Best College Football Bars in Atlanta, by School (2026)
Where every fan base watches in Atlanta, Sandy Springs, Cobb and the northern suburbs, plus the best neutral sports bars for a full Saturday of games.

Run a business in this guide, or want yours added? Get in touch.
Atlanta has dozens of temporary home fields on a fall Saturday. Alabama fans fill Smith's Olde Bar, Auburn takes over the Bucket Shop, Texas A&M gathers at Fadó Buckhead, Ohio State occupies Hudson Grille in Sandy Springs and West Virginia heads to Laseter's in Vinings. The useful distinction isn't which bar shows football. It's whether a place is an official season-long home, a spot the chapter books for selected games, or simply a bar where a school's fans tend to end up.
This guide keeps those three categories apart. It starts with quick picks, then a table of every school and its current Atlanta bar, then goes conference by conference with the detail that matters on the day. After that come the best neutral sports bars for anyone whose team doesn't have a local crowd, and some game-day advice that applies everywhere. Suburbs are labeled throughout, because "Atlanta-area" can mean Sandy Springs, Marietta, Peachtree Corners or Cumming, and that changes your afternoon.
Everything here was checked against alumni chapter pages, venue listings and local reporting in October 2026. Where a school's current home couldn't be confirmed, we say so rather than guessing.

Every School and Its Atlanta Bar, by Conference
"Every game" means the chapter or the bar says it's the season-long home. "Select games" means the chapter books particular matchups, so open its latest post before you go. "Fan stronghold" means the school connection is real but we couldn't find a chapter commitment covering every Saturday. Schools without a confirmed 2026 home are listed at the end of each conference section.

Don't see your school? Scroll to the end of its conference section. Arkansas, Missouri, Maryland and a good chunk of the ACC and Big 12 don't have a confirmed Atlanta home this season, and we'd rather say so than send you to the wrong bar.
SEC Football Bars in Atlanta
Atlanta's deepest watch network belongs to the SEC. Several schools have more than one venue, and Georgia's chapter deliberately moves its events around the metro.
Alabama Crimson Tide Bars in Atlanta
Every game. The Atlanta Bama chapter lists two weekly homes. Smith's Olde Bar is the more distinctive pick: tighter, louder and more old-school. Hudson Grille Midtown is easier for a big group, with predictable sightlines and room when several important games overlap.

Smith's Olde Bar
1578 Piedmont Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30324, USA
Alabama's atmosphere pick: a tight, loud Piedmont Avenue bar with the chapter in the room. The bar side now goes by SOB; same place.

Hudson Grille Midtown
942 Peachtree St NE, Atlanta, GA 30309, USA
Alabama's big-group option, with more screens and easier sightlines than Smith's.
Arkansas Razorbacks Bars in Atlanta
No confirmed 2026 home. Arkansas alumni have gathered at Tony's Sports Grill in past seasons, but the Alpharetta location has closed and the university's directory doesn't name an Atlanta bar for 2026. Check the local Razorbacks chapter for individual gatherings.
Auburn Tigers Bars in Atlanta
Every game. The Auburn club names Bucket Shop Cafe in Buckhead as its 2026 game-watch home, and the bar is built for it: 15 TVs, a big patio with more screens and customer parking. It's 21 and over, so not the family plan.

Bucket Shop Cafe
3475 Lenox Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30326, USA
Auburn's official 2026 home next to Lenox Square. Fifteen TVs, a screen-lined patio and a 21+ door.
Florida Gators Bars in Atlanta
Every game. The Atlanta Gator Club moved its 2026 watch parties to Pontoon Brewing in Sandy Springs. Pontoon was founded by Florida alumni, has a big taproom and patio, welcomes families and dogs, and runs on food trucks rather than a sports-bar kitchen. Older guides still send Gators to Fadó; Pontoon is the current answer.

Pontoon Brewing Company
8601 Dunwoody Pl #500, Sandy Springs, GA 30350, USA
The Gator Club's 2026 home. Founded by Florida alumni; taproom, patio, dogs and kids welcome, food trucks for dinner.
Georgia Bulldogs Bars in Atlanta
Select games, rotating. There's no single official UGA bar in Atlanta. The chapter moves its larger watches around the metro: Monday Night Brewing's The Grove in West Midtown is the recurring anchor, with 2026 events also at Roswell Junction, Tucker Town Green and a Chamblee gathering. Check the chapter calendar for the week. For a dependable Georgia-heavy crowd without a chapter event, Monday Night or Park Tavern is the move.

