Phoenix happy hours start early and run long. Several begin before lunch is over, a handful last until 7, and plenty of the food menus are big enough to become dinner: $3 slices and pints on Indian School, 25% off sushi on Roosevelt Row, $2.50 oysters on Camelback.
This guide covers 38 happy hours across Phoenix, Old Town Scottsdale and Tempe, each with the days, hours, prices and seating rules it posts. The Valley is spread out, so use the map to start with what's near you, and cross town only for a deal you can't get closer. Everything was checked on October 24, 2026.

Happy Hours in Downtown Phoenix, Roosevelt Row and Garfield
Downtown has the most happy hours in one walkable stretch: cocktail bars a few blocks from Footprint Center, patios on Roosevelt Row and cheap food deals in Garfield. Pedal Haus's original brewery on Mill Avenue in Tempe is covered in the Pedal Haus listing here.

Little Rituals
132 S Central Ave 4th Floor, Phoenix, AZ 85004, USA
A cocktail lounge on the fourth floor of the Residence Inn and Courtyard downtown, on the same block as Bitter & Twisted. Aperitivo Hour runs from the 5pm opening until 6, so it's one tight hour, but the $20 pairings get you a drink and a plate from a list that usually costs a lot more. Happy hour: Tue–Sun, 5–6pm (Aperitivo Hour, from opening) The deal: $12 martinis, negronis, spritzes and wine; $20 pairings, like tacos with a Tommy's margarita or a burger with a boilermaker Good to know: Closed Mondays. 21 and over.

Palma
903 N 2nd St, Phoenix, AZ 85004, USA
A sushi and cocktail spot at 2nd and Garfield with a big, palm-filled patio, misters in summer and fire pits in winter. The eight-hour window covers a late lunch, an after-work drink and the friend who can't get out until 6. Happy hour: Mon–Fri, 11am–7pm The deal: $9 frozen cocktails, $8 prosecco, $6 drafts, $5 California rolls and $5 Thai curry fries

Sake Haus
214 E Roosevelt St, Phoenix, AZ 85004, USA
A dark, loud sushi and sake bar in the monOrchid building, from the team behind Pedal Haus next door. The discount covers the whole food menu, so you can build dinner out of nigiri, hand rolls and small plates. It's better for a lively date or a small group than a quiet catch-up. Happy hour: Mon–Fri, 4–6pm, dine-in The deal: 25% off every food item; half off glasses of sake, beer and hot sake Good to know: Cashless. Check hours before a Tuesday visit.

BARCOA Agaveria
829 N 1st Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85003, USA
A Mexican-spirits bar in two parts: an open-air Cantina at street level and a darker cocktail bar downstairs. Happy hour lives in the Cantina, where $7 covers a margarita or a straight pour of tequila or mezcal. If the drinks are the whole plan, book the downstairs bar for later. Happy hour: Tue–Fri, 4–6pm, in the Cantina The deal: $7 margaritas, mezcalritas, palomas, micheladas, ranch waters and select tequilas and mezcals Good to know: Closed Mondays.

Bitter & Twisted Cocktail Parlour
1 W Jefferson St, Phoenix, AZ 85003, USA
Ross Simon's cocktail parlour in the historic Luhrs Building. Happy hour covers a short list of featured cocktails and enough food for an early dinner, and the room fills up once the after-work crowd turns into date night. Happy hour: Tue–Fri, 4–6pm The deal: $13 featured cocktails, $8 prosecco, $8 hurricane popcorn, $13 plates like shrimp tacos, buffalo cauliflower and green-chile mac Good to know: 21 and over. Closed Sunday and Monday.

The Arrogant Butcher
2 E Jefferson St #150, Phoenix, AZ 85004, USA
A big, polished American restaurant in CityScape, a short walk from Footprint Center and Chase Field. Happy hour starts at 2 and ends at 5, so treat it as an early pregame, and on game and concert nights get there well before the window closes. Happy hour: Mon–Fri, 2–5pm, at the bar The deal: Discounted classic cocktails, $7 house wine, $5 draft pints Good to know: Bar seats only. A dining-room reservation doesn't get you the deal.

