A great Las Vegas buffet should feel like an opportunity, not an endurance test. You should want that second plate, rather than feel you owe it to an $85 ticket.

For one big buffet meal, start with Wynn. Choose Bacchanal when variety is the point, Wicked Spoon for brunch, and Palms when lobster is the priority. South Point is the classic casino buffet at a gentler price. The rest of this guide covers what those headliners don't: a Chinese seafood feast, a relaxed hotel breakfast, a Downtown bargain and an excellent-value Indian lunch.

Which service you book matters as much as where you go. A weekday lunch, a Sunday brunch and a seafood dinner can be three very different meals at the same restaurant.

A note on MGM buffets: MGM Grand's buffet closed in May 2026, and MGM is reportedly winding down its last three, at Bellagio, Excalibur and The Cosmopolitan (Wicked Spoon), by mid-2027. All three were open at our last update. If one of them is central to your plans, check before you go.

Splurge-Worthy Buffets in Las Vegas

These are the big seafood, lobster and carving-station meals worth building a day around. Most run $80–$100 a person.

The Buffet at Wynn

The Buffet at Wynn

3131 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA

Our pick for one big buffet meal: 16 live cooking stations, smaller batches and a dining room with a real sense of occasion. The seafood dinner starts at 1 p.m., so an early seafood meal doesn't mean waiting for evening. Brunch 8 a.m.–1 p.m., dinner 1–9 p.m. Kids 3–9 pay half, 2 and under eat free. Unlimited lobster is a separate upgrade.

Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace

Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace

3570 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA

The pick when you don't want to choose: roast meats, seafood, dumplings, barbecue and desserts, with the smoked brisket a standout. Wynn is the more focused splurge; this is the wider feast. The 9–11 a.m. weekend early brunch ($69.99) is the cheaper way in but skips the crab. A reservation holds a place in line, not a table.

A.Y.C.E. Buffet at Palms

A.Y.C.E. Buffet at Palms

4321 W Flamingo Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89103, USA

Check the calendar here: Wednesday and Thursday are all-you-can-eat lobster nights, and Friday is prime rib and snow crab ($52.99). For a mixed group, the regular dinner is the smarter buy. Lobster nights run 3–10 p.m. and require a reservation, with a 90-minute limit.

Genting Palace Feast

Genting Palace Feast

3000 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA

A proper Chinese seafood feast rather than a little of every cuisine: chilled seafood, dim sum, roast meats, supreme-stock lobster, Peking duck and siu mai. Served Wednesday–Sunday, 5–10 p.m. Dress is business casual.

Anthony's Sunday Brunch at M Resort

Anthony's Sunday Brunch at M Resort

12300 S Las Vegas Blvd, Henderson, NV 89044, USA

A steakhouse that turns Sunday into all-you-can-eat lobster, crab legs, prime rib and sushi, so you're paying for the expensive things rather than hundreds of options. Worth it for a celebratory Sunday, especially if you're staying in Henderson. Sundays 11 a.m.–1:30 p.m.; kids 4–10 are $49. Reserve the brunch specifically and book ahead.

Best Brunch Buffets in Las Vegas

Five brunches, from a full buffet to a quiet hotel breakfast. Wicked Spoon, Bellagio and Excalibur are MGM buffets, which are reportedly closing by mid-2027, so check they're still open before you plan around one.

Wicked Spoon at The Cosmopolitan

Wicked Spoon at The Cosmopolitan

The Chelsea Tower, 3708 S Las Vegas Blvd Level 2, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA

Our brunch pick. Dishes come individually portioned, and carved meats, seafood, short rib and bone marrow make it substantial enough to be the day's main meal. Weekdays split into breakfast (8–10:30 a.m.) and lunch (10:30 a.m.–2 p.m.); there's no dinner.

TAO Endless Buffet Brunch

TAO Endless Buffet Brunch

3377 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA

An Asian-focused Sunday brunch in a room that feels like a night out at midday: sashimi, nigiri, oysters, dim sum, pork belly, breakfast bao and a ramen station. Sundays 10:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m. Bottomless drinks are $29 more, and a few signatures cost extra.

Veranda at Four Seasons

Veranda at Four Seasons

3960 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89119, USA

For a slower weekend morning away from the casino floor, with terrace seating and a breakfast-focused spread of made-to-order dishes, pastries and fruit. Skip it if you want seafood. The buffet runs Saturday and Sunday, 8 a.m.–1 p.m.; confirm the price when you book.

The Buffet at Bellagio

The Buffet at Bellagio

3600 S Las Vegas Blvd Bellagio, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA

The easy Center Strip pick for families, with Italian, Japanese, Chinese and American stations, pastries and gelato. Kids 5 and under eat free and ages 6–11 pay half. Brunch daily 8 a.m.–2 p.m.; dinner weekends only (Saturday seafood $69.99, Sunday $59.99).