Monday Night Brewing - The Grove
670 Trabert Ave NW, Atlanta, GA 30318, USA
The UGA chapter's most-used venue, a new Westside taproom on the Northwest BeltLine. Not every week, so check the calendar.

Roswell Junction
340 S Atlanta St, Roswell, GA 30075, USA
A rotating UGA chapter venue in 2026 (Vanderbilt and Alabama weekends). Food-hall setup in downtown Roswell.

Park Tavern
500 10th St NE, Atlanta, GA 30309, USA
Not a chapter venue, but the outdoor Georgia-leaning fallback on Piedmont Park. Confirm which game gets sound.
Kentucky Wildcats Bars in Atlanta
Fan stronghold. Wicked Wolf on Peachtree in Midtown has become the Atlanta gathering spot for Kentucky fans across football and basketball. It's higher-energy and more nightlife than a neighborhood pub, which suits the big games. We couldn't find a UK Alumni Association listing naming it, so treat it as the fan bar rather than an official chapter home.

Wicked Wolf Atlanta
1080 Peachtree St NE Unit 7, Atlanta, GA 30309, USA
Kentucky's Atlanta spot: lively, late and in Midtown near 11th Street, not Buckhead. The bar's own programming leans soccer.
LSU Tigers Bars in Atlanta
Every game, three options. The LSU Alumni Atlanta network lists three bars: Big Easy Grille on Collier Road for intown and northwest Atlanta, The Po'Boy Shop in Decatur for Louisiana food and the eastside, and Atkins Park in Smyrna for Cobb County.

Big Easy Grille
1193 Collier Rd NW D, Atlanta, GA 30318, USA
LSU's intown option between West Midtown and Buckhead. Kitchen closes at 9, so it suits day games.

The Po'Boy Shop & Basement Bar
1369 Clairmont Rd, Decatur, GA 30033, USA
LSU's eastside bar near Emory, with a basement bar for the game and real Louisiana food upstairs.

Atkins Park Tavern
2840 Atlanta Rd SE, Smyrna, GA 30080, USA
LSU's Cobb County option in Smyrna Market Village, with late weekend hours.
Mississippi State Bulldogs Bars in Atlanta
Every game. The Atlanta Mississippi State chapter calls Taco Mac Prado in Sandy Springs home for all 2026 watches. High capacity, a long beer list and a familiar northside alumni crowd.

Taco Mac Prado
5600 Roswell Rd Ste M-003, Sandy Springs, GA 30342, USA
Mississippi State's every-game home. Shared with Indiana, Notre Dame and Louisville, so find your section.
Missouri Tigers Bars in Atlanta
No confirmed 2026 home. Missouri's game-watch locator doesn't surface a permanent Atlanta location this season. Local fans may organize individual gatherings; check the chapter before a big game.
Oklahoma Sooners Bars in Atlanta
Every game. The OU Club of Atlanta uses Hudson Grille Sandy Springs for football. Hudson hosts several alumni groups at once, so the club's weekly post tells you which area has the game and the sound.

Hudson Grille Sandy Springs
6317 Roswell Rd NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328, USA
Oklahoma's room at the northside alumni headquarters. Check the club post for the designated area.
Ole Miss Rebels Bars in Atlanta
Select games. The Atlanta Ole Miss network has scheduled 2026 viewing events at Mutation Brewing in Sandy Springs. The evidence supports chapter events, not a guaranteed every-game home, so verify the week's calendar.

Mutation Brewing and Distilling Company
5825 Roswell Rd NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328, USA
Ole Miss chapter events at a Sandy Springs brewery and distillery with a busy calendar.
South Carolina Gamecocks Bars in Atlanta
Select games. South Carolina's 2026 network includes Hudson Grille Sandy Springs for scheduled games later in the season. Strong when there's a gathering; the posted schedule doesn't cover every Saturday.

