DFW Restaurants That Go All Out for Christmas (2026)
The Dallas–Fort Worth dining rooms that decorate for the holidays, plus the hotel restaurants and lights-adjacent tables worth a December reservation

Some restaurants hang a wreath. These hang thousands of ornaments from the ceiling, fill the room with animated polar bears, or turn a beer garden into a vintage Christmas village. This guide is about those places: the Dallas–Fort Worth restaurants where the decorations are a reason to book, not an afterthought.
The list runs by area: Dallas, Fort Worth, Grapevine, then the northern suburbs. Each card opens with what the restaurant does for Christmas, whether it transforms its own room, sits inside a decorated hotel, or puts you next to the lights. Every pick is a real meal, from a cheeseburger under the ornaments at Hudson House to a four-course Christmas Eve dinner in Grapevine. The 22 picks cover Dallas, Fort Worth, Grapevine, Plano, Frisco, Addison and McKinney.
Planning for Christmas 2026: restaurants announce their holiday setups on their own schedules, usually through November. Entries with a dated 2026 announcement say so. The rest are places that have decorated for several seasons running and are expected back; we will update this page as their 2026 dates post. Last checked October 20, 2026.

How we chose: we picked restaurants where the Christmas setting changes the meal, then weighed the food, the room, the location and how easy it is to plan a good visit. Cocktail-only pop-ups and hotel suite bars belong in our companion DFW Christmas bars guide, not here.
Christmas Restaurants in Dallas That Decorate for the Holidays
Dallas has the widest range, from full-room transformations (Hudson House, Mercat's Polar Bear Room) to decorated neighborhood bistros, hotel showpieces at The Adolphus and The Mansion, and two tables beside the lights at Highland Park Village and the Arboretum. Every card says which kind it is.

Hudson House, Lovers Lane
4448 Lovers Ln, Dallas, TX 75225
The original Hudson House strings thousands of ornaments across its navy-and-gold dining room each December, and it has become the Dallas Christmas dinner people photograph. Oysters and martinis for the celebrants, a cheeseburger for the person who doesn't want a fuss, steak frites or a lobster roll in between. The decorations belong to this branch only. Details: Park Cities. Returning favorite; 2026 decoration dates pending.

Mercat Bistro and the Polar Bear Room
2501 N Harwood St Suite 225, Dallas, TX 75201
Animated, singing polar bears sharing the room with a French bistro meal: the most distinctive Christmas idea in Dallas, and the pick for a family dinner or any evening that needs a little theater. Past seasons ran brunch and dinner in the room with a kids' menu; a Polar Bear Table faced the bears directly, a Polar Bear Room reservation did not promise that view. Details: Harwood District. Watch for the named Polar Bear booking when 2026 plans post; a standard Mercat table is a different reservation.

Leela's, Lower Greenville
1914 Greenville Ave, Dallas, TX 75206
Leela's Lower Greenville room goes traditional for Christmas with reds, greenery and gold. Thin-crust pizzas, salads and shareable boards make it an easy sociable dinner: a few pizzas, a board, a bottle of wine, and the room does the rest. Details: Lower Greenville. Returning favorite; 2026 details pending. Each branch has its own booking page and holiday seating can differ.

Leela's, Uptown
2355 Olive St #145, Dallas, TX 75201
The Uptown Leela's takes the playful route with bows and nutcrackers, a different look from its Lower Greenville sibling. Same pizzas, boards and wine, so pick the branch for the atmosphere you want rather than the closest one. Details: Uptown. Returning favorite; 2026 details pending. Check this branch's own booking page for holiday seating.

St. Henry's Winter Wonderland at The Henry
2301 N Akard St Ste 250, Dallas, TX 75201
The Henry's Christmas lives upstairs, where the rooftop becomes St. Henry's Winter Wonderland, a covered, heated seasonal bar and dining space. Best as an early dinner that stretches into drinks with a group. Details: Uptown, The Union. Book St. Henry's specifically rather than the main dining room and budget for its entry charge; part of the cover goes to the North Texas Food Bank. Booking page live; 2026 dates to confirm.

Harwood Arms
2823 McKinnon St, Dallas, TX 75201
Wreaths, lights and ornaments in a British pub that was already built for a long cold-weather evening. Fish and chips, bangers and mash, shepherd's pie and a proper burger, with televisions and scheduled entertainment, so think convivial rather than hushed. Details: Harwood District. Bangers and mash $19; fish and chips $22; shepherd's pie $23. Returning favorite; 2026 details pending.

