Miami's late-night food is a lot better than the row of pizza slices on Washington Avenue suggests. At 2 a.m. you can still get a French sandwich on a fresh baguette, sushi, birria tacos, a bowl of ramen, or Nicaraguan carne asada with gallo pinto.
The useful question isn't just what's open. It's whether the kitchen is still cooking, which branch stays open latest, and whether you're getting a seat and a plate or a sandwich from a ventanita eaten next to the car. This guide covers Miami, Miami Beach, North Miami and Hialeah, sorted by area. Use the map to see what's still serving near you.

Late-Night Food in Miami Beach
South Beach has the deepest late-night bench in the city, and most of it is walkable from Washington Avenue and Collins.

La Sandwicherie (South Beach)
229 14th St, Miami Beach, FL 33139, USA
The closest thing Miami has to a universal late-night answer, and the counter off 14th Street has been feeding the post-club crowd since 1988. You get a crisp baguette or a croissant, a generous stack of meat and cheese, all the vegetables at no extra charge, and the house vinaigrette that ties it together. Get the SOBE Club (turkey, Brie and avocado) or the Terminator, and don't skip the vegetables or the dressing. A 10% gratuity is added after 10 p.m. Details: Food until 5 a.m. daily at all four branches: 229 14th St (South Beach), 169 NW 23rd St (Wynwood), 7349 Collins Ave (North Beach) and 60 SW 10th St (Brickell).

Sweet Liberty Drinks & Supply Company
237 20th St Ste b, Miami Beach, FL 33139, USA
Sweet Liberty is for the nights when dinner never happened. The kitchen cooks real food until 4 a.m. every night, so you can sit down to the Liberty Burger, cauliflower nachos or steak frites alongside some of the best cocktails in the city. It's the rare late stop where the night doesn't end the moment the check lands. Details: Kitchen until 4 a.m. daily; bar until 5 a.m. 237-B 20th St, Miami Beach.

Moshi Moshi (South Beach)
1448 Washington Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33139, USA
Moshi Moshi settles the argument for a group that can't choose between sushi, ramen, fried rice and wings. The menu also runs to bao, crispy rice and plates to share, and the Washington Avenue original keeps it all going until 5 a.m. It isn't hushed omakase, but it's fresh Japanese food at an hour when almost every other kitchen is dark. Details: Food until 5 a.m. daily in South Beach, 1448 Washington Ave. Also at 1700 SW 3rd Ave (Brickell) and 7232 Biscayne Blvd (MiMo).

Bodega Taqueria y Tequila (South Beach)
1220 16th St, Miami Beach, FL 33139, USA
The taqueria and the bar behind it run separately, so you can grab tacos and go or eat first and then head through the back. Burritos, quesadillas and guacamole make it easy to feed a group. The 3 a.m. close Thursday through Saturday is what puts it on this list, in South Beach and the Grove alike. Details: Food until 3 a.m. Thu–Sat; 1 a.m. Sun–Wed. 1220 16th St (South Beach) and 3419 Main Hwy (Coconut Grove).

Big Pink
157 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33139, USA
Big Pink is built for groups with unrelated cravings: breakfast, burgers, salads, pasta, fries and dessert can all share one booth. Portions are huge and the menu reads like a novel. Come Thursday to Saturday if you want pancakes at 4 a.m. Details: Food until 5:30 a.m. Thu–Sat; 2 a.m. Sun; midnight Mon–Wed. 157 Collins Ave, South of Fifth.

11th Street Diner
1065 Washington Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33139, USA
The stainless-steel dining car dates to 1948 and feels exactly right at 3 a.m. Order eggs, pancakes, a patty melt or any other diner standard and settle into a booth. It's only open all night on Friday and Saturday. An 18% service charge is added, and Mastercard isn't accepted. Details: Open 24 hours Fri–Sat; about midnight Sun–Thu. 1065 Washington Ave, Miami Beach.