Hudson Grille Sandy Springs
6317 Roswell Rd NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328, USA
The Gamecocks' scheduled-game venue on the northside.
Tennessee Volunteers Bars in Atlanta
Select games. The Atlanta Vols' 2026 calendar uses Taffer's Tavern Midtown for selected watches, including conference games. Older guides point to Lost Dog; Taffer's is the current listing, and it opened only in February 2026, so expect a newer, polished room.

Taffer's Tavern Midtown Atlanta
1382 Peachtree St NE Ste 200, Atlanta, GA 30309, USA
Tennessee's current chapter venue, new in 2026 on Peachtree in the Nomia building.
Texas Longhorns Bars in Atlanta
Select games. Atlanta Texas Exes have been posting 2026 football events at Botica on Peachtree Road. It's a Spanish-Mexican restaurant more than a wings-and-beer bar, which is good news for a group that wants a real meal. The evidence is event-specific, so check the week's post.

Botica
1820 Peachtree Rd NW, Atlanta, GA 30309, USA
Texas Exes' restaurant-forward venue at The Brookwood. Better for dinner with the game than for a wall of screens.
Texas A&M Aggies Bars in Atlanta
Every game. The Atlanta A&M Club runs its football watches at Fadó Buckhead all season. Multiple viewing areas, a concentrated Aggie crowd and the supporters'-pub sound setup for the yells.

Fado Irish Pub
273 Buckhead Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30305, USA
Texas A&M's season-long home in Buckhead Village, the original Atlanta Fadó.
Vanderbilt Commodores Bars in Atlanta
Select games. Atlanta Dores organize selected events rather than a weekly takeover. The 2026 calendar includes Hudson Grille Midtown, so start there when the chapter posts an event.

Hudson Grille Midtown
942 Peachtree St NE, Atlanta, GA 30309, USA
Vanderbilt's selected-game venue in Midtown.
ACC Football Bars in Atlanta
Georgia Tech runs a four-venue metro network, Florida State and North Carolina have two rooms each, and Clemson's 2026 home is a pop-up with an expiration date.
Clemson Tigers Bars in Atlanta
Select games. The Atlanta Clemson Club's 2026 events use LikeMinds ATL, a sports-bar pop-up next to Krog Street Market. It's central and walkable, which most suburban chapter bars aren't. One caveat: it's a temporary concept extended only through December 2026, so this entry needs re-checking for 2027.

LikeMinds
112 Krog St NE, Atlanta, GA 30307, USA
Clemson's 2026 venue, a pop-up in the former BrewDog space on the Eastside BeltLine. Temporary through December.
Florida State Seminoles Bars in Atlanta
Every game. Dr. Scofflaw's at The Works is the Atlanta Seminole Club's strongest central home, with Harry's Pizza & Subs in Marietta as the secondary venue for fans outside the Perimeter. Start with Scofflaw's for the fullest FSU atmosphere.

Dr. Scofflaw's at The Works
214 Chattahoochee Row NW, Atlanta, GA 30318, USA
FSU's flagship Atlanta room, a brewery taproom with lots of outdoor space on the Upper Westside.

Harry's Pizza & Subs
2150 Powers Ferry Rd C, Atlanta, GA 30339, USA
FSU's OTP backup on Powers Ferry near I-285. Kitchen closes around 9, so better for afternoon kickoffs.
Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets Bars in Atlanta
Every game, four venues. Tech's official network covers the metro: New Realm Brewing on the BeltLine for central Atlanta, Mutation Brewing in Sandy Springs, Miller's Ale House in Kennesaw and The Grove Restaurant & Tavern in DeKalb. New Realm is the visitor's pick for its rooftop and the organized crowd.

New Realm Brewing Co.
550 Somerset Terrace NE #101, Atlanta, GA 30306, USA
Tech's central venue and one of the best-looking football settings in the city. Arrive early on nice weekends.

Tech's Cobb and northwest-suburbs stop.

The Grove Restaurant & Tavern

Tech's DeKalb venue on Lavista Road. Not Monday Night Brewing's The Grove.
Louisville Cardinals Bars in Atlanta
Select games. Louisville alumni have scheduled 2026 football events at Taco Mac Prado in Sandy Springs. Event-specific, so verify the chapter calendar rather than assuming a reserved room.