Paradiso
308 N Bishop Ave, Dallas, TX 75208
Paradiso's garden fills with gold ornaments, illuminated stars and strings of lights in December, layered over the greenery it has year-round. The prettiest Christmas date in Bishop Arts, with pizza, house-made pasta and baked goods making it a full dinner. Details: Bishop Arts. Choose seating with the weather in mind. Returning favorite; 2026 dates pending.

Knox Bistro
3230 Knox St #140, Dallas, TX 75205
Illuminated garlands, ornaments and ribbons turn Knox Bistro into a neighborhood French bistro dressed for Christmas. French onion soup, escargots, mussels, steak frites and duck confit suit a date or small family dinner where you want to linger over several courses. Details: Knox Street. Returning favorite; 2026 dates pending.

Beverley's Bistro & Bar
3215 N Fitzhugh Ave, Dallas, TX 75204
Lights across the ceiling, trees at the entrance and wreaths on the walls give this neighborhood bistro a cheerful seasonal lift. Chicken schnitzel, steak frites, a double cheeseburger, matzo ball soup and latkes cover a group without a long debate; weekend brunch suits a daytime holiday reunion. Details: Fitzhugh Avenue. Returning favorite; 2026 dates pending.

Mariano's Hacienda Ranch, Skillman
6300 Skillman St, Dallas, TX 75231
Garlands, lights and a working fireplace make the Skillman Mariano's the easygoing Tex-Mex Christmas room in Dallas: fajitas, enchiladas and margaritas in a festive, unfussy setting. Details: Northeast Dallas. The restaurant group has several North Texas locations; the holiday setting belongs to this branch. Returning favorite; 2026 dates pending.

The French Room and French Room Bar at The Adolphus
1321 Commerce St, Dallas, TX 75202
The Adolphus dresses The French Room with elaborate decorations and holiday music, and the three-course Holiday Tea is the Dallas Christmas outing worth dressing up for. For an evening meal, the adjacent French Room Bar runs holiday dining with modern French food and seasonal cocktails; the two are separate bookings. Details: Downtown Dallas. Holiday Tea November 4, 2026 – January 10, 2027, $85 adult / $35 under 12 plus tax and gratuity, closed Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Year's Day. French Room Bar holiday dining November 4, 2026 – January 9, 2027.

The Mansion Restaurant
2821 Turtle Creek Blvd, Dallas, TX 75219
The Mansion on Turtle Creek decorates its historic rooms for Christmas, and the restaurant carries the sense of a place with a long tradition of celebrations: the splurge pick for an anniversary, dinner with parents or an evening meant to feel special. Contemporary American with French influence and a deep wine list; the Mansion Bar is a separate seating. Details: Turtle Creek. Returning favorite; Christmas Eve and Christmas Day menus post separately.

Bistro 31 and the Highland Park Village lights
87 Highland Park Village Suite 200 / 1st Floor, Dallas, TX 75205
Highland Park Village strings its courtyards and storefronts with lights each season, and Bistro 31 is the dinner that puts you in the middle of them. Murano chandeliers and a climate-controlled patio inside; French, Italian and Spanish influences on the menu, with escargot, handmade pasta and Dover sole. Details: Highland Park Village. Book after dark and leave time for the lights walk. 2026 lighting schedule pending.

Restaurant DeGolyer at the Dallas Arboretum
8525 Garland Rd, Dallas, TX 75218
The DeGolyer House tea makes the Arboretum's Christmas displays part of a full daytime outing: soup, finger sandwiches, scones and sweets in the historic house. Seated tea is ages 10 and up, regular indoor Tea Room dining 13 and up; outdoor loggia seating is separate. Details: White Rock Lake. 2026 Holiday Tea November 14 – January 8, 2027, $65 per person before booking charges; Holiday at the Arboretum runs November 11, 2026 – January 3, 2027. Review garden admission and parking at checkout; nighttime admission is separate.
Festive Christmas Restaurants in Fort Worth
Fort Worth's strongest picks are hotel settings with a distinctly local character: Western Christmas at Hotel Drover in the Stockyards, fireplaces at Bowie House, and carolers in The Crescent's lobby. Three picks, all worth the drive from Dallas.

97 West Kitchen & Bar at Hotel Drover
200 Mule Alley, Fort Worth, TX 76164
Hotel Drover's Western Christmas, all leather, timber and holiday greenery, is the most Fort Worth setting on this list, with contemporary Texas cooking and Southern comfort food at 97 West. The hotel's tree lighting and 12 Days of Drover are for overnight guests only; make the Stockyards your before-or-after plan. Details: Stockyards, Mule Alley. December 24 and 25, 2026: three-course brunch 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., four-course dinner 4 to 9 p.m. Reservations listed as coming soon, price not yet posted.

