Château de Tourreau Wedding Guide (2028): Pricing, Capacity & Everything Else

Château de Tourreau is a private estate in Sarrians, in the Vaucluse countryside north of Avignon. Its pale façade and green shutters frame the formal gardens, the fountain offers a separate ceremony backdrop, and the infinity pool gives cocktails and the next day's brunch a different atmosphere. The property is reserved for your group, with close family and friends staying in the château and Guest House.

The 2028 rentals begin at €50,000 for April 21–24, rise through four differently priced May weekends and reach €110,000 for June weekends. July and August use a longer, four-night format: €135,000 Thursday–Monday or €110,000 Monday–Friday. Most other listed stays are Friday–Monday, covering three nights. The rental includes accommodation for 29 people, but the estate accepts weddings of up to 150 guests.

The important tradeoff is that Tourreau is an outdoor wedding venue. A marquee backup is required, and for events above 90 guests, options generally start around €25,000. That comes before catering, furniture, flowers and much of the production. For a 100-person wedding with a three-night June stay, a welcome dinner, farewell brunch and a marquee allowance, our working budget is approximately €255,000–€385,000, with the exclusions explained below.

  • Main arrival airport: Marseille Provence Airport, MRS; allow approximately 60–80 minutes by road as a planning estimate
  • Main consideration: Most guests need nearby hotels and shuttles, and weather protection is a substantial cost beyond the rental
  • Illustrative wedding budget: Approximately €255,000–€385,000 for 100 guests and a three-night June 2028 stay, including the modeled marquee allowance

The RoamRecs Take

Tourreau works best as a garden wedding wrapped around a private château stay for your closest family and friends.

The layout is a real strength. You can arrive beneath the north façade, hold the ceremony at the fountain or in front of the château, move to the pool for drinks and return to the formal garden for dinner. Each part feels distinct without sending guests to a second venue. The welcome evening and farewell brunch can also remain on the estate, so there is a coherent weekend here rather than one beautiful dinner surrounded by separate bookings.

The architecture does much of the decorative work. Long tables follow the geometry of the clipped gardens, with the illuminated château as the backdrop through dinner. We would preserve those sightlines rather than cover the setting with oversized installations. That does not make production inexpensive. Furniture, lighting, catering and weather protection still have to turn the garden into a comfortable place to spend an evening.

There are two substantial compromises. The first is accommodation: 29 people can stay, which means 71 of a 100-person guest list need other rooms. The intimacy is excellent for immediate family and the wedding party, but most guests experience Tourreau as an event destination, not their home for the weekend. Hotel selection and shuttles therefore deserve as much attention as the room allocation inside the château.

The second is the weather plan. A marquee changes both the cost and the view, so the covered version deserves the same attention as the garden dinner. That matters particularly here: the relationship between the château and the formal gardens is a large part of what you are paying for.

Our preferred range is around 80–120 guests: enough of a gathering to suit the gardens, without sitting right at the 150-person limit. It is a preference rather than a seating guarantee. The dinner and marquee layouts still need to leave room for your tables, entertainment and dancefloor.

For a smaller group, Tourreau can be wonderfully personal, but reducing the headcount does little to the fixed rental. For a larger wedding near 150, the room blocks, seated plan and covered layout become more demanding. We would look elsewhere for an all-guests-on-site weekend, a modest overall budget, a guaranteed permanent indoor reception room or unrestricted sound.

The 3 a.m. weekend music allowance is a real advantage for couples who want time to dance after dinner.

How Much Does a Château de Tourreau Wedding Cost?

2028 rental prices by date

These date-specific 2028 examples are exclusive-use stay totals, not nightly rates or per-person packages. They show the cost of the arrangements below, rather than prices guaranteed for every wedding. The three-night stays include the accommodation and services detailed below; July and August require four nights.

