Team Dinner Restaurants in Hudson Yards, Manhattan West & Penn Station
The newest office district in the city has some of its best group dining, all within a few blocks of Penn Station and the 7 train.

Ci Siamo
440 W 33rd St Ste 100, New York, NY 10001, USA
If you want one restaurant that fits the broadest idea of a great team dinner, this is it. Ci Siamo's Italian menu is easy to share, the room feels special without being formal, and Manhattan West is convenient to Hudson Yards and Penn Station. The private room seats 50 with its own bar and a terrace next door. The dinner minimum is $8,500 Monday to Saturday, January to November.

Zou Zou’s
385 9th Ave Suite 85, New York, NY 10001, USA
Zou Zou's is the pick when the team wants dinner to feel like a night out. The Eastern Mediterranean menu runs on dips, mezze and grilled dishes made for sharing. The Mural Room seats 24 and the Parlour Room seats 18, and they combine for 42. It's buzzy, not quiet.

Greywind
451 10th Ave, New York, NY 10018, USA
Dan Kluger's Hudson Yards restaurant. The Study is a fully private room for 18 with a family-style menu, there's a chef's table for 18, and The Loft seats 40. Closed Sundays.

Bar Primi Penn District
349 W 33rd St, New York, NY 10001, USA
Casual pasta a block from Penn Station. The private dining room flexes from 8 to 40 seated with its own bar and AV, and the patio takes happy hour groups of 8 to 45 from May through October.
Team Dinner Restaurants in Midtown West, Bryant Park, Rockefeller Center & Koreatown
Steakhouses and private rooms dominate this stretch of Midtown, with Koreatown a few blocks south when the team would rather grill its own dinner.

Keens Steakhouse
72 W 36th St., New York, NY 10018, USA
Keens gives a team the steakhouse dinner companies often want, with far more New York character than a generic expense-account room: wood paneling, history, and the famous pipe collection overhead. Four private rooms seat 25, 36, 45 and 75, and private dinners start at $202 per person. A strong choice when colleagues are in from out of town.

Quality Italian
57 W 57th St, New York, NY 10019, USA
Quality Italian works when you need to make ten different personalities happy. Steak people get steak, everyone else gets pasta and chicken parm, and the room feels celebratory without being formal. The 57 Room seats 32 and the Trophy Room seats up to 60, and they combine for bigger events.

Le Rock
45 Rockefeller Plaza, New York, NY 10111, USA
Le Rock brings a polished French brasserie feel to Rockefeller Center without reading as a standard corporate dining room. The menu runs from seafood and steak frites to larger-format dishes, and the private dining room seats 16. Plan an early dinner: it closes at 9pm and is closed Sundays outside December.

La Pecora Bianca Bryant Park
20 W 40th St, New York, NY 10018, USA
Not the most adventurous restaurant here, and that's the appeal. Pasta, salads and familiar Italian mains make La Pecora Bianca an easy call for coworkers whose tastes you barely know. The semi-private Alcove seats 9 to 12, and the enclosed Library rooms seat 30 each or 60 combined, with flat-screens.

Bad Roman
3rd floor, 10 Columbus Cir, New York, NY 10019, USA
Bad Roman is intentionally playful, so it works when the team wants the corporate card without the corporate atmosphere. Expect a maximalist room, good cocktails and crowd-pleasing Italian-American food. The Piazza Room seats 48 and the Lazzeri Room seats 40, and together they seat up to 80.

Jongro BBQ
22 W 32nd St 2nd floor, New York, NY 10001, USA
Korean barbecue keeps everyone cooking, passing and talking, and Jongro is a relaxed, well-priced way to do it. Being in Koreatown makes karaoke or drinks afterward easy. Resy takes parties of 7 to 18, and bigger groups book by email.

Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse
1221 Ave of the Americas, New York, NY 10020, USA
There are more interesting restaurants in New York, but few are more purpose-built for company dinners. Del Frisco's is the answer when reliability, location and AV matter more than discovering somewhere new. Private rooms seat 18, 30, 40, 65 and 80, most with AV.

Café China
59 W 37th St, New York, NY 10018, USA
Sichuan and dim sum near Bryant Park with some of the lowest private room minimums in Midtown, starting at $500. Rooms seat 8 to 12, 18 and 30, and all private room food is family style. Can't accommodate strict vegan, kosher or halal diets.

