The New York bar each club's supporters claim, from Arsenal to Wolves, plus the best general soccer bars in every borough.
Ask where to watch soccer in New York and you'll get pointed to a sports bar. Ask where to watch your team and the answer gets a lot more specific. Arsenal supporters have seven pubs between Manhattan and Brooklyn. Liverpool fans have been filling the same East Village bar since 2004. Newcastle, Everton, Wolves, Real Madrid and Rangers each have a room that's unmistakably theirs.
This guide goes team by team, then finishes with the bars we'd send anyone to, whoever they support. Every pairing was checked in October 2026 against the supporters' group, the club or the bar.

Early kickoffs: bars in New York can't pour before 8am Monday to Saturday or 10am on Sunday. A 7:30am Saturday match starts with coffee.
How early to show up: for a derby or a title decider, an hour at least. Arsenal's Fort Greene pub was full two hours before kickoff the day the 2026 title was won.

Brooklyn has its own official club at The Monro Pub. A separate group, the New York Kopites, watches at Carragher's downtown.

Early kickoffs and matchday tips
The 8am rule. Bars in New York can't serve alcohol before 8am Monday to Saturday or 10am on Sunday. Plenty open earlier for the 7:30am kickoffs and run on coffee and breakfast until the taps come on.
Who opens early. Football Factory at Legends at 7am on Saturdays. Smithfield Hall at 7:30am on Saturdays and 8am on Sundays. Peter Dillon's 36th at 7am for 7:30 kickoffs. Banter before any kickoff. 11th Street Bar 60 to 90 minutes before Liverpool play.
Get there early for the big ones. Derbies, title deciders and Champions League knockouts fill the single-club pubs long before kickoff. Smithfield Hall and Rivercrest take reservations. Peter Dillon's and The Monro don't.
Check before you travel. Supporters' groups change bars, sometimes in the middle of a season. The group's own social accounts are the last word.