Taco Mac Prado
5600 Roswell Rd Ste M-003, Sandy Springs, GA 30342, USA
Louisville's selected-game venue, shared with three other schools.
Miami Hurricanes Bars in Atlanta
Every game. The Atlanta Canes identify Tony's Sports Grill in Peachtree Corners as their current home: plenty of screens, larger viewing areas and a covered patio. The Alpharetta Tony's has closed, so use the Jimmy Carter Boulevard address.

Tony’s Sports Grill
7160 Jimmy Carter Blvd, Peachtree Corners, GA 30092, USA
Miami's home in Peachtree Corners. The Alpharetta location is gone; this is the live one.
North Carolina Tar Heels Bars in Atlanta
Every game, two rooms. The Atlanta Carolina Club uses both Hudson Grille Sandy Springs and Hudson Grille Midtown, giving Tar Heels a northside and an intown option. The club listing says which one is emphasized on a given Saturday.

Hudson Grille Sandy Springs
6317 Roswell Rd NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328, USA
UNC's northside room.

Virginia Cavaliers Bars in Atlanta
Select games. The Atlanta UVA network has used Whitehall Tavern in Buckhead for 2026 football events, and it holds up as a general sports spot when the chapter isn't gathering.

Whitehall Tavern
2391 Peachtree Rd, Atlanta, GA 30305, USA
UVA's Buckhead venue. More sit-down meal than packed sports bar.
Virginia Tech Hokies Bars in Atlanta
Every game. Atlanta Hokies gather at The Harvey in Chamblee, a rooftop sports bar that feels like a neighborhood restaurant rather than a viewing hall. Yelp named it one of the top 100 sports bars in the country in 2026.

The Harvey
5480 Peachtree Rd, Chamblee, GA 30341, USA
Virginia Tech's official Atlanta location in Old Downtown Chamblee. Turf area for kids, adults-only rooftop.
Georgia Southern Eagles Bars in Atlanta
Fan stronghold. Rose & Crown Tavern in the Cumberland/Vinings area is the clearest Atlanta-area Eagles bar, with a school connection that runs deeper than a one-off alumni event. It reopened in 2023 after a redevelopment with a bigger room.

Rose & Crown
1935 Powers Ferry Rd 1st Floor, Atlanta, GA 30339, USA
Georgia Southern's bar on Powers Ferry Road in Cobb County, not intown.
Boston College, Cal, Duke, NC State, Pitt, SMU, Stanford, Syracuse and Wake Forest
No confirmed 2026 home. None of these had a publicly announced season-long Atlanta football home in the sources we used. Chapters may arrange individual watches; an old event listing isn't a current one.
Georgia State and Kennesaw State
No fixed away-game bar. We couldn't identify a consistent public away-game bar for either fan base. For road games, use the neutral bars below and confirm the broadcast in advance.
Big Ten Football Bars in Atlanta
Michigan runs a four-bar network across the metro, Ohio State owns the northside, and Hudson Grille Sandy Springs and Taco Mac Prado do a lot of the work for everyone else.
Illinois Fighting Illini Bars in Atlanta
Select games. The Atlanta Illini calendar lists repeated 2026 football gatherings at Red Pepper Taqueria in Dunwoody. The repeat pattern is reassuring, though the date-specific schedule is still worth checking. It's the last Red Pepper location after the chain closed its intown spots.

Red Pepper Taqueria
4555 Ashford Dunwoody Rd, Dunwoody, GA 30346, USA
Illinois's recurring 2026 venue in Dunwoody. Worth a quick call before you drive.

Indiana's chapter home on the northside.
Iowa Hawkeyes Bars in Atlanta
Every game, two options. Iowa's current watch list names McCray's Tavern Midtown for intown fans and Mazzy's in Roswell for north Fulton.

The U-M Club of Atlanta lists Fadó Midtown for intown fans, Pepperoni's Tavern in Alpharetta for north Fulton, and Dave & Buster's in Marietta and Lawrenceville for Cobb and Gwinnett. Fadó is the simplest choice for visitors; Pepperoni's is the family option. CHIRINGA appears in older guides but not on the club's current directory.

Fado Irish Pub
933 Peachtree St NE, Atlanta, GA 30309, USA
Michigan's intown room, with the supporters'-pub setup for chants and sound. Not the Buckhead Fadó.