Pizza Rustica
863 Washington Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33139, USA
Big rectangular slices on a thick, airy crust set Pizza Rustica apart from a New York slice shop, and one slice is close to a meal. It's a short walk from most of Washington Avenue and open late every night, not just weekends. Order it hot and keep the toppings simple. Details: Food until 5 a.m. daily. 863 Washington Ave, Miami Beach.

Pinecrest Bakery (Miami Beach)
1511 Alton Rd, Miami Beach, FL 33139, USA
A round-the-clock Cuban bakery for pan con bistec, Cuban sandwiches, croquetas, pastelitos and coffee. It works after the bars, before an early flight, or at the hour when late night turns into breakfast. Branches elsewhere in the county keep their own hours, so this is the one to use on the Beach. Details: Open 24 hours. 1511 Alton Rd, Miami Beach.

Late-Night Food in Wynwood, MiMo and North Miami
Wynwood's bars close late and its counters close later, especially on Friday and Saturday. Farther up Biscayne, a couple of local favorites cover MiMo and North Miami.

Joe's Pizza (Wynwood)
234 NW 25th St, Miami, FL 33127, USA
The Greenwich Village slice shop's Miami outpost does exactly what you want after Wynwood: a thin, foldable cheese or pepperoni slice with a crisp underside, served fast. Wynwood is the late one on weekends; Lincoln Road is handy but keeps shorter hours. Keep it simple and eat it hot. Details: Food until 5 a.m. Fri–Sat in Wynwood; earlier other nights. 234 NW 25th St (Wynwood) and 1674 Meridian Ave (Lincoln Road).

Skinny Louie
322 NW 24th St, Miami, FL 33127, USA
Three smash burgers, fries and shakes, and that's the menu. Thin, crispy-edged patties, melted American cheese and a soft bun make an easy, satisfying order at 4 a.m. Get the Skinny Louie Cheeseburger with grilled onions and Louie sauce, plus fries. Details: Food until 5 a.m. Fri–Sat; 3 a.m. Sun–Thu. 322 NW 24th St, Wynwood.

Cowy Burger
223 NW 23rd St, Miami, FL 33127, USA
Cowy started as a weekend pop-up and now has a permanent Wynwood counter. The signature burger stacks a smashed patty with American cheese, bacon jam and grilled onions, so it's sweeter and messier than Skinny Louie's. Add waffle fries. It's a late dinner on weeknights and an after-bars stop on weekends. Details: Food until 3 a.m. Fri–Sat; 2 a.m. Thu; midnight Sun–Wed. 223 NW 23rd St, Wynwood.

Coyo Taco
2320 NW 2nd Ave, Miami, FL 33127, USA
One of Wynwood's first late-night spots, with tacos on fresh tortillas and fillings like al pastor and cochinita pibil. There's a lounge in the back if the night keeps going, but you don't need it. Order tacos and guacamole, or a burrito if this is your last meal of the night. Details: Food until 3 a.m. Thu–Sun; 2 a.m. Mon–Wed. 2320 NW 2nd Ave, Wynwood.

Talkin' Tacos (Wynwood)
172 NW 24th St, Miami, FL 33127, USA
This is the stop for birria in every form: quesabirria, birria ramen and loaded fries, with plenty of cheese and broth for dipping. It started as a food truck in 2020 and still moves fast. Both branches are an easy walk from the Wynwood and Brickell bars. Details: Food until 2 a.m. nightly. 172 NW 24th St (Wynwood) and 97 SW 8th St (Brickell).

Uptown 66 Taqueria
6600 Biscayne Blvd, Miami, FL 33138, USA
Uptown 66 is closer to an outdoor taco stand than a dining room, which is the appeal on a dry, pleasant night. Order al pastor, barbacoa or the birria tacos; the steak burrito lined with crispy potatoes is the move for a bigger appetite. It's the best reason to stay on Biscayne late. Details: Food until 3:30 a.m. Fri–Sat; 1:30 a.m. Sun–Thu. 6600 Biscayne Blvd, MiMo.