Carmine's - 44th Street - NYC
200 W 44th St, New York, NY 10036, USA
Family-style Southern Italian on platters sized for a crowd. Event packages start at 15 guests with a two-hour seating. Nobody leaves hungry. The Upper West Side location has a private room for up to 42.

Marea
240 Central Park S, New York, NY 10019, USA
Italian seafood on Central Park South. The Praiano room is fully private and seats 24. The Ravello room seats 30 behind a sliding wall, so it's semi-private.
Team Dinner Restaurants in Midtown East & Grand Central
The traditional home of the New York business dinner, and the easiest part of town for a team that commutes through Grand Central.

Santi
11 E 53rd St, New York, NY 10022, USA
Santi is more polished and restrained than the livelier options in this guide, which suits a leadership dinner better than a rowdy outing. The private room seats up to 14 with a prix fixe menu, beverage packages and AV included. It's closed Sundays, and there's a dress code.

Aretsky's Patroon
160 E 46th St, New York, NY 10017, USA
Patroon is a longtime Midtown East business-dining room, and it's still the right call for a conservative group that values privacy and service over trendiness. There are six private rooms and a rooftop. The Gibson Room seats 60 with a screen and conferencing, and smaller rooms seat 8 to 35. Weekdays only.

Grand Brasserie
89 E 42nd St, New York, NY 10017, USA
Inside Grand Central, so it's the most convenient pick for a commuter-heavy team. Parties of 6 to 14 book on OpenTable, there's a private room for up to 30, and the kitchen runs 7am to 2am.

Rosemary's Midtown
825 3rd Ave, New York, NY 10022, USA
Built for work groups. Parties of 8 to 12 sit at the communal table with a prix fixe, and The Gallery is a fully private room for 30 with AV for presentations and minimums from $2,000 to $5,000.

Empellon
510 Madison Ave, New York, NY 10022, USA
Alex Stupak's Midtown Mexican restaurant has a Boardroom for 12, the McNett Room for 25 and a mezzanine for 30. Group dining starts at 9 guests. A good change of pace from the steakhouses.

Fasano Restaurant New York
60 E 49th St, New York, NY 10017, USA
Polished Milanese cooking in Midtown East. The second-floor Boardroom seats 24 and has its own reception area, bar and powder room. Closed Sundays.

THE GRILL
Seagram Building, 99 E 52nd St, New York, NY 10022, USA
The ultimate New York business dinner, in the landmark Seagram Building. The private Salon seats 15 and the Gallery seats 22. The one an out-of-town client will remember.
Team Dinner Restaurants in Flatiron, NoMad & Union Square
The densest cluster of good group restaurants in Manhattan, and the best area for a team that wants to share plates.

ilili NoMad
236 5th Ave, New York, NY 10001, USA
ilili is one of the safest choices for a mixed group. Lebanese mezze gives everyone plenty to share, vegetarians are well served, and meat eaters can move on to the grills. Private rooms seat 20, 40 and 40, with a semi-private dining room for 95. The Midtown location on E 53rd has three rooms that combine for up to 54.

COTE Flatiron
16 W 22nd St, New York, NY 10010, USA
COTE works when the dinner itself should provide some entertainment. Servers grill premium beef at the table, which keeps a group engaged without any forced team building. Regular reservations stop at 6, group tables take 7 to 18, and the downstairs Undercote seats 24 for a private dinner. It's expensive and memorable.

The Smith
1150 Broadway, New York, NY 10010, USA
The easy answer for 8 to 15. Family-style menus are available for 8 or more and required at 12, the menu covers everyone, and there are four Manhattan locations. This NoMad one has a private room for up to 75 with its own bar. One bill for the table.

Zaytinya
1185 Broadway Ground Floor, New York, NY 10001, USA
One of the few places where a group of 10 to 26 can book directly online. José Andrés's mezze restaurant in the Ritz-Carlton NoMad has semi-private spaces from a communal table for 10 up to a section for 50. Great for mixed diets; loud at peak hours.

Boqueria Flatiron
53 W 19th St, New York, NY 10011, USA
Tapas solve the ordering problem. Chef's tasting menus are $52 and $65 per person, parties of 6 or more carry a 20% service charge, and the Flatiron location does buyouts for 60 seated. Also in SoHo, the Upper East Side and W 40th St.