Chula Seafood Downtown
455 N 3rd St #1180, Phoenix, AZ 85004, USA
Chula's fourth Valley location, a seafood market and restaurant that opened in Arizona Center in June 2026. It runs the same happy hour as the other Chulas, and Sunday is the day to come, when the deal lasts from open to close. Happy hour: Mon–Sat, 3–5pm; all day Sunday The deal: $1 off raw and grilled oysters, plus discounted beer, wine, cocktails and seafood plates

Gallo Blanco
928 E Pierce St, Phoenix, AZ 85006, USA
A relaxed Mexican café in the Garfield neighborhood with a patio and a regular crowd. A few tacos and a margarita make dinner, and the deal runs every day, weekends included. Happy hour: Daily, 3–6pm The deal: $5 draft beer and wine, $7 margaritas, $1 off tacos

Welcome Diner
929 E Pierce St, Phoenix, AZ 85006, USA
A small, Southern-leaning diner across the street from Gallo Blanco, with blue booths and a disco ball. A chicken biscuit and a Hamm's costs $6, which is about as cheap as a good dinner gets downtown, and the Friday and Saturday late window catches people coming out of shows. Happy hour: Daily, 3–6pm; all day Tuesday; Fri–Sat, 10pm–midnight The deal: $1 Hamm's, $5 Lil' Birdy chicken biscuit, $10 Welcome Burger

Lucky's Indoor Outdoor
817 N 2nd St, Phoenix, AZ 85004, USA
A casual indoor-outdoor bar on 2nd Street with more space than most of Roosevelt Row's cocktail bars. Nothing on the menu needs explaining, and the deal lasts until 7. Happy hour: Mon–Fri, 4–7pm The deal: $6 wells, $5 drafts, $4 PBR, $3 Jell-O shots, $2 off signature cocktails

Pedal Haus Brewery Roosevelt Row
214 E Roosevelt St Ste 4, Phoenix, AZ 85004, USA
A Tempe brewery whose Phoenix taproom shares the monOrchid building with Sake Haus. The order is a house lager and the $9 burger. The original brewery on Mill Avenue runs the same weekday window, which makes it the easy happy hour near ASU. Happy hour: Mon–Fri, 3–6pm, at both locations The deal: $2 off select Haus drafts (Day Drinker lager included), $5 wells, $6 Haus margaritas and wine, $9 Happy Burger Good to know: At the Tempe location, dogs eat free during happy hour. Locations: 214 E Roosevelt St, Suite 4, Phoenix, and 730 S Mill Ave, Suite 102, Tempe.

The Greyhound, frozen or on the rocks, is the house drink, and it works when one person wants a cocktail and someone else wants a burger or a salad quickly. Happy hour: Daily, 3–6pm The deal: $6 house cocktails and highballs

Happy Hours in Central Phoenix and Uptown
Central Avenue, 7th Street and Indian School Road have the city's best everyday values, from $3 slices at The Starving Artist to $6 pitchers at Windsor until 5. Windsor, Federal Pizza and Postino (under Arcadia) are all Upward Projects restaurants and share that $6-until-5 deal.

Windsor
5223 N Central Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85012, USA
An Upward Projects bar and kitchen on Central, with a sprawling patio and a menu built around burgers. The deal runs every day, so it covers weekend brunch, a Saturday afternoon and a weekday work meeting. Happy hour: Daily until 5pm The deal: $6 signature cocktails, glasses of wine and pitchers of beer

Federal Pizza
5210 N Central Ave #104, Phoenix, AZ 85012, USA
A wood-fired pizza place in a restored 1950s bank building by architect Al Beadle, across Central from Windsor. The daytime deal matches Windsor's. The reason to come here specifically is Pie + Pour, one of the few deals in town made for people who can't leave work at 4. Happy hour: Daily until 5pm; Pie + Pour, Mon and Tue, 8–11pm The deal: $6 pitchers, wine coolers and wine by the glass until 5. Pie + Pour: any pizza with a bottle of house wine or two pitchers of beer for $30.

The Starving Artist
2144 E Indian School Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85016, USA
A pizza bar pouring O.H.S.O. beer, with pool tables, darts and arcade games. A pint and two slices come to $9, and the games mean nobody's in a hurry to move on to dinner. Happy hour: Mon–Fri, 3–6pm The deal: $3 O.H.S.O. pints, $3 cheese or pepperoni slices, $4 street tacos, $10 cocktails and wine

The Wandering Tortoise
2417 E Indian School Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85016, USA
A bottle shop and taproom near 24th Street with a rotating board of craft beer and wine. Since August 2026 it has a permanent food stand in the lot, Transfer Station, so you can eat without leaving. Come for a good pour in a low-key room, not frozen margaritas. Happy hour: Daily until 7:30pm The deal: $3 off glasses of wine and discounts on select beers Good to know: Transfer Station opens at 3pm Monday and Friday, 4pm Tuesday to Thursday and 11am on weekends, so weekday afternoons are drinks only. Parking is tight.

