Charleston's Thanksgiving takeout runs from fully cooked Southern feasts to smoked turkey, polished dinners for two and a whole five-spice duck. This guide covers 19 kitchens with 2026 prices, order deadlines and pickup windows, whether you're hosting family at home, staying in a rental for the holiday or just want someone else to handle the turkey.
Thanksgiving is Thursday, November 26, 2026. Check the format before you order: a fully cooked meal, a cold meal you reheat and a package with a raw turkey make for three very different mornings. Prices are before tax, delivery and fees, and popular packages can sell out before the deadline.

Complete Thanksgiving dinners in Charleston
These packages cover most or all of the table. Most are fully cooked and only need reheating, while Rosemary & Rye, Duvall and Salthouse's larger package send a raw turkey for you to roast at home.

Cru Catering
1784 Harmon St, North Charleston, SC 29405, USA
Cru's $320 kit is the most complete heat-and-serve dinner in town. It feeds four with a brown-butter-basted Joyce Farms half turkey, herb gravy, cranberry compote, sausage brioche stuffing, Lowcountry corn pudding, roasted garlic whipped potatoes and three more sides, plus a spice cake roll and a bottle of sparkling. Everything arrives cooked in labeled, oven-ready containers. Whole turkeys, ham, extra sides and desserts are also sold à la carte. Details: Order by Wednesday, Nov. 18 at 2 p.m. Pickup Wednesday, Nov. 25, noon–2 p.m., at Cru's Charleston kitchen, Old Wide Awake in Hollywood or The Sandcastle on Kiawah.

Salthouse Catering
1740 Signal Point Rd Unit 200, Charleston, SC 29412, USA
Salthouse gives you the most say over the sides. Pick four from a list that includes five-cheese mac, buttermilk mashed potatoes, corn pudding, candied yams and maple-glazed Brussels sprouts, then get cranberry jam, turkey-and-bourbon gravy, a dozen take-and-bake benne seed brioche rolls and a dessert on top. The $350 package serves six to eight with a fully cooked, applewood-smoked turkey breast that just needs reheating. The $475 package serves ten to twelve with a 12- to 14-pound organic turkey that arrives brined and seasoned but still needs roasting. Details: Order by Nov. 17, the earliest cutoff in this guide. Pickup Wednesday, Nov. 25, at the James Island kitchen or Willie's Market at Boone Hall Farms in Mount Pleasant.

Hamby Catering
909 St Andrew's Blvd, Charleston, SC 29407, USA
Hamby is the classic local-caterer order: straightforward Southern food at one of the best prices for eight. The traditional roasted turkey dinner is $239 for four or $289 for eight, and the bourbon-smoked version is $259 or $309. Both come with garlic mashed red potatoes, baked mac and cheese, Southern green beans, dressing and gravy. The four-person size uses a turkey breast; the eight-person size gets a whole bird. Packages can't be changed, but $32 sides and desserts (each serves about eight) fill the gaps, and a $59 appetizer package adds chicken salad tea sandwiches, spinach dip, sweet potato biscuits with ham and cheese straws. Every package sold sponsors a holiday dinner through the Lowcountry Food Bank. Details: Order by Saturday, Nov. 21 at 3 p.m. Arrives refrigerated with warming instructions. Pickup Wednesday, Nov. 25, at The Market at Hamby in West Ashley.

Rosemary & Rye
2587 Ashley River Rd, Charleston, SC 29414, USA
Rosemary & Rye is the value pick, as long as you're happy to roast the turkey yourself. The $155 package feeds four to six with a brined, oven-ready turkey breast, and the $295 version feeds eight to ten with a whole brined bird. Both come with gravy, rolls with herb butter, garlic confit mashed potatoes, cornbread dressing and green bean almondine. An $85 Everything But the Turkey package covers hosts who already have the bird. The sides are ready to heat, but the turkey needs roughly 15–20 minutes per pound, so skip this one if you're in a rental with an unreliable oven. Details: Order by Saturday, Nov. 21 at noon. Pickup Wednesday, Nov. 25, 9 a.m.–4:30 p.m., at the West Ashley kitchen or Union Station on King Street. Delivery available.

Halls Signature Events
5 Faber St, Charleston, SC 29401, USA
Halls is one of two kitchens here where you can collect dinner on Thanksgiving morning. The $285 package serves four with oven-roasted turkey, fried turkey or bourbon-molasses-glazed ham, plus stuffing, Yukon Gold mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, French green beans, cauliflower-and-squash casserole and house-made rolls. Lobster mac and cheese, pepper Jack creamed corn and pies are extra. Details: Order by Sunday, Nov. 22 at noon. Downtown pickup Wednesday, Nov. 25, 9 a.m.–6 p.m., or Thanksgiving Day, 8 a.m.–3 p.m. Kiawah pickup at The Sandcastle at 10 a.m. either day.

