Dallas-Fort Worth does Christmas drinks in several very different ways. You can book a rooftop chalet, squeeze into a bar covered in ornaments, trade eggnog for a tropical cocktail, or turn a night in Grapevine into drinks, live music, and a walk along Main Street.
The best choice depends on the evening you want, and in DFW it also depends on which part of town you're willing to drive to. This guide is organized by area so you can plan one night in one place. If you want a starting point: Miracle on South Main at Nickel City for a classic Christmas-bar night, the Adolphus for a dressed-up date, or Holly Jolly at Harvest Hall for an outing with more to it than one drink and a photo.
2026 season note: Fort Worth, Grapevine and Arlington are ahead of Dallas proper this year. The Adolphus is the only Dallas venue with published dates so far, and Miracle hasn't named its 2026 Dallas host. Most Dallas announcements usually land in early November, so check the status line on each card before making a special trip. We'll refresh this guide in mid-November.

Christmas bars in Dallas: Downtown, Uptown, Bishop Arts and The Village
Downtown has the two Adolphus experiences with dates already published. The rest of the Dallas list is made up of returning favorites that haven't posted 2026 details yet, which is normal for mid-October. Plan a downtown evening around the Adolphus now, and keep Bishop Arts, Uptown and The Village in mind for when their announcements land. Blitzen's at Omni runs at three DFW properties; the Fort Worth and PGA Frisco editions are in their own sections below.

The Adolphus: Winter Village and The French Room Bar
1321 Commerce St, Dallas, TX 75202, USA
Dates announced: Winter Village November 13, 2026 to January 31, 2027; French Room Bar holiday cocktails November 4, 2026 to January 9, 2027. Two separate experiences at the same hotel. The seventh-floor rooftop becomes an alpine village of chalets, cabanas, blankets, warm cocktails and an ice-free curling court; rentals run $295 to $495 plus tax and 20% service, each with Champagne and valet, and Alpine Curl is $20 per person for 50 minutes with a fire pit. Downstairs, The French Room Bar is the dressed-up indoor option, with a 2026 holiday menu that includes the Golden Orchard, First Frost and a crème brûlée espresso martini. Details: Rooftop open daily through January 9, closed January 10 to 13, then Thursday to Saturday January 14 to 30. French Room Bar holiday dining closed November 26, December 25, December 31 and January 1. Holiday Tea is a separate reservation.

A Very Merry Village
5670 Village Glen Dr, Dallas, TX 75206, USA
Confirmed for 2026, dates pending. A Very Merry Village fills the upstairs Country Club space with Christmas decorations, festive drinks and food, with more lights along The Village's Main Street. It suits the kind of holiday outing where people want to wander, take photos and settle in for a drink. Previous editions offered free walk-in admission with separate tickets for special activities. Details: 2026 dates and entry details still to come.

Tipsy Elf
200 N Bishop Ave, Dallas, TX 75208, USA
Awaiting 2026 details. Tipsy Elf is the spectacle pick: the recent Bishop Arts takeover spread the Christmas party across themed bars and photo settings, with DJs, karaoke and a playful Texas twist. Go early if seeing the decorations and moving around comfortably matter most; later hours are for party energy. Details: Have dinner in Bishop Arts first, and keep the plan flexible if the queue becomes the main event.

Leela's Holiday House (Lower Greenville)
1914 Greenville Ave, Dallas, TX 75206, USA
Awaiting 2026 details. Leela's Holiday House is the easiest holiday pick for a group that wants an actual meal with the decorations: wine, cocktails, thin-crust pizzas and shareable bites. The Lower Greenville branch has leaned into red, green and gold. Details: Check seating and reservation options for this branch once 2026 details post. Uptown and Trophy Club branches are pinned separately.

Leela's Holiday House (Uptown)
2355 Olive St #145, Dallas, TX 75201, USA
Awaiting 2026 details. The Uptown Leela's has gone for pink, teal, bows and nutcrackers in past seasons, with the same wine, cocktails, thin-crust pizzas and shareable bites that make Leela's an easy place to eat and drink under the decorations. Details: Check seating and reservation options for this branch once 2026 details post.

