A good Thanksgiving takeout order leaves you with the fun parts: setting the table, opening the wine and arguing over the last slice of pie. Around Dallas–Fort Worth that can mean a classic turkey dinner, a smoked bird from a barbecue joint, a Cajun fried turkey or a catered spread for the whole office.

If you want the traditional spread, start with Celebration or Central Market. Cotton Patch is the value pick, and True Texas BBQ and Hurtado cover the barbecue side. For a hot meal on Thanksgiving Day itself, Perry's and participating True Texas BBQ locations are the two that don't send you home to reheat.

Thanksgiving is Thursday, November 26, 2026. Prices are before tax unless noted, and delivery or service charges may apply. Where a kitchen hasn't posted its 2026 dates yet, we say so. We'll recheck this guide once Celebration and Perry's open ordering in late October and again before the first November 18 cutoff.

The best complete Thanksgiving dinners in Dallas–Fort Worth

These are the orders that cover the whole table: turkey, sides, gravy and rolls, with dessert either included or a click away. A few also work for one or two people. Eatzi's, the market most Dallas families think of first, hadn't opened its holiday shop at this update; check it before you commit elsewhere.

Central Market

Central Market

5750 E Lovers Ln, Dallas, TX 75206, USA

One grocery order can settle the whole menu: a turkey-breast dinner for a smaller table or a whole-turkey meal, then the individual dishes your family would notice missing. The 2026 promotion takes 15% off select chef-made Thanksgiving meals reserved by November 1. Pick your DFW store before comparing prices or pickup slots. Details: Heat at home. In-store pickup only, $50 minimum. Dallas, Plano, Southlake and Fort Worth stores via the store selector; sizes, prices and pickup times appear after you choose a store.

Celebration

Celebration

4503 W Lovers Ln, Dallas, TX 75209, USA

Rosemary-roasted or Cajun fried turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole and rolls. If your table expects Thanksgiving to look like Thanksgiving, this is the Dallas order. The rosemary turkey-breast feast is $200 for eight or $350 for fourteen; whole roasted turkey feasts start at $225 for eight. Gravy and cranberry relish included; add a $30 pie for dessert. Details: Picked up cold. Ordering opens October 26; pickup November 24–25. The stuffing contains sausage.

No Worries Catering

No Worries Catering

1848 E Rosemeade Pkwy, Carrollton, TX 75007, USA

Dessert is in the box here, which is rarer than it should be. Roast turkey breast, salad, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, dressing, gravy, cranberry sauce and rolls, with chocolate pecan pie or caramel apple bread pudding to finish. Small dinner $175 for up to six with one dessert; large $325 for up to twelve with two. Details: Pickup Wednesday, November 25, 9:30 a.m. to noon only. Oven-ready containers. Order by phone or email.

Cotton Patch Cafe

Cotton Patch Cafe

420 FM3040 Ste. 100, Lewisville, TX 75067, USA

$99 for up to six or $179 for up to twelve: turkey breast or ham, three sides of your choosing, plus dressing, gravy, cranberry sauce, rolls and a dessert. The side choices make it more flexible than a fixed box, and dessert being included matters when you compare totals. Details: Fully cooked, picked up cold. Pickup November 18–25 by 8 p.m.; order at least a day ahead and by November 24. Closed Thanksgiving Day. Participating DFW locations; order through the location selector.

Bread Winners

Bread Winners

3301 McKinney Ave, Dallas, TX 75204, USA

The whole roasted turkey meal is $171 for six to eight, with pecan cornbread stuffing, leek mashed potatoes, sage gravy, cranberry-orange sauce and rolls. The à la carte sides are why smaller gatherings should look here: pints serve two, larger pans serve six or twelve, so a potluck can grab green chile mac and cheese or maple Brussels sprouts without a giant pan. Details: Whole-turkey orders need 72 hours' notice. Dessert extra. Uptown (3301 McKinney Ave) or NorthPark (8687 N Central Expy); confirm pickup or delivery times and whether your order needs reheating.

Perry's Steakhouse

Perry's Steakhouse

2100 Olive St Ste 100, Dallas, TX 75201, USA

The splurge for a hot dinner on Thanksgiving Day itself. Soup or salad, smoked turkey breast, potatoes, green beans, sausage-sage dressing, cranberry relish and bread. Individual meal $59, family meal for four $189, plus a mandatory 15% to-go charge ($67.85 and $217.35 before tax). Pumpkin cheesecake extra. Details: Orders open October 28. Cold pickup November 25; hot pickup November 26, 11 a.m. to close. Also Frisco (2440 Parkwood Blvd) and Grapevine (2400 W State Hwy 114); reserve a location and time.

Chef Point

Chef Point

5220 State Hwy 121, Colleyville, TX 76034, USA

The $27.99 individual turkey dinner, with mashed potatoes, green beans and cornbread-sage stuffing, is the best answer here for a solo diner or a couple. For a bigger table, the Cajun smoked whole turkey is $159 and serves twelve to fifteen, with sides and dessert separate. No order minimum. Details: Order proteins by November 22 and sides by November 24. Final pickup November 25; no Thanksgiving Day pickup. Some add-ons need baking.