Steve's Pizza
12101 Biscayne Blvd, Miami, FL 33181, USA
A North Miami fixture since 1974, with big New York-style slices, a slightly sweet sauce and no shortage of cheese. Garlic rolls are the side to get. It isn't worth the drive from South Beach, but it's the obvious stop if you're already on Biscayne or heading north. Details: Food until 3 a.m. Fri–Sat; 2 a.m. Mon–Thu; 1 a.m. Sun. 12101 Biscayne Blvd, North Miami.
Late-Night Food in Downtown Miami and Brickell
Downtown's late food clusters near the clubs and Flagler Street, and Brickell has a couple of strong options a short walk from the bars.

Eleventh Street Pizza
1035 N Miami Ave, Miami, FL 33136, USA
This is the late-night slice where the pizza itself is the point. The long-fermented sourdough crust has more character than anything else on this list, and pepperoni with hot honey is the favorite. Get garlic knots too. It's only truly late on Friday and Saturday. Details: Food until 2 a.m. Fri–Sat; earlier the rest of the week. 1035 N Miami Ave, Downtown.

El Primo Red Tacos
179 E Flagler St, Miami, FL 33131, USA
Crisped quesatacos with melted cheese and a cup of birria broth for dipping are the order, and they're worth crossing downtown for. Birriamen and a birria smash burger push the idea further. Plan on Friday or Saturday; weeknights close at 10 p.m. Details: Food until 3 a.m. Fri–Sat; 10 p.m. Mon–Thu. 179 E Flagler St, Downtown.

Manolo & Rene Grill
188 NE 3rd Ave, Miami, FL 33132, USA
Downtown's oldest restaurant is a counter-service Cuban grill that only closes on Christmas. Breakfast plates, sandwiches, rice and beans, cafecito and full plates come out at any hour, with a few seats to eat them. The room is plain; the point is a hot meal with zero planning. Details: Open 24 hours. 188 NE 3rd Ave, Downtown.

Momi Ramen
5 SW 11th St, Miami, FL 33130, USA
The move when only broth will do. Momi serves oversized bowls of ramen with pork belly, chicken, shrimp or oxtail, plus gyoza and bao, in a small brick building on a Brickell side street. It's pricier than most late-night options and cash only. Details: Food until 2 a.m. Thu–Sat; about 11:30 p.m. Sun–Wed. Cash only. 5 SW 11th St, Brickell.
Late-Night Food in Little Havana, Coral Way and Coconut Grove
This is where Miami's 24-hour food lives: Cuban ventanitas, Nicaraguan fritangas and a Grove institution that serves into the morning.

Mary's Café & Coin Laundry
2542 SW 27th Ave, Miami, FL 33133, USA
Part laundromat, part Cuban counter, and open around the clock since 1991. The pan con bistec is the order: thin steak, onions and potato sticks pressed into hot Cuban bread. Croquetas, empanadas and café con leche work for something smaller, eaten out on the sidewalk. Bring cash. Details: Open 24 hours. 2542 SW 27th Ave, Coral Way.

Casola's
2437 SW 17th Ave, Miami, FL 33145, USA
Casola's isn't about refinement. One slice is roughly the size of your head, the subs and garlic rolls are just as generous, and it's still open when you need it. It suits a hungry group or the drive home from Coconut Grove. Online orders close an hour before the shop does. Details: Food until 2 a.m. Fri–Sat; 1 a.m. Wed–Thu; midnight Sun–Tue. 2437 SW 17th Ave, Coral Way.

Pinolandia
119 NW 12th Ave, Miami, FL 33128, USA
Pick from the counter: smoky carne asada, gallo pinto, fried cheese, plantains and cabbage salad add up to a far better 3 a.m. dinner than any bar snack. Add rolled tacos if you like. Grab a table or take it to go. Details: Open 24 hours. 119 NW 12th Ave, Little Havana.