Clever Koi
4236 N Central Ave #100, Phoenix, AZ 85012, USA
An Asian restaurant on Central with ramen, rice bowls and a serious cocktail list. Happy hour runs seven hours a day, every day, and It Takes Two covers a full dinner for two early in the week. Doughbird North Central
5600 N 7th St St #100, Phoenix, AZ 85014, USA
Fox Restaurant Concepts' pizza and rotisserie chicken spot, next door to Culinary Dropout on 7th Street. A personal pizza and a frozen drink come to $16, which makes this a real early dinner. Happy hour: Mon–Fri, 3–6pm, at the bar and patio The deal: $8 cocktails and frozen drinks, half-price wine by the glass, $6 sangria, $5 drafts, $8 personal cheese pizza, $12 burger or chicken sandwich

The Original Whining Pig
1612 E Bethany Home Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85016, USA
A small beer and wine bar where the selection matters more than cocktails. There's no full kitchen, but outside food is welcome, and Aftermath is a block away if you want to move on to dinner. Happy hour: Tue–Sun, 3–7pm The deal: $1 off beer, cider and seltzer; $2 off wine by the glass Good to know: Closed Mondays. Karaoke on Tuesday and Friday nights.

Aftermath
1534 E Bethany Home Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85014, USA
A restaurant and bar on Bethany Home, a block from The Whining Pig, with a room that feels more like date night than a neighborhood bar. The beer deals are the draw; happy-hour cocktails are $13, so order a beer and a plate. Happy hour: Daily, 4–6pm The deal: $5 Michelob Ultra, $6 Pacifico, select drafts $7, select wines $8, plus shrimp cocktail and wings
Happy Hours in Arcadia, the Biltmore and North Phoenix
Arcadia and the Camelback corridor are where the restaurant happy hours are: oysters at Buck & Rider and FLINT, wine at Postino, and food menus that can replace dinner. Watch the seating rules here. The Mexicano is farther north, at Tatum and Cactus.

Postino Arcadia
3939 E Campbell Ave #100, Phoenix, AZ 85018, USA
The first Postino, and still the one with the most character. The until-5 deal runs every day, weekends included, so it's the wine catch-up that works on a Saturday. Board + Bottle is the late version, after 8 on Monday and Tuesday. Happy hour: Daily until 5pm; Board + Bottle, Mon and Tue after 8pm The deal: $6 glasses of wine and $6 pitchers of beer. Board + Bottle: a bruschetta board and a bottle of wine for $25.

O.H.S.O. Brewery Arcadia
4900 E Indian School Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85018, USA
An Arcadia brewpub with a big patio where dogs are part of the crowd. The drink deal starts at 11 on weekdays, and the Friday and Saturday reverse happy hour makes it one of the few late options in this part of town. Happy hour: Mon–Fri, drinks 11am–6pm and food 3–6pm; reverse happy hour Fri–Sat, 10pm–midnight The deal: $8 house cocktails, glasses of wine and Arizona beer pitchers; $3 dips and $3 Lager Time pints from 3pm

Buck & Rider
4225 E Camelback Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85018, USA
A seafood restaurant on Camelback with oysters and shrimp flown in daily. Happy hour is limited to the oyster bar and the Alcove, so seats go fast on Friday and Saturday. The start of the window is much easier than 6:30. Happy hour: Daily, 3–7pm, at Abby's Oyster Bar and the Alcove The deal: $2.50 raw oysters, $3 Oishii shrimp, $11 signature cocktails, $9 highballs, $8 wine, $7 drafts, $12 small bites Good to know: The deal doesn't apply in the main dining room.

FLINT by Baltaire
2425 E Camelback Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85016, USA
A Mediterranean restaurant from the Baltaire team at 24th Street and Camelback. Hummus or falafel with a $5 beer is a light stop after work, and the $2 oysters are the cheapest in this guide. Happy hour: Mon–Fri, 3–6pm The deal: $2 oysters, $10 spicy margarita, $12 old fashioned, $5 draft beer, Mediterranean bites from $7 Good to know: The rooftop, Upstairs at FLINT, is open Wednesday to Saturday from 4pm in season.

The Gladly
2201 E Camelback Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85016, USA
A Camelback restaurant whose drink deals start at 11 in the morning. The bar snacks are good enough that one round easily becomes dinner, which suits a business drink with no fixed end time. Happy hour: Weekdays, drinks 11am–6pm and food 3–6pm The deal: $9 featured wine, $12 draft cocktails and house whiskey pick, $5 bacon-fat popcorn, $8 sausage-and-pretzel plate, $8 Brussels sprouts

The Mexicano
4801 E Cactus Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85254, USA
Chef Joey Maggiore's loud, colorful Mexican restaurant at Tatum and Cactus, with DJs on weekend nights. Happy hour never ends, which is rare, but it only counts in the bar area, so ask for it when you walk in. Happy hour: All day, every day, in the bar area The deal: Discounted margaritas, tacos, nachos and shareables; $3 off taco plates 3–6pm; half-off margaritas Monday; a $3 margarita with a happy-hour taco Tuesday Good to know: Bar area and dine-in only. Holidays are excluded.
Happy Hours in Scottsdale
Old Town's best happy hours are about food: oysters at Pinyon, a $15 burger at Citizen Public House and a sushi omakase at Uchi. Diego Pops and Olive & Ivy are the easy patio picks, and every Scottsdale pick except Olive & Ivy runs on weekends.