Feastivities

Feastivities

3637 W Vickery Blvd, Fort Worth, TX 76107, USA

The kitchen handles the turkey and you build the rest. The cooked boneless turkey breast is $130, serves eight to ten and is ready to slice; add dressing, vegetables and a pie in whatever quantities fit. Watch which turkey goes in the cart: the separate $65 whole herbed bird is raw. Details: Order by November 18 at 2 p.m., the earliest cutoff in this guide. Pickup November 25, 10 a.m.–1 p.m. Expect a confirmation call after the online form.

Fleming's

Fleming's

7250 Dallas Pkwy Suite 110, Plano, TX 75024, USA

A dressier Thanksgiving at home, and the one to pick if turkey isn't everyone's first choice. The Full Spread Bundle serves six from $265 with roasted turkey breast or sliced beef tenderloin; a $135 sides bundle serves six if you're keeping your own main. Details: Catering window November 20–29, pickup or delivery; Thanksgiving Day pickup varies by restaurant. Confirm local price and heating instructions.

Cowboy Chicken

Cowboy Chicken

5315 Greenville Ave #125, Dallas, TX 75206, USA

Turkey, mashed potatoes, green beans, stuffing, rolls and peach cobbler, with smaller family and individual options for a modest gathering. The home feast and the hot catering menu are different orders. Details: Holiday feast needs 72 hours' notice, pickup November 25 or earlier. Closed Thanksgiving Day. Participating DFW locations; select yours for current sizes and prices.

Cracker Barrel

Cracker Barrel

1251 N Watson Rd, Arlington, TX 76006, USA

The broadest pickup window on this list, which makes it the pick for a family Thanksgiving the weekend before or after. The smaller heat-and-serve dinner feeds four to six; the larger feast feeds eight to ten and adds mashed potatoes and two pies. The smaller dinner doesn't include pies. Details: 2026 pickup November 21–29 with at least 12 hours' notice. Refrigerated; use within 72 hours. Participating DFW locations; check yours for pricing.

Smoked turkey, fried turkey and barbecue Thanksgiving orders in DFW

The Texas version of Thanksgiving: a smoked or fried bird, maybe a brisket next to it, and sides that lean toward mac and cheese and creamed corn. Two local favorites, Pecan Lodge and Panther City BBQ, have holiday menus up but hadn't posted clear 2026 pickup dates at this update. Pecan Lodge's displayed menu lists a three-pound sliced turkey breast at $75, picked up at its West Commerce commissary rather than the Deep Ellum restaurant; Panther City has announced 2026 preorders through its holiday shop. Check both before you plan around them.

True Texas BBQ at H-E-B

True Texas BBQ at H-E-B

4800 Main St, Frisco, TX 75033, USA

The strongest barbecue bundle for the money. The $99 turkey-breast meal serves about four to six with mashed potatoes, banana pudding, gravy, cranberry sauce and tea. The $169 whole-turkey meal serves about eight to twelve with mashed potatoes, cornbread casserole, peach cobbler, gravy, cranberry sauce and tea. Neither lists rolls or a green vegetable. Details: Holiday menu November 1–December 27. Order and pay at least 72 hours ahead. Hot or cold pickup; Thanksgiving Day 9–11 a.m. Participating True Texas BBQ restaurants inside H-E-B; menu varies by location.

Hurtado Barbecue

Hurtado Barbecue

205 E Front St, Arlington, TX 76011, USA

Smoked turkey breast, then the sides you'll actually fight over: Hatch mac and cheese, street corn. Brisket for anyone who'd skip the bird. Turkey breast $78.99, serves four to five; family-size sides $41.99, serve ten to twelve, so order enough turkey first, then pick your pans. Details: Order by November 22. Pickup November 25 only, by 6 p.m., cold for reheating. Arlington, Dallas (900 S Harwood St), Fort Worth (1116 8th Ave) or Mansfield (226 N Walnut Creek Dr).

Lockhart Smokehouse

Lockhart Smokehouse

400 W Davis St, Dallas, TX 75208, USA

Everything here comes frozen, which is either the catch or the point depending on your fridge. Three-pound turkey breast $75 (serves four to six); twelve-pound whole turkey $115 (eight to ten); half-pans of sides $50, including smoked creamed corn and cheesy potato casserole. The order for when the meat is your contribution. Details: Order by November 20 at 5 p.m. Pickup November 23–25, 11 a.m.–5 p.m., Bishop Arts or Plano (1026 E 15th St). Both closed Thanksgiving Day.

The Cajun Turkey Company

The Cajun Turkey Company

708 Valley Ridge Cir Ste 22, Lewisville, TX 75057, USA

A Cajun fried turkey without buying the fryer. Spicy and lightly seasoned whole fried turkeys are $88.95 in the current catalog; build the rest of dinner around the bird. Fully cooked and flash-frozen, so it needs thawing and reheating. Details: Local pickup in Lewisville; choose an available date when ordering. Thanksgiving-specific pickup hours still pending. Fried in peanut oil; lists milk, soy and wheat.