Michigan's Gwinnett location at Sugarloaf Mills.
Michigan State Spartans Bars in Atlanta
Fan stronghold. The Nook across from Piedmont Park is Atlanta's best-known Spartan bar. Local coverage and alumni activity point here, but it's better described as a familiar fan stronghold than a guaranteed official event every week.

1144 Piedmont Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30309, USA
Michigan State's Atlanta bar, with a patio on the park.
Nebraska Cornhuskers Bars in Atlanta
Every game. Nebraska's alumni listing directs Atlanta fans to Mazzy's on Roswell Road in Marietta, a classic sports-bar setup for Cornhuskers in Cobb and the northwest suburbs.

2217 Roswell Rd, Marietta, GA 30062, USA
Rutgers' Atlanta venue, shared with Nebraska.
Wisconsin Badgers Bars in Atlanta
Fan stronghold. Atlanta Badgers gather at The Imperial in Decatur, a neighborhood pub in a 1920s gas station in Oakhurst. We couldn't find a current Wisconsin Alumni Association listing for it, so confirm on game week before counting on an organized crowd.

The Imperial
726 W College Ave, Decatur, GA 30030, USA
Wisconsin's Decatur pub. More local than a national chain; check the chapter before a big game.
Maryland, Minnesota, Northwestern, Purdue, UCLA, USC and Washington
No confirmed 2026 home. None had a current public season-long Atlanta bar in the sources used. Northwestern's national directory still lists Rosati's on Wieuca Road, which closed in 2022. Check local alumni pages for rivalry or postseason gatherings.
Big 12, Independents and Other Schools

Select games. Each has held a 2026 Atlanta watch: Southern Miss at New Realm Brewing, Illinois State's Homecoming watch at Rosati's in Cumming, Tulane at The Po'Boy Shop in Decatur and Southern University at One Atlanta Sports Lounge in Marietta. These are evidence of active alumni groups, not permanent every-game homes.

The Best Atlanta Bars When You Just Want to Watch Football
These work when your team doesn't have a local crowd, the chapter event is too far away, or your group wants to follow several games at once.
Sports & Social Atlanta
Best for: the biggest-screen experience
The two-level venue at The Battery centers on a 36-foot high-definition screen and backs it up with screens throughout the room, multiple bars and games. It can feel more like an event than a neighborhood pub, which is exactly the appeal for a marquee national game. Ideal for Cobb County and anyone staying at The Battery; less convenient for Midtown visitors without a car.

Sports & Social Atlanta
825 Battery Ave SE #600, Atlanta, GA 30339, USA
The biggest screen in the metro, at The Battery next to Truist Park.
STATS Brewpub
Best for: downtown and multiple games
More than 70 screens, seven separate audio zones and a multi-level layout near Centennial Olympic Park. The audio zones are what matter when several ranked teams kick off together. The obvious recommendation near the convention district, State Farm Arena and Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

STATS Brewpub
300 Marietta St NW Ste 101, Atlanta, GA 30313, USA
Downtown's screen-and-sound heavyweight, a short walk from the stadium.
Hudson Grille Sandy Springs
Best for: the northside alumni headquarters
This location shows up in official alumni directories for a reason: room for multiple fan bases, screens, parking and experience hosting big groups. Ohio State's chapter highlights the screen setup, patio and game sound; Oklahoma, South Carolina, Oregon, Colorado and North Carolina use it too. Less intimate than a neighborhood pub, exceptionally practical.

Hudson Grille Sandy Springs
6317 Roswell Rd NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328, USA
Where the northside alumni groups actually go. Check your chapter's post for the room.
Hudson Grille Midtown
Best for: central and versatile
The Midtown location hosts Alabama and North Carolina groups along with selected Vanderbilt gatherings. When there's no school-specific venue nearby, its central location and sports-first setup make it a sound default.

Hudson Grille Midtown
942 Peachtree St NE, Atlanta, GA 30309, USA
The intown default when your school has no Atlanta room.
Park Tavern
Best for: outdoor Georgia-heavy Saturdays
With Piedmont Park next door, Park Tavern is built for a pleasant-weather football afternoon and draws a Georgia crowd that wants outdoor space. Confirm which game gets sound, since the open format isn't an alumni room. Closed to the public during ONE Musicfest in late October.