The Buffet at Excalibur

The Buffet at Excalibur

3850 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA

The practical South Strip breakfast or brunch: familiar food, a casual room and the lowest Strip prices on weekdays. Open daily 7 a.m.–2 p.m. with no dinner; weekend admission includes bottomless mimosas.

Cheap Buffets in Las Vegas and Off-Strip Alternatives

These are the buffets where the price is part of the appeal, plus two off-Strip spots that aren't casino buffets at all.

Garden Buffet at South Point

Garden Buffet at South Point

9777 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas, NV 89183, USA

The classic casino-buffet value, with several cooking stations and a Mongolian grill at prices that don't turn lunch into an occasion. Weekday breakfast runs 7–10 a.m. and prime rib dinner ($37.95) Saturday–Thursday, 4–9 p.m. A free club card takes a few dollars off; factor in the drive south.

Garden Court at Main Street Station

Garden Court at Main Street Station

200 N Main St, Las Vegas, NV 89101, USA

The easy buffet for a Downtown stay, in a Victorian-style room with more character than most bargain spreads. Don't cross town for it, but it's a good brunch before a Downtown afternoon. Brunch daily 8 a.m.–2 p.m.; dinner Friday and Saturday ($33.99). No reservations.

Market Place Buffet at The Resort at Summerlin

Market Place Buffet at The Resort at Summerlin

221 N Rampart Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89145, USA

Still searched as the Rampart buffet, and handy if you're staying on the west side: live cooking stations, build-your-own pasta and patio seating. Weekday lunch (11 a.m.–2 p.m.) is the value play; Friday seafood dinner is $55.99 and weekend champagne brunch $36.99.

Imperial Sushi & Seafood Buffet

Imperial Sushi & Seafood Buffet

5845 Spring Mountain Rd Ste B11, Las Vegas, NV 89146, USA

Sushi, Chinese hot dishes and seafood without the resort setting or resort prices. Snow crab comes with the dinner and weekend service, not the weekday lunch (10:30 a.m.–2:50 p.m.). There's a 90-minute limit, and hot items wind down from 8:30 p.m.

Mint Indian Bistro

Mint Indian Bistro

730 E Flamingo Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89119, USA

The inexpensive lunch for anyone who reads "unlimited crab legs" and feels nothing: rotating curries, vegetarian dishes, rice, naan, chutneys and dessert. A smart call for groups with vegetarians. Daily 11 a.m.–3 p.m.; dinner is à la carte. Flamingo location.

Frequently asked questions

Which Las Vegas buffet is best overall?
Wynn is our pick for a first big buffet splurge. Bacchanal is the better fit when the widest selection is the point, and Wicked Spoon is our brunch pick. A lobster fan, a family with young kids and someone after a $25 lunch are solving different problems, so the right answer depends on which one you are.
Which Las Vegas buffets serve dinner?
Fewer than you'd think. Wynn's seafood dinner starts at 1 p.m., Bacchanal opens for dinner from 2:30 p.m., and Palms, Genting Palace, South Point, Market Place and Imperial all serve dinner. Garden Court and Bellagio serve dinner on weekends only. Wicked Spoon, Excalibur and Veranda are morning-only, TAO and Anthony's are Sunday brunches, and Mint's buffet is lunch only. Check the service time before you plan the rest of the day.
Which buffets have unlimited lobster?
Palms' Wednesday and Thursday lobster dinners and Anthony's Sunday brunch are the clearest picks. Genting Palace includes a prepared lobster dish in its Chinese feast. Wynn's standard admission doesn't include unlimited lobster; that's a separate upgrade.
What are the best buffets under $30?
For select meals before tax and tip, start with South Point, Garden Court, Market Place, Mint Indian Bistro and Imperial's weekday lunch. Mint is the best inexpensive alternative to a casino buffet, South Point is the classic value pick, and Garden Court is the easy choice Downtown.
Do buffet reservations get you in without a line?
Not always. Wynn sells priority seating and Bacchanal treats a reservation as a place in line, so think of both as ways to organize the meal rather than a promise of walking straight to a table. Palms' lobster nights are different: there, a reservation is required.
Which buffet is best with kids?
Bellagio is worth a close look, since kids 5 and under eat free and ages 6–11 pay half price. Wynn charges half price for ages 3–9 and lets kids 2 and under eat free, which makes the splurge more manageable for a family. Excalibur is a practical, casual morning option on the South Strip. Compare children's prices for your kids' actual ages, not just the adult price.
Are the MGM Grand, Luxor and Studio B buffets still open?
No. MGM Grand's buffet closed after service on May 31, 2026, and Luxor's closed on March 30, 2025. Studio B at M Resort never reopened after the pandemic; M Resort's buffet today is Anthony's Sunday brunch. Older lists still send people to all three.
Are more Las Vegas buffets closing?
Possibly. MGM is reportedly planning to close its last three Las Vegas buffets, at Bellagio, Excalibur and The Cosmopolitan (Wicked Spoon), by mid-2027. MGM hasn't confirmed it, and all three were open at our last update. If one is central to your plans, check its page before you go.