Soulman's Bar-B-Que

Soulman's Bar-B-Que

691 E Interstate 30, Rockwall, TX 75087, USA

A generous, familiar meal for ten to twelve in one order. The $214.99 traditional holiday meal comes with turkey or ham, dressing, potatoes, green beans, gravy, cranberry sauce and rolls; dessert extra. A $214.99 barbecue meal for the same group is built around brisket and sausage with mac and cheese, beans and rolls. Details: Heat-and-serve, picked up before Thanksgiving. Locations close at 6 p.m. November 25 and are closed November 26. Multiple DFW locations; select a branch for availability.

Dickey's Barbecue Pit

Dickey's Barbecue Pit

4610 N Central Expy, Dallas, TX 75206, USA

The Dallas-born chain's heat-and-serve holiday feasts are the easy barbecue order when you don't want to drive across the metroplex. The Complete Feast serves ten to twelve with your choice of smoked turkey, Cajun turkey, spiral-cut ham or prime rib plus cornbread dressing, gravy, baked potato casserole, green beans with bacon and a dozen rolls; the Dinner Feast (eight to twelve) keeps the protein, dressing, gravy and rolls. The ready-to-eat Holiday Big Yellow Box feeds up to twelve with sliced turkey or ham and the same sides. Preorder a Complete Feast by November 5 and a pumpkin pie is included free. Details: Heat-and-serve, picked up cold; preorders open October 5 and quantities are first-come, first-served. Participating DFW locations; this pin is the Central Expressway and Henderson store. Prices are set by location, so check yours online, in the app or through the catering line.

Thanksgiving delivery, catering for a crowd, and pies in DFW

For hosts who'd rather skip the pickup trip, groups too big for a family box, and the dessert run. LS Catering in Justin posts a $425 holiday package for twenty to twenty-five (smoked turkey breast, dressing, gravy, mashed potatoes, green beans, cranberry sauce, rolls and banana pudding or peach cobbler) with pickup, drop-off or full service; confirm the 2026 price and date in a written quote. Honey Baked Ham and your local Whole Foods are the grocery fallbacks for a ham centerpiece or last-minute sides. Bonnell's and Local Foods Kitchen take Fort Worth catering inquiries, but their regular menus aren't confirmed 2026 Thanksgiving packages.

Beyond the Box

Beyond the Box

2544 W Commerce St, Dallas, TX 75212, USA

The one scheduled home-delivery option in this guide. Four-person minimum; assemble your own dinner from turkey or ham, vegetables, stuffing, rolls and desserts. The turkey entrée is $14.95 per person and that's only the main course; sides, bread, dessert and a $35 delivery fee add up, so price the whole menu first. Details: Delivery service, not a pickup point. 2026 delivery Wednesday, November 25, 9 a.m.–3 p.m., cold in oven-safe containers. Confirm your address is covered.

Ferah Catering

Ferah Catering

2202 Heads Ln, Carrollton, TX 75006, USA

For an office or community gathering that needs real catering. The posted Thanksgiving menu starts at $20 per person with a fifty-person minimum: turkey breast with bourbon-cranberry glaze, Southwest cornbread stuffing, smoked-cheddar potatoes, green bean casserole and salad. That's a $1,000 food subtotal before tax, delivery or service; rolls, pie and ham are extra. Emporium Pies

Frequently asked questions

Can I pick up a hot Thanksgiving dinner in Dallas on Thanksgiving Day?
Yes, from two places. Perry's offers hot, ready-to-serve pickup on November 26 from 11 a.m. Participating True Texas BBQ restaurants offer hot or cold pickup that morning from 9 to 11. Reserve a time for either. Nearly everything else in this guide is picked up before Thanksgiving and needs oven time, even when every component is already cooked.
What's the best Thanksgiving takeout in DFW for one or two people?
Chef Point's $27.99 individual turkey dinner or Perry's $59 individual meal ($67.85 with its to-go charge). Cowboy Chicken's smaller family options work if you want leftovers. A turkey breast plus a couple of small sides also works, but a three-pound breast is still a lot for two.
Who delivers Thanksgiving dinner in Dallas, and who can serve it?
Beyond the Box is the clearest scheduled home delivery, on November 25 with a $35 fee. Bread Winners and Fleming's also deliver, subject to their holiday schedules. For an event that needs setup or staff, request a proposal from Ferah or LS Catering and ask whether it includes serving utensils, warmers, setup, service and cleanup.
What should I confirm before paying for Thanksgiving takeout?
The exact pickup address and window, whether the food arrives hot, cold, frozen or raw, and the total after fees. Ask how much oven space and reheating time the order needs. If you're buying a complete dinner, check that gravy, cranberry sauce, rolls and dessert are actually in it. Those are the gaps that send someone to the store on Thanksgiving morning.