  • April 21–24: Stay: Friday–Monday, 3 nights. Venue rental: €50,000.
  • May 5–8: Stay: Friday–Monday, 3 nights. Venue rental: €60,000.
  • May 12–15: Stay: Friday–Monday, 3 nights. Venue rental: €65,000.
  • May 19–22: Stay: Friday–Monday, 3 nights. Venue rental: €80,000.
  • May 26–29: Stay: Friday–Monday, 3 nights. Venue rental: €90,000.
  • June weekends: Stay: Friday–Monday, 3 nights. Venue rental: €110,000.
  • July and August, weekend: Stay: Thursday–Monday, 4 nights. Venue rental: €135,000.
  • July and August, midweek: Stay: Monday–Friday, 4 nights. Venue rental: €110,000.
  • September 1–4 and 8–11: Stay: Friday–Monday, 3 nights. Venue rental: €110,000.
  • September 15–18: Stay: Friday–Monday, 3 nights. Venue rental: €95,000.
  • September 22–25: Stay: Friday–Monday, 3 nights. Venue rental: €85,000.
  • October weekends: Stay: Friday–Monday, 3 nights. Venue rental: €60,000.

July and August have a further limitation: only one wedding is accepted in each month. The midweek price is an alternative way to book that limited summer wedding inventory, not evidence of additional weddings between the weekends. Additional rental days may be possible, with the price depending on the dates.

Where date selection makes the biggest difference

Moving from a €110,000 June weekend to May 5–8 reduces the rental by €50,000. April 21–24 is €60,000 less than June, while September 22–25 is €25,000 less. October is also €50,000 below June. These are rental savings; they do not assume identical heating, weather protection or supplier costs in every month.

July/August midweek saves €25,000 against the four-night summer weekend. Both stays are the same length, but the midweek music cutoff is an hour earlier. Meanwhile, the €135,000 summer weekend costs €25,000 more than June and adds a night, so the comparison also needs that extra day's meals and service.

What the rental includes

  • Private estate and accommodation: Exclusive use during the stay, with 16 en-suite bedrooms for 29 residents
  • Residential services: Air conditioning, fiber Wi-Fi and daily housekeeping
  • Resident breakfasts: Two continental buffet breakfasts plus one light Sunday breakfast, for 29 residents
  • Wedding-day lunch: Take-away buffet lunch for 29 residents
  • Welcome and farewell event locations: Welcome/rehearsal dinner and poolside brunch during the rental without an additional venue fee
  • Wedding-night supervision: A venue representative providing technical supervision
  • Dancefloor sound: Speakers and a sound engineer
  • Restroom service: Attendant service for the rehearsal, wedding day and brunch
  • Brunch safety: Lifeguard supervision for brunch
  • Leisure facilities: Infinity pool, tennis and basketball courts, fitness and squash areas, and children's play facilities

The rental covers a useful part of the resident stay, but not full board or a catered wedding. The breakfast allocation covers three mornings. For a four-night summer stay, the additional breakfast and the way the light Sunday breakfast changes for a Monday–Friday booking still need to be arranged. The included wedding lunch is for the 29 residents, not the entire guest list.

What costs extra

Wedding catering, drinks, the welcome dinner and farewell brunch menus, furniture, flowers and additional technical services sit outside the rental. So do your planner, photographer, videographer, musicians or DJ, guest transportation and the marquee setup. Some of these are essential to hosting the event; their style and scale are optional.

The included sound engineer operates the sound system; you still book the DJ or musicians. Restroom attendance covers staffing, not necessarily any extra restroom hire. Those distinctions are worth keeping in mind when comparing the rental with more fully bundled wedding packages.

For a wedding over 90 guests, combining June's €110,000 rental with the approximate €25,000 starting marquee figure already brings those two items to about €135,000, before food, drinks, design and most other suppliers. The marquee figure is a starting indication, not a fixed-price structure package.

Estimated Wedding Budget

RoamRecs planning estimate, not a venue or vendor quote.