St. Henry's Winter Wonderland at The Henry
2301 N Akard St Ste 250, Dallas, TX 75201, USA
Awaiting 2026 details. St. Henry's Winter Wonderland takes over The Henry's rooftop, where a covered, heated setting and a full food menu give the evening some structure. It works for a holiday dinner with friends or a date that begins with a cocktail and keeps going. Details: Make sure the reservation is for the rooftop experience; the main dining room is a different plan.

The holiday pub at Harwood Arms
2823 McKinnon St, Dallas, TX 75201, USA
Awaiting 2026 details. Guinness, whiskey and fish and chips in a British-style room give Harwood Arms a clear identity before any decorations go up, and its seasonal editions have added Christmas greenery and festive cocktails to that pub setting. Choose it when the group wants to eat, catch up and let the evening run at its own pace. Details: On the La Rue Perdue alleyway at Harwood No. 10; use the McKinnon Street entrance, not the Harwood parking garage. Check the calendar if a match, karaoke or live music would change the night.

Tinsel Tavern at The Exchange
211 S Akard St, Dallas, TX 75202, USA
Awaiting 2026 details. Tinsel Tavern occupies the second-floor Exchange Bar, with the food hall below, which makes it easy to combine a drink with dinner and a walk through the Discovery District. Past seasons have favored playful martinis, margaritas and peppermint drinks. Details: Use it as a cheerful stop in a broader downtown plan; look for the Exchange Bar's seasonal announcement.

Blitzen's at Omni Dallas
665 S Lamar St, Dallas, TX 75202, USA
Awaiting 2026 details. Blitzen's at Omni Dallas brings ornaments, tinsel, lights and a holiday cocktail list developed with Julie Reiner to Hops & Hens at Restaurants on Lamar. A central stop for a festive drink before or after another downtown plan. Details: This is the Dallas Hops & Hens edition; Omni Fort Worth and Omni PGA Frisco run their own versions in different rooms with different schedules.
Christmas bars in Fort Worth: Near Southside, Magnolia, the Stockyards and Downtown
Fort Worth has the strongest classic Christmas-bar pairing in DFW this year: Miracle and Sippin' Santa a few blocks apart in the Near Southside. The rest of the list adds an intimate cocktail room on Magnolia, a country dance hall in the Stockyards, a big social club near West 7th, and two downtown hotel options.

Miracle on South Main at Nickel City
212 S Main St Ste 100, Fort Worth, TX 76104, USA
Confirmed for 2026, dates pending. Miracle on South Main brings its wall-to-wall holiday cocktail theme to a neighborhood bar that already has plenty of personality, and the regular Delray Cafe menu of coneys, sliders and wings means nobody needs to leave for dinner. Our first Fort Worth pick for a full Christmas-bar evening. Details: Local Miracle dates still to come. Pair it with Sippin' Santa at The Down 'n Out a few blocks away.

Sippin' Santa at The Down 'n Out
150 W Rosedale St, Fort Worth, TX 76104, USA
Confirmed for 2026, dates pending. Sippin' Santa takes Christmas in an island direction, with tiki-style holiday drinks instead of eggnog. Pool tables, food, dancing and karaoke are part of the regular bar, so there's a reason to stay past the first round; it suits an easygoing friends' night more than a formal holiday date. Details: Local Sippin' Santa dates still to come. Check the event calendar if music or a particular party is part of the plan.

Holly Daze at Proper
409 W Magnolia Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76104, USA
Awaiting 2026 details. Proper is a serious neighborhood cocktail bar first, and past Holly Daze editions have layered Christmas lights and decorations into an already welcoming room. The intimate setting suits two people or a few friends who want a good drink and time to talk. Details: Make it a focused stop on Magnolia and keep the group small.

Honkytonk Holidays at Rodeo Exchange
221 W Exchange Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76164, USA
Awaiting 2026 details. Honkytonk Holidays adds Western Christmas scenery to a working country dance hall, the most distinctly Fort Worth version of this night out, and gives you a reason to stay for the music and the dance floor. Best when friends are in town and a Stockyards evening is already on the agenda. Details: Regular venue is strictly 21+ with photo ID. Check the night's music and entry details before going.