Union Square Cafe
101 E 19th St, New York, NY 10003, USA
One of the most dependable business dinners in the city. The Alcove seats 10 at a single oval walnut table and the Park & Irving Room seats 40. The menu works for everyone.

Gramercy Tavern
42 E 20th St, New York, NY 10003, USA
A fully private dining room for 20 at one long table, with service as good as it gets. A signed contract and card are required, and fall dinner dates in the room are limited, so ask early.
Team Dinner Restaurants in Chelsea & Downtown Manhattan
From Chelsea down through the Village, Nolita, Chinatown and Tribeca. This is where to look when the team would choose the restaurant themselves.

Chama Mama
149 W 14th St, New York, NY 10011, USA
Georgian food is communal by nature, and Chama Mama's group pricing is unusually transparent. Khachapuri, khinkali, grilled meats and Georgian wine all land as a shared meal. The Georgian Feast is $75 per person for 10 to 15 guests, and groups of 16 to 25 have a $120 per person minimum including drinks.

Hav & Mar
245 11th Ave, New York, NY 10001, USA
Hav & Mar is the better choice when the group actually cares about food. Marcus Samuelsson's seafood menu is built around sharing, and the room is polished enough for a work event. The Cove is private for 16 with its own entrance, The Bay seats 25 by the open kitchen, and the chef's table takes 4 to 8.

Port Sa’id
88 King St, New York, NY 10014, USA
Port Sa'id is the anti-corporate team dinner: a huge Hudson Square room from chef Eyal Shani with a vinyl soundtrack and shareable Mediterranean cooking. Groups of 10 to 30 book a family-style prix fixe, with up to 16 at one table. A natural fit for startups and creative teams. Closed Sundays.

Lafayette Grand Café & Bakery
380 Lafayette St, New York, NY 10003, USA
Lafayette's French grand cafe menu has broad appeal, and its real advantage for a team is an enclosed, conversation-friendly room downtown. The Salle Privée hosts 8 to 20 and has a flatscreen for a short presentation or toast.

Rubirosa
235 Mulberry St, New York, NY 10012, USA
Thin-crust pizza and fresh pasta nobody on the team will complain about. Groups of 8 to 22 get a customizable family-style menu of antipasti, pastas and pizzas, and you can add a cake.

L'Artusi
228 W 10th St, New York, NY 10014, USA
The Wine Room is fully private, seats 14 and serves a sharing-style menu. Book the 6pm seating, the 9:30pm seating or the whole night. The upstairs mezzanine seats 55 for a bigger group.

Chinese Tuxedo
5 Doyers St, New York, NY 10013, USA
Chinese Tuxedo is one of the more distinctive choices here: contemporary Chinese sharing dishes and cocktails in a former opera house on Doyers Street. The Moon Room is a private dining room for 8 to 28 with Bluetooth AV. A strong alternative to another steakhouse.

Katz's Delicatessen
205 E Houston St, New York, NY 10002, USA
A team dinner people will talk about. Group reservations for 10 to 40, with the Signature Party Menu at $85 per person at dinner: hand-carved sandwiches and unlimited sides. Private dining room for up to 30.

Wu's Wonton King
165 E Broadway, New York, NY 10002, USA
Big round tables with lazy susans and Cantonese food made for sharing. Pre-order the whole suckling pig by phone for a centerpiece. Reservations are by phone. Loud, fast and fun.

Torrisi
275 Mulberry St, New York, NY 10012, USA
One of the hardest reservations in the city, which is why the private room is worth knowing. It seats 18 at one table or 32 at two. The chef's table for 10 in the Bar Room isn't private.

Locanda Verde Tribeca
377 Greenwich St, New York, NY 10013, USA
The Tribeca private room seats 60 with a working fireplace, its own bar and a ceiling of 90,000 wine corks. Menus are family style. The Hudson Yards location has a fully private room for 26.
Team Dinner Restaurants in Financial District & Seaport
Downtown has the views and the grand old rooms. All five of these work well when colleagues are visiting from out of town.

Manhatta
28 Liberty St 60th floor, New York, NY 10005, USA
For a team with visiting colleagues or a real reason to celebrate, Manhatta's 60th-floor setting makes dinner an occasion from the moment the elevator opens. There are several private rooms: three that seat 32, one for 35, and the Roebling Room for 75. Minimums vary by room and season, so ask for the current figure when you inquire.