A three-night June 2028 wedding weekend

Each model includes the €110,000 June rental, the wedding reception, a welcome dinner and farewell brunch for the full guest count, professional planning, creative suppliers, local shuttles and a marquee installation allowance.

  • 75 guests: RoamRecs planning range: Approximately €235,000–€350,000.
  • 100 guests: RoamRecs planning range: Approximately €255,000–€385,000.
  • 150 guests: RoamRecs planning range: Approximately €295,000–€465,000.

All models assume 29 guests stay on the estate. The 150-person model depends on a seated and covered design that works at the venue's maximum count. Allow separately for any VAT added to the rental and the other exclusions below.

Inside the 100-person model

  • Three-night June 2028 venue rental: €110,000
  • Wedding food, drinks and service: €30,000–€50,000
  • Welcome dinner and farewell brunch, combined: €15,000–€25,000
  • Wedding planning and coordination: €15,000–€25,000
  • Photography and videography: €10,000–€18,000
  • Flowers and décor: €10,000–€25,000
  • Furniture, tabletop, lighting and additional production: €15,000–€30,000
  • Music and entertainment: €5,000–€12,000
  • Local guest shuttles across the three events: €4,000–€8,000
  • Ceremony, beauty and stationery: €4,000–€8,000
  • Marquee and weather infrastructure allowance: €25,000–€45,000
  • Contingency: 10% of non-rental allowances: €13,300–€24,600
  • Calculated model total: €256,300–€380,600

The wedding catering line allows €300–€500 per guest for food, defined drinks service and event staff. The welcome dinner and farewell brunch together allow €150–€250 per guest, not that amount for each event.

Supplier allowances are intended to cover taxes and service within each amount where possible. The final quotes will determine whether those budgets are sufficient; any excess is additional.

The 75-person model uses the same €25,000–€45,000 weather allowance; the 150-person model uses €30,000–€60,000.

What these budgets leave out

These totals exclude off-property hotel rooms, flights, attire, rings, honeymoon costs, guest gifts and routine resident meals or drinks beyond the named inclusions and three budgeted events. They also exclude extra rental nights, any additional tax on the venue rental, compulsory venue charges not yet priced, refundable damage security, fireworks and spending beyond the stated supplier allowances. This is a working wedding budget, not an all-inclusive ceiling.

Capacity and Event Spaces

How the 150-person maximum works

Tourreau accepts a maximum of 150 event guests. That is the event limit, rather than a seated capacity for every individual setting. Dinner takes place outdoors, with the layout allowing for tables, service, entertainment and dancing. The same guest count also needs to work comfortably under cover.

  • North façade and main approach: A strong arrival and welcome-drink setting before guests move through the estate
  • Fountain in the south park: An outdoor ceremony with the water and garden axis as the backdrop
  • South façade and French garden: Ceremony, outdoor dinner and dancing close to the château; the main setting for the signature façade-backed reception
  • Infinity pool area: Cocktails and farewell brunch around the 250 m² pool; event capacity depends on the surrounding layout
  • Consecrated chapel: A 70-person ceremony setting, not an indoor reception room for the full 150-person wedding
  • Garden and tree-shaded dining areas: Options for a welcome dinner with a less formal feel than the wedding reception
  • Marquee location: The covered alternative, with its position and seated layout arranged around the wedding

The outdoor settings and event sequence above are established uses of the estate. Exact dinner capacities within them depend on the chosen arrangement.

How we would arrange the day

Our starting point would be a fountain ceremony, drinks around the pool and dinner in the French garden against the château. Moving guests to the pool gives the team time to finish the dinner setting without asking everyone to wait beside the work. A ceremony near the façade can work equally well, although reusing that area for dinner makes the changeover more visible.

Long tables suit the geometry of the garden. Multiple shorter runs can keep the château in view while leaving circulation between them. At the upper end of the guest limit, resist filling every attractive gap with a table: guests still need comfortable access to the bar, restrooms and dancefloor.

What Is the Rain Plan at Château de Tourreau?