Yambo
1643 SW 1st St, Miami, FL 33135, USA
The room is half the reason to go: every surface is covered in carvings, paintings and Nicaraguan odds and ends. Order fritanga-style grilled meats with gallo pinto, fried cheese, plantains and salad, and make sure the carne asada is on the plate. It's open all day and all night. Details: Open 24 hours. 1643 SW 1st St, Little Havana.

Flanigan's Seafood Bar & Grill
2721 Bird Ave, Coconut Grove, FL 33133, USA
Locals still call the Grove branch the Loggerhead, and unlike most of its siblings it serves into the morning every night. Baby back ribs are the order, with wings, burgers and seafood for everyone else. Expect a full room and a wait on Saturday nights. Details: Food until 4:30 a.m. daily. 2721 Bird Ave, Coconut Grove.
Late-Night Food in West Miami and Hialeah
Out west, late-night means Cuban pizza, tacos and steak sandwiches. These make the most sense if you're already headed toward the airport, Doral or Hialeah.

Tacos El Carnal
6888 W Flagler St, Miami, FL 33144, USA
Simple, very good tacos: al pastor, lengua, carnitas and the rest of the classics. The 4:30 a.m. weekend close makes it the latest serious taco option in the city. It's a drive from the Beach, so save it for when you're already on the west side. Details: Food until 4:30 a.m. Fri–Sat; earlier other nights. 6888 W Flagler St, West Miami.

Nikki Pizza La Original
4360 NW 7th St, Miami, FL 33126, USA
Cuban pizza is its own thing: a soft, thick crust, sweet sauce, plenty of cheese and a personal-pie size. Nikki makes it around the clock near the airport. Start with plain cheese or ham. Details: Open 24 hours. 4360 NW 7th St, Miami.

Rey Pizza (W Flagler)
2391 W Flagler St, Miami, FL 33135, USA
The Cuban pizza chain that started in Little Havana in 1985, still running all night. Pies have a thick, doughy crust with the toppings under a heavy layer of cheese, and the menu adds pasta, sandwiches, breakfast and shakes. Go to whichever branch is closest; the W Flagler original is the classic. Details: Open 24 hours. 2391 W Flagler St (Little Havana), 6340 SW 8th St (West Miami) and 2486 SW 137th Ave (West Kendall).

Tu Pan
2931 W 12th Ave, Hialeah, FL 33012, USA
A 24-hour Cuban bakery with a walk-up window, famous for a king-size pan con bistec, plus croquetas, pastries and coffee. It's a Hialeah staple, not a detour from Miami Beach. Bring cash; there's an ATM on site if you forget. Details: Open 24 hours. Cash only. 2931 W 12th Ave, Hialeah.
More Late-Night Options in Miami
These are worth knowing, but their kitchens close earlier or their late hours only apply some nights.
- Versailles (3555 SW 8th St, Little Havana). The classic Calle Ocho Cuban restaurant serves until about midnight on weeknights and 1 a.m. Friday and Saturday. It's not a 3 a.m. stop, but it's the right call after a late flight or event when you still want a full plate, or just a cafecito and pastelito from the window.
- Café La Trova (971 SW 8th St, Little Havana). Cuban food, live music and some of the best cocktails in the city. Dinner runs until midnight on Friday and Saturday, and the '80s-themed back bar keeps going until 2 a.m. Book ahead if you want a table for dinner.
- Los Perros (Miami Lakes and other branches). Colombian hot dogs, burgers, maicitos and salchipapas, served until 3 a.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 a.m. other nights.
- The Taco Stand (313 NW 25th St, Wynwood; also on Calle Ocho and Lincoln Road). Great carne asada fries, tacos and burritos, with Wynwood open until about 1 a.m. on weekends. Good for the start of a late night more than the end of one.