Temple Court
5 Beekman St, New York, NY 10038, USA
Temple Court, inside The Beekman, has plenty of atmosphere without loud music or spectacle, so it suits a team that actually wants to talk. Parties of 9 to 20 can arrange group dining, and the Chapel Street private room seats 20 and has an 80-inch screen.

The Fulton by Jean-Georges
Northeast corner of Pier 17, 89 South St, New York, NY 10038, USA
The Fulton gives a team dinner a real sense of place: seafood at Pier 17 with Brooklyn Bridge and East River views. It's well placed for Lower Manhattan teams and visiting colleagues. There's a private dining room for 12, plus larger first and second floor spaces.

Crown Shy
70 Pine St, New York, NY 10005, USA
The best-looking option for a downtown team. Two private rooms, each with its own entrance: the Cedar Room for 10 to 16 and the Pearl Room for 18 to 25. Together they seat 50.

Delmonico's
56 Beaver St, New York, NY 10004, USA
The Financial District classic. Board Room for 16, Tesla's Quarters for 40 and a Club Room for 60, and the events manager handles AV. Order the Delmonico steak.
Team Dinner Restaurants in Brooklyn & Queens
If your office is in Brooklyn or Long Island City, there's no reason to drag everyone into Manhattan.

Misi
329 Kent Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11249, USA
For a smaller team of serious food people, Misi is excellent, and it feels far more personal than a generic event space. The Pasta Room hosts 8 to 20 with a seasonal sharing menu of antipasti, handmade pasta, bistecca and gelato.

Rule of Thirds
171 Banker St, Brooklyn, NY 11222, USA
Rule of Thirds is unusually well suited to team dinners. The big industrial Greenpoint space serves shareable Japanese food and has three private dining rooms, a large event space and a courtyard, so it handles anything from an eight-person dinner to a company-wide event.

Laser Wolf Brooklyn
97 Wythe Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11249, USA
Laser Wolf pairs skyline views from the roof of The Hoxton with a communal Israeli grill format: salads and dips land first, then the grilled meats. Event bookings start at 9 guests. Best in warm weather or with visitors.

Leo
123 Havemeyer St, Brooklyn, NY 11211, USA
Sourdough pizza and natural wine in Williamsburg, with one of the best-value group deals in the city: a family-style set menu for 8 to 15 at around $45 to $50 per person. There's also a private dining room for 26 with its own entrance.

The Fly
549 Classon Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11238, USA
A rotisserie chicken bar in Bed-Stuy from the Hart's and Cervo's team. The group chicken dinner is built for 8 to 20 and runs about $45 per person for chicken, caesar and fries.

Gage & Tollner
372 Fulton St, Brooklyn, NY 11201, USA
The best private dining in Brooklyn. The Edna Lewis Room seats 35 to 40 and the Dolphin Bar seats 22, each with its own bar, and they connect for 60. AV for a DJ or karaoke, plus an upright piano.

Le Crocodile
80 Wythe Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11249, USA
Clear about groups. Parties of 8 or more get a family-style prix fixe, with a sample menu at $105 per person. Private dining in The Cellar for 13 to 40 starts at $125 per person, with AV available.

Lilia
567 Union Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11211, USA
Regular reservations stop at 6. For a team, the semi-private room seats 12 to 20 with a shared menu of antipasti, pasta, mains and dessert. Also the easiest way to get everyone into Lilia.

Maiella
46-10 Center Blvd, Long Island City, NY 11109, USA
The best team dinner option in Queens. Italian on the LIC waterfront near the Pepsi-Cola sign, with private rooms for 24 and 32 and a semi-private main dining room for up to 75.
How to Plan a Team Dinner in NYC
Know your headcount before you search. Most restaurants book up to 6 or 8 online, require a set or family-style menu somewhere between 8 and 12, and move you to a private room or section past 15 or 20.
Use the events team once you're over the online limit. Private rooms run on a separate calendar from Resy and OpenTable. Send your headcount, a date with two alternates and a per-person budget.
Book earlier for Thursdays and the holidays. Three to six weeks is enough for most dates. Thursday is the most popular team dinner night, and December rooms start filling in September.
Understand the minimum and the fees. A private room usually carries a food and beverage minimum that changes by day and season. Tax, gratuity and a service or administrative fee sit on top of it.
Send dietary restrictions ahead. A kitchen that knows in advance handles them far better than one that finds out at the table.
Group details checked October 2026. Confirm with the restaurant before you book.