A marquee backup is required. Tourreau is not a venue where a full garden reception simply moves into an equivalent ballroom. For events above 90 guests, marquee options generally start around €25,000, with the final decision about using the weather setup taken a few days before the event.

Choose the covered layout and reserve the supplier well ahead of that forecast call. The decision a few days out should be whether to use an agreed setup, not how to create one from scratch. Whether the marquee is installed only when needed, and what you still pay if it is not used, depends on the supplier's reservation and cancellation terms.

Ceremony, drinks, dinner and dancing

The covered plan needs space for the ceremony and drinks while dinner tables are already laid, as well as dancing, the bar and the journeys between the château, marquee and restrooms. One tent can serve several parts of the day through separate areas or a changeover. Where a space is reused, guests need somewhere comfortable to gather while it is reset.

Flooring and routes matter as much as a roof. A covered dinner is less reassuring if guests cross wet grass to reach it, or if the caterer cannot move safely around the tables. For cooler dates, the comfort of an evening under cover also depends on enclosure and heating; those choices affect both the look and the price.

A smaller wedding still needs a weather solution

The 90-guest threshold affects only the approximate starting price, not the need for a backup. Smaller weddings still need a separately priced weather solution; 90 is not an indoor seating limit. The chapel can serve a ceremony, but not as a substitute wedding reception room.

Wind deserves its own consideration. The mistral can bring strong, dry winds alongside clear skies, so even a sunny day may require changes to the outdoor setup. The venue and marquee supplier need a design and a plan for when it is safe to use it.

We would compare the outdoor and covered designs side by side. The marquee should feel like another attractive version of a Tourreau wedding, not an expensive compromise left until the week of the celebration.

Accommodation and Where Guests Should Stay

The 29-person house party

Tourreau sleeps 29 people across 16 en-suite bedrooms: 15 in the main château and 14 in the Guest House. The main house has nine suites; the Guest House, also described as the Farm, has seven. Air conditioning, fiber Wi-Fi and daily housekeeping are included.

The main château is the natural base for the couple and immediate family. The Guest House offers a separate group of rooms close to the pool and leisure facilities, giving friends or another family group their own part of the estate. The attraction is the shared stay: getting ready together, seeing the reception setting before other guests arrive and having a quiet breakfast the following morning.

For most weddings, we would concentrate the off-site group in one main hotel and, at most, a second smaller property. A scattered collection of picturesque rentals can turn three straightforward events into a complicated transport schedule.

Novotel Avignon Nord, Sorgues: the practical group base

With 100 rooms, an outdoor pool, restaurant, parking and air conditioning, this is the strongest starting point for a larger room block. The tradeoff is straightforward: guests gain useful hotel infrastructure rather than another historic château setting. Allow approximately 20–30 minutes by road to Tourreau as a planning estimate.

Hostellerie du Château des Fines Roches: a smaller, more atmospheric stay

This Châteauneuf-du-Pape property has 11 rooms, vineyard views, a restaurant, spa and outdoor pool. It suits a smaller group who want the accommodation to feel like part of the Provence trip, rather than the entire overflow list. Allow roughly 25–35 minutes by road, depending on the route and loading time.

Hôtel du Forum, Carpentras: a town-based alternative

The 25-room hotel sits on a quiet street near Carpentras's historic center. It is worth considering for guests who prefer town access and a simpler hotel stay to a second luxury estate. Allow around 15–25 minutes by road to Tourreau.

Avignon: better for a longer sightseeing stay

Avignon is appealing for guests extending their trip, but a city-center base means a longer journey to each event. We would allow 35–50 minutes by road, with more time for hotel access and group loading. July also brings summer festival activity, which is worth factoring into the room block and city-center pickups.

Catering, Vendors and the Party

Catering and drinks

Tourreau works with four affiliated caterers: Helen Traiteur, Frédéric Bernard, L’Éveil des Papilles and Brunch Me Up. Their proposals are the starting point for the wedding, welcome evening and brunch, with menus and staffing tailored to each event. Flexibility to appoint a different caterer remains an open point.