Christmas Vacation at Birdie's Social Club
2735 W 5th St, Fort Worth, TX 76107, USA
Awaiting 2026 details. Space is the practical advantage at Birdie's: extensive indoor and outdoor seating, food and a steady events calendar, with the recent Christmas Vacation theme adding movie-inspired holiday scenery. A big group can make it the main gathering point for the whole evening. Details: For a larger party, use the group-reservation route and say whether indoor seating matters.

Harper Winter Chalet at Refinery 714
714 Main St, Fort Worth, TX 76102, USA
Awaiting 2026 details. Skyline views from the 24th floor of the Kimpton Harper, velvet seating, cocktails, wine and shared plates are the draw, and the recent Harper Winter Chalet treatment added a seasonal layer. The Fort Worth choice when the room and the view matter more than the ornaments. Details: It's a penthouse lounge; plan around a seated drink rather than a crowded party.

Blitzen's at Omni Fort Worth
1300 Houston St, Fort Worth, TX 76102, USA
Awaiting 2026 details. Blitzen's at Omni Fort Worth takes place at Wine Thief, with Christmas ornaments and lights and cocktails from Omni's Julie Reiner collaboration. A downtown hotel-bar alternative to the Near Southside bars when dinner or another downtown plan is already set. Details: This is the Fort Worth edition; Omni Dallas and Omni PGA Frisco run their own versions.
Christmas bars in Grapevine: Main Street and the Lake
Grapevine is the most fully announced part of DFW this year, with three dated experiences. Holly Jolly and Hotel Vin sit next to each other on and off Main Street and pair naturally. Bad Santa's is out at the marina and needs its own trip.

Holly Jolly Bar at Third Rail
815 S Main St, Grapevine, TX 76051, USA
Dates announced: November 20, 2026 to January 3, 2027. Holly Jolly Bar sits inside Third Rail at Harvest Hall, so you can eat at the food hall, have a festive cocktail and catch live entertainment without arranging three stops. Our strongest Grapevine pick for friends who want atmosphere and something happening around them. Details: Check the performance calendar before choosing a night, especially for a reserved seat at a show. TEXRail stops beside the complex; Hotel Vin is next door.

Winter Wonderland Bubbles at Hotel Vin
215 E Dallas Rd, Grapevine, TX 76051, USA
Dates announced: November 13, 2026 to February 14, 2027. The Winter Wonderland Bubbles sit on the WineYard north lawn beside the historic railroad and give a holiday gathering a clear beginning: arrive, settle in, spend 90 minutes together. $260 per party, seats up to eight, and includes four glasses of sparkling wine and fondue for two to four, so a full group of eight should plan to add food and drinks. Children are welcome. Details: The separate $120 Fireside package books a 90-minute outdoor fire-pit reservation for up to four with a bottle of sparkling wine. Check the final checkout total for either.

Bad Santa's Boathouse
2500 Oak Grove Loop S #200, Grapevine, TX 76051, USA
Dates announced: November 6 to December 26, 2026. Bad Santa's Boathouse turns Scott's Landing Marina into a lakeside Christmas party with lights, music, themed lounges and a mischievous streak. The reserved-seating ticket covers a 90-minute visit and a cocktail or mocktail; food is available. Details: A standard seat reservation is not a private igloo. The organizer lists guests 16 and older, but the theme is adult, so treat it as a grown-up outing. The marina needs its own trip from the Main Street bars.
Christmas bars in Arlington

Miracle at Texas Live!
1650 E Randol Mill Rd #110, Arlington, TX 76011, USA
Dates announced: November 21 to December 24, 2026. Miracle at Texas Live! adds Christmas cocktails, lights and festive scenery to Miller Tavern inside the entertainment complex, so the evening feels like an event with plenty of options around it. The Arlington answer for a group that wants an energetic setting. Details: Reservations open November 1; pick the date together before booking, especially when the sports district is busy. An opening-day mimosa event has its own ticket.
Christmas bars in the northern suburbs: The Colony, Plano, Frisco and Trophy Club
For a night closer to home, Puttery at Grandscape is the confirmed 2026 pop-up host. Truck Yard and Suburban Yacht Club are returning favorites awaiting details, and Leela's Trophy Club and Blitzen's at Omni PGA Frisco round out the list.

