A good reservation should give you the holiday you actually want: turkey and cornbread stuffing without a single dish to wash, a long lunch with grandparents and kids, or a steak dinner for two while everyone else argues over the carving knife.
Dallas-Fort Worth has room for all of those plans. Our picks run from a $40 family-style dinner in Irving to a holiday feast 17 floors above the Dallas skyline, with a French bistro, neighborhood buffets, downtown Fort Worth dining rooms and resort ballrooms in between. The trick is choosing the right kind of meal before choosing the restaurant.
Every restaurant below has announced Thanksgiving service for 2026. A few have released the date before the final price or menu; we've marked those where they matter. An announced meal doesn't guarantee an open table, so follow the booking link before planning around a particular time.
Thanksgiving is Thursday, November 26, 2026.

Best Thanksgiving restaurants in Dallas
Uptown and downtown hold most of the set-course meals and hotel buffets. Perry's, Truluck's and The Capital Grille also serve Thanksgiving at their suburban branches; each card names the other locations.

Fearing's
2121 McKinney Ave, Dallas, TX 75201, USA
When Thanksgiving is the main event of the weekend, start here. The three-course menu gives turkey its place while leaving room for steak and seafood, useful when your family takes the holiday seriously but can't agree on dinner. Lunch suits an unhurried afternoon; the evening seating feels more dressed up. Details: November 26, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 5 to 8:30 p.m. Adults $160; children 12 and under $55. Credit card required; 48-hour cancellation policy. The Ritz-Carlton, Dallas.

The Finch Dallas
5307 E Mockingbird Ln Ste 150, Dallas, TX 75206, USA
A strong case for keeping Thanksgiving simple: soup or salad, herb-roasted turkey with stuffing, mashed potatoes and a generous run of sides, then pumpkin cheesecake. Hot honey Brussels sprouts give the plate some personality, and the regular menu is available all day for anyone who doesn't want the turkey dinner. Details: November 26. Thanksgiving meal $49 adults, $24 children; children's age cutoff and holiday hours not yet posted, so confirm when reserving.

Mercat Bistro
2501 N Harwood St Suite 225, Dallas, TX 75201, USA
A couple or small family that wants Thanksgiving to feel like a restaurant outing will do well here. Brunch makes room for quiche and croissant eggs Benedict alongside a turkey plate; dinner brings turkey, petite filet and Parisian-style gnocchi. Separate menus and prices for each. Details: Three-course brunch 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., $75 adults, $30 children 12 and under. Three-course dinner 5 to 10 p.m., $85 adults, $35 children 12 and under. Harwood District.

Saint Ann
2501 N Harwood St Suite 225, Dallas, TX 75201, USA
For the family whose Thanksgiving works best in the middle of the day. The three-course brunch mixes holiday traditions with brunch choices and leaves the evening open, and it lands well below the larger hotel spreads. Details: November 26, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Adults $60; children 12 and under $25. Credit card required to reserve. Harwood District, separate from Mercat next door.

Stillwell's
2575 McKinnon St, Dallas, TX 75201, USA
Some tables need a place where the turkey enthusiast and the steak lover can both be happy. Stillwell's keeps its a la carte menu for the holiday and adds turkey roulade with stuffing, butterscotch heirloom carrots, Texas pecans, gravy and cranberry mostarda. Details: Thanksgiving service announced for November 26; the holiday feature's price and hours haven't been published yet. Hotel Swexan.

The Adolphus

Details: November 26, 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Adults $145 including sparkling wine and valet; children 12 and under $50.

The Crescent Club
200 Crescent Ct #17, Dallas, TX 75201, USA
The 17th-floor setting gives this meal an obvious sense of occasion, and Thanksgiving is open to nonmembers. A window table is a request, not a guarantee; choose it for the overall setting and the meal. Details: November 26, 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Adults $155; ages 6 to 12 $65; under 6 free. Hotel Crescent Court, 17th floor.

Asador
2222 N Stemmons Fwy, Dallas, TX 75207, USA
Half the table wants an omelet and the other half has been waiting all year for stuffing. Asador's buffet handles both: herb-roasted turkey and a New York strip carving station on the holiday side, breakfast dishes, mac and cheese and a cheese display rounding it out. The early window suits families who want the main meal before the afternoon gets away. Details: November 26, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., final seating 1:30 p.m. Adults $90; ages 6 to 12 $30. Two-hour table limit. Renaissance Dallas Hotel.

Thanksgiving at The Westin Galleria Dallas
13340 Dallas Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75240, USA
A ballroom Thanksgiving with the space and buffet format that suit a larger North Dallas gathering. Fried turkey and a dessert station are among the draws. Details: November 26, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thanksgiving menu $59; prime rib special $59 from 4 to 9 p.m. Check the holiday menu for children's options.

Truluck's (Dallas)
2401 McKinney Ave, Dallas, TX 75201, USA

The final holiday menu and pricing are still to come, so check before counting on a traditional turkey dinner. Details: November 26, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Holiday menu and prices not yet published.

The Capital Grille (Dallas)
500 Crescent Ct, Dallas, TX 75201, USA

714 Main St, Fort Worth, TX 76102, USA
For a holiday dinner with real restaurant service, il Modo is the most appealing choice in Fort Worth. Emilia's
3300 Camp Bowie Blvd, Fort Worth, TX 76107, USA

A few favorites still worth watching
These restaurants haven't published enough 2026 information to make a firm plan. Keep them in mind if you're still deciding, but wait for this year's details before relying on an old holiday menu.
- Kalachandji's, Dallas: our vegetarian restaurant to watch, with tofu turkey and holiday sides among its past Thanksgiving offerings. 2026 menu, hours and prices still need confirmation.
- Lucile's and B&B Butchers, Fort Worth: two worthwhile places to check as more holiday plans appear. 2026 Thanksgiving details are still to come.
- The Mansion Restaurant and Dakota's, Dallas: two fine-dining options worth watching as the holiday approaches. 2026 menus and prices still need confirmation.
- 97 West at Hotel Drover, Fort Worth: its November 26 dinner is announced but was fully reserved when we checked. Contact the restaurant about cancellations; don't count on a table opening up.
Three things to check before you book
Restaurant meal or ballroom event? For a seated meal with more individual choice, start with The Finch, il Modo, Seasons 52, Stillwell's or The Capital Grille, which all allow regular-menu ordering. Fearing's, Mercat and Saint Ann suit a set-course occasion. For a bigger spread, Blue Mesa and Verf's are the relaxed options; Hotel Vin, the Westin Galleria, the Westin Southlake, Omni Las Colinas, Omni Fort Worth and Omni PGA Frisco hold their meals in ballrooms, which is a different kind of afternoon.
Check the full bill. Children's age bands vary from place to place, and several hotels add a service charge or automatic gratuity on top of the listed price. If a published age band skips your child's age, ask before paying.
Book the holiday meal itself. Select November 26 and look for the Thanksgiving experience, not the everyday menu or standard brunch price. Read the arrival time, seating length and cancellation policy before confirming, especially for prepaid meals and large parties.