The useful comparison is the complete event service: arrival drinks, dinner, dessert, wine, the evening bar, late food and staffing hours. A lower menu price is not necessarily a lower total once service, drinks and equipment are added. The same applies to dietary requirements and cultural menus: address them at the proposal stage, not after selecting the caterer on appearance alone.

The drinks plan deserves the same attention as the menu. Minimum spends, outside wine, corkage and the option of a separate bar supplier still need to be settled; each can change the final food-and-drink bill.

Planning and production

A professional wedding planner is required. The venue's technical representative and sound engineer support the property and the party, but they do not replace the person managing your suppliers, timeline, guest transport and weather decisions.

For the couple, the advantage of a good plan is freedom to enjoy the stay. The planner should handle the operational detail behind a natural-looking transition from ceremony to poolside drinks to dinner, particularly when the same garden area is used more than once.

Music until 3 a.m. at weekends

Weekend music is permitted until 3 a.m.; midweek events finish music at 2 a.m. A 90 dB limit at the dancefloor is monitored by an on-site technician. The rental includes speakers and a sound engineer.

Live bands are welcome. Share those requirements with the band when discussing its setup. The best fit is entertainment that keeps its energy within the sound limit, rather than relying on volume alone.

Bar service and guest departures need their own timings alongside the music finish. We would offer an earlier shuttle for guests leaving after dinner and a final departure around the end of the party.

Ceremony Options

A symbolic ceremony in the gardens

For many international couples, the simplest arrangement is a legal marriage at home followed by a personal ceremony at Tourreau. The fountain, south façade and gardens provide distinct outdoor settings, with the choice driven by the desired backdrop and guest route.

The consecrated chapel

The estate's chapel has a 70-person ceremony capacity. It offers a more intimate setting than the formal garden, but will not hold the full guest list for a 100- or 150-person wedding. A religious ceremony needs separate arrangements with the relevant church, including permission and an officiant.

A legally binding marriage in France

A short château stay is not enough to qualify for a French civil wedding. Local marriage generally requires a connection through a couple's or parent's domicile or residence; the residence route requires at least one continuous month by the publication of banns. Couples who are both foreign nationals living outside France face additional restrictions, so eligibility needs to be discussed with the relevant mairie, or town hall. In France, the civil marriage must take place before a religious marriage.

Other Practical Considerations

Pool use, children and access

The pool, sports facilities and children's play area make Tourreau attractive for a relaxed family stay. Lifeguard supervision is included for brunch, not for every swim during the rental. Children and pool access need a clear supervision plan during both the events and the quieter hours of the stay.

For guests with limited mobility, the key is the complete route: vehicle drop-off, ceremony seating, poolside drinks, dinner, restrooms and the assigned bedroom. A short journey across a historic estate can still involve steps, gravel or uneven ground. Suitable access should be designed into the preferred layout rather than addressed after tables and marquees are positioned.

Fireworks and special effects

Fireworks may be possible with venue approval, subject to its calendar, but cost extra. Fire risk, weather and the operator's requirements also affect whether a display can go ahead. Candles, other open flames and special effects need separate approval.

The setup and removal of furniture, lighting and the marquee need to fit around the stay. Extra production days before arrival or after departure are not automatically included in the rental and may add cost.

Getting There and Transportation

Tourreau's address is 787 Route de Tourreau, 84260 Sarrians. For most groups, the useful arrival choices are Marseille Provence Airport and Avignon TGV station, followed by a booked road transfer.

  • Marseille Provence Airport, MRS: Approximately 60–80 minutes
  • Avignon TGV station: Approximately 35–50 minutes
  • Avignon city-center hotels: Approximately 35–50 minutes, before any extra loading or access delay
  • Carpentras hotels: Approximately 15–25 minutes

For rail arrivals, make sure the pickup matches the station: Avignon TGV and Avignon Centre are different locations. Direct trains from Paris Gare de Lyon to Avignon TGV can take roughly 2 hours 40 minutes, depending on the service and travel date.