Pinyon
7363 E Scottsdale Mall, Scottsdale, AZ 85251, USA
A coastal Mediterranean restaurant on Civic Center Park. Both bars run happy hour every day until 7, first come, first served, so the first hour is safer if oysters are the plan. Happy hour: Daily, 3–7pm, at the upstairs and downstairs bars The deal: $2.75 oysters, $3.25 Oishii shrimp, $11 cocktails and spritzes, $9 highballs, $8 wine, $7 drafts, hummus and dips Good to know: No reservations for happy hour.

Citizen Public House
7111 E 5th Ave, Scottsdale, AZ 85251, USA
An Old Town gastropub built around a big four-sided bar. The $15 burger and meatloaf are full-size, so this is dinner, and the $10 Manhattan is the drink to order. Happy hour: Daily, 4–6pm, dine-in The deal: $10 cocktails including the Manhattan, $8 wine, $25 bottles, $1 chili crunch wings, $15 Good Citizen burger or Matinee Meatloaf

Diego Pops
4338 N Scottsdale Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85251, USA
A bright, patio-first Mexican spot in Old Town. Half-price appetizers and $6 margaritas stretch easily across a group, and Monday's all-day $3 tacos turn it into a meal. Happy hour: Daily, 3–6pm, dine-in The deal: $6 Diego margarita, wine and sangria, $2 off beer, half-price appetizers; $3 tacos all day Monday

Roaring Fork
4800 N Scottsdale Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85251, USA
An American Western bistro that cooks most of its signature dishes over wood. Sit in the saloon, not the dining room, and a margarita with a plate is a cheaper way into the menu. It gets crowded, so go early. Happy hour: Daily, 4–6pm, in the bar and saloon The deal: $8 Little Larry and Raging Rita margaritas, $8 wine, $10 margaritas and martinis, plates from $10, Big Ass Burger $17 Good to know: Bar and saloon only.

Olive & Ivy
7135 E Camelback Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85251, USA
A Mediterranean restaurant on the Scottsdale Waterfront canal. Flatbreads and bruschetta are made for sharing, and Monday's half-price bottles are a good reason to stretch lunch into the afternoon. Happy hour: Mon–Fri, 3–6pm, in the bar and lounges; half-price bottles all day Monday The deal: $10 wine, $5 beer, $11 cocktails and martinis, flatbreads, bruschetta and small Mediterranean plates Good to know: The Monday bottle deal is dine-in.

Uchi Scottsdale
3821 N Scottsdale Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85251, USA
Tyson Cole's Austin-born sushi restaurant, and the splurge on this list. The happy-hour omakase makes the decisions for you at a fraction of what dinner costs, and it runs every day, weekends included. Happy hour: Daily, 4–6pm The deal: Most plates $4–20, $10 cocktails, sake from $7, an eight-course happy-hour omakase for two at $120

The Ends
7137 E Stetson Dr Ste 12, Scottsdale, AZ 85251, USA
An Old Town restaurant inspired by Anthony Bourdain's travels, cooking in beef tallow instead of seed oils. Half-price bottles are the move, and the room feels like dinner, not an Old Town party bar. Happy hour: Daily, 4–6pm The deal: Half-price wine by the glass and bottle, plus small plates and cocktails on the happy-hour menu
Happy Hours in Tempe and Ahwatukee
Blue Sushi sits near ASU, Ghost Ranch is in South Tempe and Wren Südhalle is just across the line in Ahwatukee. On Mill Avenue, Pedal Haus's original brewery runs the same weekday deal as its Roosevelt Row taproom; it's in the Pedal Haus listing under Downtown.

Blue Sushi Sake Grill
690 S Novus Pl Apt 183, Tempe, AZ 85281, USA
A sushi restaurant in the Novus Place development near ASU. Phoenix Happy Hour Tips
Sit where the deal is. The Arrogant Butcher, Pinyon, Roaring Fork, Olive & Ivy and The Mexicano only discount at the bar, lounge or a designated bar area. Buck & Rider's deal is at its oyster bar and the Alcove, and Doughbird's at the bar and patio. Sake Haus, HULA'S, Citizen Public House and Diego Pops are dine-in only. A dining-room reservation can put you in the wrong seat.
Get downtown early on event nights. Suns, Mercury, Diamondbacks and concert nights can fill The Arrogant Butcher, Bitter & Twisted and Little Rituals fast. Show up at the start of the window, not right before the event.
Check before you go. Every schedule was checked on October 24, 2026, but happy hours change, and holidays can pause them. If one deal is the whole reason for the trip, look at the venue's menu that day.