Mercantile & Mash
701 E Bay St Ste 100-1, Charleston, SC 29403, USA
Mercantile & Mash is the other Thanksgiving-morning option, and it's handy if you're staying downtown and don't want to haul a cold dinner across town the night before. The $265 package feeds four to six with roasted Joyce Farms turkey, mashed potatoes, Brussels sprouts, stuffing, mac and cheese and a pie. Green bean casserole, sweet potato soufflé, corn pudding and cakes can be added. Details: Order by Saturday, Nov. 21 ($245 if ordered by Nov. 1). Pickup Wednesday, Nov. 25, 8 a.m.–4 p.m., or Thanksgiving Day, 8–11 a.m., on East Bay Street.

Duvall Catering & Events
2816 Azalea Dr, Charleston, SC 29405, USA
Duvall's $399 Gather package covers eight people and both pies. You get a seasoned, brined oven-ready whole turkey with cranberry chutney and pan gravy, brioche stuffing, creamed kale and butternut squash gratin, buttermilk mashed potatoes, baked mac and cheese, artisan rolls with whipped butter, pumpkin pie and chocolate bourbon pecan pie. The turkey still needs roasting, so plan your oven time. Details: Order by Thursday, Nov. 19. Pickup or delivery Wednesday, Nov. 25.

Harvest Catering
1230 Camp Rd, Charleston, SC 29412, USA
Harvest takes the carving off your hands. Its $350 dinner for eight is a brined, roasted 12- to 15-pound turkey, sliced off the bone and packed in herb jus, with leek-and-herb focaccia dressing, turkey-shallot gravy, mashed potatoes and orange-scented cranberry sauce. The à la carte list is where it gets interesting: $40 sides for eight include bacon-braised collards, wild-mushroom green bean casserole and Gruyère potato-fennel gratin, and a vegan stuffed acorn squash gives plant-based guests a real main. Desserts are $50. Details: Order by Thursday, Nov. 19 at 5 p.m. Pickup Wednesday, Nov. 25, at Harvest Market on Camp Road, James Island.

Poogan's Holiday Meals To-Go
12 Cumberland St, Charleston, SC 29401, USA
Poogan's lets you build the table instead of buying a fixed package. Choose turkey or roasted beef tenderloin, then add Southern sides, desserts and the biscuits. It's as useful for the two or three dishes you don't want to make as it is for a full spread. Details: Order by Sunday, Nov. 22 at noon. Packed cold with heat-and-serve instructions. Pickup Wednesday, Nov. 25, at Poogan's Courtyard, 12 Cumberland Street.

Smoked turkey and barbecue Thanksgiving orders
Charleston's barbecue kitchens are the answer when the centerpiece matters more than a fully traditional menu, and they scale well for big groups. None of the three hands off orders on Thanksgiving Day, so plan on picking up earlier in the week.

Home Team BBQ
1205 Ashley River Rd, Charleston, SC 29407, USA
Home Team's $190 family package feeds four to six with three pounds of sliced smoked turkey or ham, three holiday sides, a quart of gravy, a pint of cranberry sauce and 12 King's Hawaiian rolls. Sides include cornbread stuffing, green bean casserole, mashed sweet potatoes, potatoes au gratin and smoked Gouda mac and cheese. Add ribs, wings, cobbler, banana pudding or a $35 pumpkin cheesecake for a bigger spread. Details: Order through Home Team's catering team. Pickup or limited delivery Nov. 18–25, hot or cold with take-and-bake instructions.

Martin's Bar-B-Que Joint
1622 Highland Ave, Charleston, SC 29412, USA
Martin's is the best value for a big table. The $219.99 Holiday Supper feeds ten to twelve with a whole smoked turkey breast, five sides, 15 rolls, a pie, gravy, barbecue sauce and a gallon of tea. The $289.99 Major Feast feeds twelve to fifteen with a whole smoked turkey or half ham, and the $169.99 Small Gathering covers four to six. Every package includes a pie. À la carte, a whole smoked turkey for twelve to fifteen is $99.99 and sides start at $18.49 a quart. Everything comes cold with warming instructions, and $5 from each package goes to the Southern Smoke Foundation. Details: Pickup Nov. 23–29, 10 a.m.–9 p.m., at 1622 Highland Avenue.