Guests staying at the château can manage a wedding-only weekend without cars if their arrivals and departures are arranged. Those planning independent countryside outings may prefer a rental car. Off-site guests should have organized transport for all three hosted events, not just the wedding reception.

The estate has on-site parking and helipad access. For guest shuttles, the venue and transport operator still need to settle the vehicle size, turning space and loading point. Those details will help shape the hotel pickups and timetable.

Best Time for a Château de Tourreau Wedding

June would be our first choice for an outdoor-led celebration; early May is the clearest lower-rental alternative. Later September can also be attractive, but the saving should be weighed against the weather setup rather than treated as a like-for-like summer discount.

  • April: Average daytime high: 19.3°C. Average monthly rainfall: 63.0 mm.
  • May: Average daytime high: 23.6°C. Average monthly rainfall: 60.1 mm.
  • June: Average daytime high: 28.1°C. Average monthly rainfall: 37.4 mm.
  • July: Average daytime high: 31.1°C. Average monthly rainfall: 38.4 mm.
  • August: Average daytime high: 30.8°C. Average monthly rainfall: 40.2 mm.
  • September: Average daytime high: 25.5°C. Average monthly rainfall: 105.3 mm.
  • October: Average daytime high: 20.3°C. Average monthly rainfall: 94.5 mm.

May and June

May's rental rises sharply from one listed weekend to the next, so “a May wedding” is not one price category. May 5–8 costs €60,000, whereas May 26–29 is €90,000. June reaches €110,000, with warmer typical conditions and a lower monthly rainfall normal. We would compare the precise date, not just the season label.

July and August

Peak summer combines the highest weekend rental with the longer four-night stay. The pool becomes a major part of the experience, but ceremony timing, shade and drinking water deserve real thought. Average highs are around 31°C, and individual hot spells can be more demanding. Only one wedding is accepted in each month, so flexibility over weekday versus weekend does not create unlimited choice.

September, April and October

Early September costs the same €110,000 as June; September 15–18 falls to €95,000 and September 22–25 to €85,000. April 21–24 at €50,000 and October at €60,000 offer much lower rentals. The tradeoff is a wedding more dependent on a comfortable covered setup, especially after dark. Regional September and October rainfall totals are appreciably higher than June's; monthly totals are not the probability of rain on a particular day.

In every season, the weather plan should account for the mistral as well as rain.

Building the Wedding Weekend

For a standard Friday–Monday stay, we would keep the format simple.

Friday: arrive, settle the resident group and bring everyone together for a welcome dinner in a garden or tree-shaded setting. A deliberately relaxed first evening makes the formal wedding reception feel different rather than repeating the same event twice.

Saturday: use the included resident lunch during preparations, followed by the ceremony, poolside cocktails and dinner in the French garden. Leave enough of the evening after dinner for the party rather than making every speech, course and performance run late.

Sunday: a slower poolside brunch, with the included lifeguard supervision, then unstructured time for the residents. The light Sunday breakfast and the catered wedding-group brunch are different meals.

Monday: breakfast and departure, with checkout and supplier collections planned around each other. Agree the departure time rather than expecting access until Monday evening.

For a four-night summer weekend, use the additional day to let close family settle in or spend time together. There is no need to turn every available day into another fully produced event. Extra meals and any additional celebrations still need their own budget and arrangement.

Is Château de Tourreau the Right Fit?

The deciding questions are fairly simple: do you love the garden wedding enough to fund an attractive covered version; are you comfortable keeping only 29 guests on the estate; and does the chosen date leave enough of the budget for the celebration itself?

For a 100-person wedding, look at the rental, marquee and catering prices together. The date is usually the strongest way to reduce the fixed cost, while the hotel choice shapes the experience for the other 71 guests.