Miracle at Puttery
5762 Grandscape Blvd Ste 105, The Colony, TX 75056, USA
Confirmed for 2026, dates pending. Mini golf, food and cocktails are already the formula at Puttery, and Miracle's 2026 pop-up adds a seasonal reason to visit: a double date, a competitive group or an informal team outing. The permanent Lodge course has an alpine setting; the Miracle pop-up is the separate seasonal attraction, and you can use the bar and kitchen without playing. Details: Book golf if it's part of the plan. For a mixed-age group, check the evening age policy for your chosen date.

Suburban Sleigh Club at Suburban Yacht Club
5872 State Hwy 121 Ste 104, Plano, TX 75024, USA
Awaiting 2026 details. Suburban Sleigh Club adds festive drinks and decorations to Suburban Yacht Club's Boardwalk setting, where Cal-Mex food, tacos, margaritas and tropical cocktails make it a holiday gathering that starts around the table. A good choice for friends who want an easier local plan and a proper meal. Details: Watch for the 2026 Sleigh Club announcement before planning around it.

Santa's Last Stop at Truck Yard
5959 Grove Ln, The Colony, TX 75056, USA
Awaiting 2026 details. Santa's Last Stop turns the Beard Science brewery space inside Truck Yard into a Christmas bar with dense decorations and seasonal drinks, with food trucks, beer and music around it. Keep it in mind for friends who want a relaxed night and the freedom to stay a while. Details: The program is specific to Truck Yard in The Colony; don't assume it at other branches.

Blitzen's at Omni PGA Frisco
3255 PGA Pkwy, Frisco, TX 75033, USA
Awaiting 2026 details. Blitzen's at Omni PGA Frisco runs at Lounge by Topgolf in the PGA District, with elaborate Christmas decorations, holiday cocktails, nonalcoholic options, hot chocolate and snacks, which makes it the Omni edition to pick for a mixed group. Details: Navigate to Lounge by Topgolf, not the hotel front desk; the Omni Frisco at The Star is a different hotel.

Leela's Holiday House (Trophy Club)
2980 TX-114 Frontage Rd, Trophy Club, TX 76262, USA
Awaiting 2026 details. The Trophy Club Leela's has taken a more woodland direction for Christmas, and it's the northern-suburbs way to get the Leela's formula of wine, cocktails, thin-crust pizzas and shareable bites. Details: Check seating and reservation options for this branch once 2026 details post.
A few more places to know
Two casual Dallas bars for a less structured night. Double Wide at 3510 Commerce Street and Single Wide at 2110 Greenville Avenue are everyday bar alternatives for a change of pace during a holiday outing. Double Wide has live music; Single Wide is the smaller Lower Greenville sibling. Neither is a Christmas pop-up.
A hotel speakeasy to watch. Saint Nick's Suite Escape at Virgin Hotels Dallas ran a limited-entry, timed-visit holiday experience in a decorated Design District hotel suite last year. A 2026 return hasn't been confirmed, so it stays on the watch list.
How to plan a Christmas bar night in DFW
Choose one part of DFW for the evening. A shorter plan usually makes for a better night. Downtown Dallas works for the Adolphus experiences now, with Tinsel Tavern and Blitzen's nearby once their seasonal plans are released. In Fort Worth, Nickel City and The Down 'n Out give you two different Christmas themes within a short walk. Grapevine is best for pairing Holly Jolly with Hotel Vin and Main Street.
Treat the lake as a separate Grapevine outing. Bad Santa's Boathouse needs its own journey from the Main Street bars, so arrange transportation if you want both. Arlington's Texas Live! and the Grandscape venues in The Colony also work best as the center of an evening in their own areas.
Go early when the room matters more than the party. For photos, a comfortable first drink, and easier movement around the decorations, choose an early weekday visit or the first available weekend slot. Later weekend hours make sense when the crowd is part of the appeal. For a larger group, pick one main venue and reserve where possible.
Read what the reservation buys. A bar cover, a table reservation, a private bubble, and a chalet rental are different purchases. Look at the guest limit, the length of the reservation, included drinks and food, and the final total. This matters most at Hotel Vin and Bad Santa's, where seating arrangements and included portions change the value of the visit.
Pick your seat with the weather in mind. Rooftops, patios and lakeside settings are part of the appeal, but they change the evening. Ask for the seating type you want when booking. A private chalet, an open fire-pit table and ordinary indoor dining are different experiences even at the same property.
