 may have separate entry rules.

Goodnight Nashville
209 Broadway, Nashville, TN 37201, USA
The Lair: a vampire speakeasy in Buddy's Backroom at Jelly Roll's bar. A fun stop if you're already on Broadway with a costumed group. Through November 1. 21+, no reservations.

Lucky Bastard Saloon
408 Broadway, Nashville, TN 37203, USA
Honky Tonk Hell: head upstairs for devilish decor and spooky cocktails layered onto the honky-tonk formula. Thursday–Saturday through October 31. All ages until 6 p.m., then 21+.

Whiskey River Saloon
111 Broadway, Nashville, TN 37201, USA
Blood, Booze & Broadway: slasher-themed drinks nodding to Chucky, Jigsaw and Camp Crystal Lake. Best for a costumed group already in Broadway mode. Thursday–Saturday through October 31. All ages until 6 p.m., then 21+.

Halloween Dinners, Tea and Family Outings
For when the meal matters as much as the decor, or when the kids are coming along. The Halloween-night dinners need tickets, so book these first.

1 Kitchen
710 Demonbreun St, Nashville, TN 37203, USA
Hallows-Faire Storytelling Dinner: a four-course dinner with pairings and storytelling inspired by Something Wicked This Way Comes, with courses like beef tartare, charred quail and chocolate crémeux. Saturday, October 31, 6–8 p.m. $75 per person plus tax and gratuity. Book Hallows-Faire specifically and mention dietary needs in advance.

Thistle & Rye
1620 West End Ave, Nashville, TN 37203, USA
Clue Masquerade Mystery Dinner: mingle with characters, question suspects and hunt for clues over dinner. Pick this for friends who like to play along, not a quiet catch-up. Saturday, October 31, 6:30–9:30 p.m.; the mystery starts at 7. $65 includes food; drinks extra. Masquerade attire encouraged.

Blue Aster
1620 West End Ave, Nashville, TN 37203, USA
Practical Magic Afternoon Tea: lavender, moonflowers and candlelit Owens-sisters romance over themed tea, savory bites and sweets. A dressed-up daytime alternative to a midnight cocktail bar that runs past Halloween. Friday–Sunday, 1–3 p.m., through November 8. $85 per person; reservations required.

TailGate Brewery East Nashville
811 Gallatin Ave, Nashville, TN 37206, USA
Moonlight & Mischief: purple velvet, glowing clouds, mushrooms and fairies turn the taproom into an enchanted forest, while the scratch-made pizza does the heavy lifting. Our pick for a mixed-age dinner. Through November 1. All ages, walk-ins welcome. Only the Gallatin Avenue taproom is decorated.

East Nashville Beer Works
320 E Trinity Ln, Nashville, TN 37207, USA
Black Flame Beer Works: the original Trinity Lane taproom gets a Hocus Pocus makeover with Sanderson-sisters decor, themed drinks, a special food menu, trivia and movie nights. Through November 1. All ages, walk-ins welcome.

Assembly Food Hall
5055 Broadway, Nashville, TN 37203, USA
The Haunting and Trick or Treatery: The Haunting, a Halloween cocktail pop-up from the team behind Miracle, brings horror-movie decor and seasonal drinks to the food hall, with plenty of dinner options steps away (through October 31). On Halloween day, the free Trick or Treatery runs 11 a.m.–2 p.m. with trick-or-treating, face painting, a movie and a kids' costume contest at 1 p.m.
Spooky All Year, Plus Two Worth the Drive
These don't need a seasonal takeover to feel mysterious, which makes them good picks after the pop-ups close. The last two are short drives south of the city, in Franklin and Brentwood.

House of Cards
Lower Level, 119 3rd Ave S, Nashville, TN 37201, USA
An underground restaurant and magic club beneath the Johnny Cash Museum, with a magic show ticket included with every entrée. The pick for a dressy, slightly surreal dinner any time of year. Dinner is 21+; reserve ahead. The dress code still applies on Halloween: jacket, button-up shirt and dress shoes for men.

Skull's Rainbow Room
222 Printers Alley, Nashville, TN 37219, USA
A proper dinner, live jazz every night and late burlesque on weekends. Right for a grown-up night that doesn't need seasonal decor. Burlesque Friday–Sunday at 11 p.m.; a $25 cover starts at 9 p.m. Kitchen closes at 11 p.m.

Amendment XVIII
317 Main St, Franklin, TN 37064, USA
Haunted Speakeasy: ghostly illusions and animated portraits suit this vintage-style Franklin speakeasy perfectly. Treat it as a full Franklin night out, not a stop on a downtown crawl. Through November 1. Food served; reservation requests and walk-ins accepted. Enter from the alley.

The Raven Book Lounge
330 Franklin Rd #250b, Brentwood, TN 37027, USA
A Gothic Gathering: a literary Halloween with trivia, specialty drinks and hidden ravens to find for prizes, a welcome break from the rooftop and honky-tonk circuit. Saturday, October 31, 2–11 p.m. Come in costume for half off an appetizer.

How We'd Plan a Halloween Night in Nashville
A witchy date. Have dinner at Lona and use the skip-the-line pass for Hidden Bar downstairs. Or keep it in East Nashville with dinner at Sirocco and drinks on the NYX rooftop afterward.
An East Nashville night with food. Make Chopper (with tacos from Maiz de la Vida) or Pearl Diver your main stop. Add a second bar only if the group really wants to move.
Halloween dinner, no bar-hopping. Book 1 Kitchen for a food-first storytelling dinner, or Thistle & Rye if everyone wants to play detective.
Halloween with kids. Go to TailGate East Nashville or East Nashville Beer Works for pizza and decor. On the day itself, Assembly Food Hall's free Trick or Treatery is the easiest organized option downtown.