In your first conversation with the venue, focus on the tax-inclusive total and payment schedule, the full-day covered layout at your count, and how your preferred catering and music plans fit the weekend. Those answers will tell you more than the maximum capacity alone.

Similar Provence Wedding Venues to Compare

Château La Tour Vaucros: more accommodation and dedicated reception rooms

This is the practical comparison when Tourreau's outdoor dependence or small sleeping inventory gives you pause. La Tour Vaucros advertises accommodation for up to 49 people, two reception rooms and a Grand Reception Room that can be arranged with a dancefloor. Compare the exact seated design and private-use package, but it is a more event-infrastructure-led proposition than Tourreau.

Château Martinay: another private château, with a different garden character

Near Carpentras, Martinay offers a cypress alley, courtyard, southern terrace and orangery, with 12 rooms for up to 24 people in its wedding offering. It is worth comparing for the style of the estate, rather than as a solution to Tourreau's limited on-site lodging. The cypress alley and courtyard give the day a different setting from Tourreau's formal garden and pool sequence.

Château de Fonscolombe: the hotel-based alternative

Fonscolombe, near Aix-en-Provence, has 50 rooms and suites and offers private hire for weddings. It is the stronger comparison when you want more guests within one hospitality operation rather than a small house-party group and a larger hotel overflow. Compare the actual room commitment, exclusivity and reception spaces, not just the number of bedrooms.

Keep the shortlist in one place

Save Tourreau alongside the other Provence venues you are considering in RoamRecs. The most useful comparison is the whole weekend: the required stay, rooms for your guests, a reception you would enjoy in either weather and the total cost of making it happen.

Date-specific rental examples are €50,000 for April 21–24, €60,000–€90,000 across the listed May weekends and €110,000 for June weekends. July/August costs €135,000 for a four-night weekend or €110,000 for four nights midweek. These are rental totals, not complete wedding prices. A 100-person June wedding is approximately €255,000–€385,000 in the RoamRecs planning model, including the marquee allowance but excluding any additional venue-rental tax and the other exclusions above.
What is the minimum stay?
Standard weekend weddings require four days and three nights. July and August use five days and four nights, either Thursday–Monday or Monday–Friday. Only one wedding is accepted in July and one in August.
How many wedding guests can Tourreau host?
The event maximum is 150 guests. The dinner and marquee layouts need to work for your guest count, including room for service, entertainment and dancing. The limit does not give every individual space 150 seats.
How many people can stay on the estate?
There are 16 en-suite bedrooms for 29 people: 15 in the main château and 14 in the Guest House. At a 100-person wedding, 71 guests therefore need other accommodation.
What happens if it rains?
A marquee backup is required, including for smaller weddings. For events above 90 guests, options generally start around €25,000. The weather decision comes a few days before the event; the layout, supplier reservation and costs need to be arranged earlier.
Are the welcome dinner and brunch included?
Their venue use is included during the rental without an additional location fee. The meals, drinks, furniture and event setup are separate. Restroom attendance covers the rehearsal, wedding and brunch, and brunch lifeguard supervision is included.
Is a wedding planner required, and can we choose our caterer?
A planner is required for full coordination. Tourreau works with Helen Traiteur, Frédéric Bernard, L’Éveil des Papilles and Brunch Me Up. Whether you can appoint a different caterer still needs to be settled.
What time does the music stop?
Music is permitted until 3 a.m. for weekend events and 2 a.m. midweek, with a monitored 90 dB dancefloor limit. Speakers and a sound engineer are included; entertainers are booked separately.
Can we use the chapel?
The consecrated chapel has a 70-person ceremony capacity, with religious permission and officiant arrangements handled separately. It is a ceremony setting, not an indoor wedding reception room.
Is VAT included in the rental prices?
VAT inclusion still needs to be settled in the final rental price, along with any compulsory additions. Any VAT added to the venue rental sits outside the RoamRecs planning budgets above.