Lewis Barbecue
464 N Nassau St, Charleston, SC 29403, USA
Lewis is the move when you'd rather build the meal around smoked meat. Get turkey breast for the traditionalists and USDA Prime brisket or prime rib for everyone else, then add mac and cheese or Hatch green chile corn pudding. Orders are sold frozen, so pick up early in the window to leave time for thawing before you reheat. Details: Order by Nov. 23 or until it sells out. Pickup Nov. 23–25, 11 a.m.–4 p.m., at 464 Nassau Street.
Smaller Thanksgiving dinners and alternatives to turkey
These meals are sized for two to eight, and several swap the turkey for beef Wellington, prime rib, lasagna or duck. NICO, Bistronomy, Kersey House and Laura are all part of chef Nico Romo's group, so they work the same way: cold meals with heating instructions, no substitutions, and an order isn't confirmed until you get a confirmation email.

Bistronomy by Nico
64 Spring St, Charleston, SC 29403, USA
Bistronomy's $80 dinner for two is turkey breast with cranberry jus, haricot vert casserole, pommes aligot and a mini baguette. The $120 version swaps in two individual beef Wellingtons, and a mini pumpkin pie is $25 extra. Details: Order by end of day Wednesday, Nov. 18. Pickup Wednesday, Nov. 25, downtown.

Hank's Seafood
10 Hayne St, Charleston, SC 29401, USA
Hank's Hanksgiving dinner is turkey breast, collard greens, potato purée, sausage-mushroom-and-sage stuffing and cranberry relish, priced per person: $45 for one, $90 for two and $180 for four. Keeping Thanksgiving small doesn't cost you anything extra here. Details: Order by email by Thursday, Nov. 19. Hank's confirms pickup timing when it replies to your order.

Sorelle
88 Broad St, Charleston, SC 29401, USA
Sorelle is the splurge, and the closest thing here to a restaurant meal at home. The $196 meal serves two and the $392 version serves four, running from prosciutto with buffalo burrata and focaccia through a chicory salad, butternut squash radiatore, olive-oil-roasted heritage turkey with fennel-pollen gravy, rapini-and-sausage stuffing with chestnuts, cranberry mostarda and pumpkin pie. Details: Order through Sorelle's Thanksgiving at Home page and pick your pickup slot at checkout. Pickup at 88 Broad Street.

NICO
201 Coleman Blvd, Mt Pleasant, SC 29464, USA
NICO's Shem Creek meal puts a French accent on the classic: roasted turkey with espelette butter sauce, green beans with braised mushrooms, potato gratin and a baguette. It starts at $125 for four, about $31 a head, and also comes sized for eight. A beef Wellington meal starts at $250. Details: Order by end of day Wednesday, Nov. 18. Pickup Tuesday, Nov. 24, or Wednesday, Nov. 25, in Mount Pleasant.

Kersey House
117 W Luke Ave, Summerville, SC 29483, USA
Kersey House runs the same format in Summerville. The roasted turkey meal comes with cranberry demi-glace, green beans with braised mushrooms, potato au gratin and a baguette, from $125 for four or sized for eight. A prime rib meal starts at $300. Details: Order by end of day Wednesday, Nov. 18. Pickup Wednesday, Nov. 25, at 117 W. Luke Avenue, Summerville.

Laura
101 N Main St, Summerville, SC 29483, USA
Laura's $160 Italian family meal skips the turkey entirely: focaccia, Caesar salad, lasagna and tiramisu for six to eight, which works out to about $20–27 a head. It's just as good for Thanksgiving night, Friendsgiving or the day after. A sweet potato and apple cheesecake is $80 extra. Details: Order by end of day Thursday, Nov. 19. Pickup Tuesday, Nov. 24, or Wednesday, Nov. 25, at 101 N. Main Street, Summerville.

XO Brasserie
1090 Morrison Dr, Charleston, SC 29403, USA
XO's Thanksgiving Duck Feast is the most interesting order in Charleston this year. A deboned Jurgielewicz Farm duck roasted with five-spice and honey comes with duck rice and Silk Road bao buns, plus char siu pork and shrimp fried rice, garlic green beans and ten house-made potstickers with ginger tea soy. It feeds two to four. Details: Order by phone or email by Wednesday, Nov. 18. Pickup Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2–8 p.m., at 1090 Morrison Drive. Reheating instructions included.
Tips for ordering Thanksgiving takeout in Charleston
- Check the format first. Rosemary & Rye, Duvall and Salthouse's whole-turkey package send a raw bird that needs hours in the oven, and Lewis arrives frozen. Everything else is cooked and only needs reheating.
- Thanksgiving Day pickup is rare. Halls (downtown and Kiawah) and Mercantile & Mash are the only kitchens here that hand off dinner on Thursday morning. No one else hands off dinner on Thanksgiving Day itself.
- Delivery and Kiawah. Rosemary & Rye and Duvall deliver, and Home Team offers limited delivery. On Kiawah, Cru and Halls both use The Sandcastle; if you're not staying on the island, confirm gate access when you order.