Bricks and Horses at Bowie House
3700 Camp Bowie Blvd, Fort Worth, TX 76107
Fireplaces, twinkling lights and a polished Western look throughout Bowie House's public rooms, with a proper chophouse dinner at Bricks and Horses inside it. Beef, seasonal vegetables and contemporary American cooking; a strong date-night or special-occasion choice. Details: Cultural District, Fort Worth. Seasonal tea in the Mulberry Room is booked separately. Returning favorite; 2026 details pending.

Emilia's at The Crescent Hotel Fort Worth
3300 Camp Bowie Blvd, Fort Worth, TX 76107
The Crescent's lobby is the draw: a Christmas tree, fireside seating and complimentary carolers on selected evenings, open to visitors as well as guests. Emilia's Italian-inspired menu with seafood and Mediterranean influences turns that lobby into a full evening out. Details: Cultural District, Fort Worth. Christmas Day 2026 buffet seatings 10 a.m., noon and 2 p.m., $150 adult / $75 child, alcohol extra, prepaid; parties over eight should call.
Christmas Dining in Grapevine, the Christmas Capital of Texas
In Grapevine the meal is part of a bigger outing: Main Street's lights around Hotel Vin and Harvest Hall, or the two-million-light resort spectacle at Gaylord Texan. Restaurant reservations and attraction tickets are always separate.

Bacchus Kitchen + Bar at Hotel Vin
215 E Dallas Rd, Grapevine, TX 76051
Hotel Vin sits beside Grapevine's train station a short walk from Main Street, and Bacchus is the proper sit-down dinner before or after the lights: seasonal cooking and a long wine list. Hotel Vin's outdoor Winter Wonderland Bubbles run November 13, 2026 – February 14, 2027 as a separate experience; a Bacchus reservation does not include one. Details: Historic Main Street, Grapevine. December 24 and 25, 2026: four-course dinner, $99 per guest.

Riverwalk Cantina at Gaylord Texan
1501 Gaylord Trail, Grapevine, TX 76051

Restaurant reservations and attraction tickets are separate; self-parking $30, valet $50 per day plus tax; cashless.

Zeppole at Gaylord Texan
1501 Gaylord Trail, Grapevine, TX 76051
The Italian option inside Gaylord Texan's two-million-light Christmas: pasta and brick-oven pizza in a courtyard setting, a sit-down alternative to Riverwalk Cantina for the same resort visit. Details: Grapevine. Resort Christmas season November 13, 2026 – January 3, 2027. Reserve the table separately from attraction tickets; self-parking $30, valet $50 per day plus tax; cashless.

Harvest Hall and Third Rail
815 S Main St, Grapevine, TX 76051
Eight kitchens covering pizza, barbecue, hot chicken, Mediterranean and more, so a mixed group eats without agreeing on one cuisine, with Grapevine Main Street's lights a short walk away. The decorations are at Third Rail, the hall's entertainment venue, which becomes Holly Jolly for the season. Details: Grapevine Main. Holly Jolly November 20, 2026 – January 3, 2027. A meal from one of the kitchens does not reserve a Third Rail table; events may ticket separately.
Festive Restaurants in Plano, Frisco, Addison and McKinney
You don't need to drive into Dallas for a decorated room. The northern suburbs have two of the fullest transformations on the list, Suburban Sleigh Club in Plano and Tinseltown Tavern in McKinney, plus La Parisienne's winter bistro in Frisco and Addison.

Suburban Yacht Club
5872 State Hwy 121 Ste 104, Plano, TX 75024
Each winter Suburban Yacht Club becomes the Suburban Sleigh Club, filling the space with decorations and seasonal drinks while keeping a real dinner at the center. Fish tacos, short-rib quesabirria, enchiladas, burgers, bowls and salmon, plus a kids' menu. Details: The Boardwalk at Granite Park, Plano. Burger $17; enchiladas $18; three tacos $18. Indoor and patio tables see different parts of the setup. Sleigh Club returns most years; 2026 dates pending.

La Parisienne French Bistro, Frisco
6740 Winning Dr Ste 1000, Frisco, TX 75034
La Parisienne's winter transformation brings lights and seasonal decorations into its French bistro, and the Frisco branch makes an outing of The Star. Brunch, lunch, dessert or afternoon tea, so it works for a Christmas plan in the middle of the day. Details: The Star, Frisco. Regular dining and afternoon tea have separate reservation links; wait for the named 2026 holiday tea before assuming a standard tea booking includes the seasonal menu.

La Parisienne French Bistro, Addison

The Addison La Parisienne is the easier north Dallas meeting point for the same decorated French bistro rooms: brunch, lunch, dessert or afternoon tea. Details: Village on the Parkway, Addison. A Grapevine afternoon and dinner. Main Street, then Bacchus. Swap in Harvest Hall when the group wants different cuisines.