Park Tavern
500 10th St NE, Atlanta, GA 30309, USA
The park-side outdoor option with a Bulldogs lean.
New Realm Brewing
Best for: a BeltLine brewery afternoon
New Realm's rooftop and outdoor areas make it one of the best-looking college football settings in Atlanta. It's part of Georgia Tech's official network and hosts selected events for other schools. Good weather brings heavy BeltLine traffic, so arrive early for organized watches.

New Realm Brewing Co.
550 Somerset Terrace NE #101, Atlanta, GA 30306, USA
Rooftop, patio and the Eastside Trail out front.
The Midway Pub
Best for: a neighborhood sports bar
East Atlanta Village's Midway Pub earns praise from local fans for posting game and TV assignments, which helps when your broadcast isn't the obvious one. Burgers, beer, a huge patio and parking behind the bar. Best for small groups and regulars rather than a big alumni takeover.

The Midway Pub
552 Flat Shoals Ave SE, Atlanta, GA 30316, USA
Posts its TV assignments, which is rarer than it should be.
Taco Mac Prado
Best for: multi-team northside viewing
Prado hosts Mississippi State, Indiana, Notre Dame and selected Louisville events. Its sibling Taco Mac Perimeter hosts Penn State and USF. Both suit large groups and mixed-loyalty friends, but a shared venue doesn't mean every screen belongs to one team.

Taco Mac Prado
5600 Roswell Rd Ste M-003, Sandy Springs, GA 30342, USA
Four schools share it. Find your section before you order.
Fadó Midtown
Best for: organized supporters' crowds
Fadó's background hosting soccer supporters translates well to college football. Midtown is Michigan's intown location; Buckhead is Texas A&M's. Both are better for a concentrated school crowd than for quietly monitoring five games.

Fado Irish Pub
933 Peachtree St NE, Atlanta, GA 30309, USA
Michigan's intown room, with pub sound built for chants.
Brewhouse Cafe
Best for: a Little Five Points classic
A longstanding Atlanta sports pub best known for soccer that also runs college football. A big match can take screen and sound priority, so call if two sports collide. This is the original Moreland Avenue bar; a second Brewhouse opened in South Downtown in 2026.

The Brewhouse Cafe
401 Moreland Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30307, USA
L5P's sports pub, soccer-first but college-friendly.
Irby's Tavern
Best for: a Buckhead fallback
A practical neighborhood sports tavern in Buckhead Village that accommodates requested broadcasts when it can. Useful for smaller groups when the larger alumni venues are packed or inconvenient.

Irby's Tavern
322 East Paces Ferry Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30305, USA
Buckhead's low-key backup for a smaller group.
Whitehall Tavern
Best for: a sit-down meal with football
Whitehall offers a more relaxed full-meal setting than a packed sports bar, and it hosts selected UVA gatherings. A good choice for a group that wants a proper table and a reliable broadcast.

Whitehall Tavern
2391 Peachtree Rd, Atlanta, GA 30305, USA
Table service and a reliable broadcast on Peachtree.
Bench Warmers Sports Grill
Best for: a traditional neighborhood sports bar
Bench Warmers has locations on Clairmont Road, in downtown Decatur and in Stockbridge. Sports viewing, screens, group reservations and a familiar wings-and-burgers atmosphere. Clairmont is the useful one for Emory, Brookhaven and the northeast side.

Bench Warmers Sports Grill
2775 Clairmont Rd, Atlanta, GA 30329, USA
Wings, screens and group tables on Clairmont Road.
Industry Tavern
Best for: a polished Buckhead option
Industry is more restaurant-forward than Hudson or Taco Mac, with a comfortable room for groups who care about the game but also want elevated tavern food. It has fewer recent signals online than the others here, so call ahead.

Industry Tavern
3280 Peachtree Rd NE #187, Atlanta, GA 30305, USA
Elevated tavern food with the game on. Confirm hours before you go.
Cypress Street Pint & Plate
Best for: Midtown locals and a patio
A longstanding Midtown pub next to Tech Square with indoor and outdoor seating. College games are commonly on, but patio screens aren't ideal for a must-watch broadcast. Choose an indoor seat for marquee games and note the later-night age restrictions.

Cypress Street Pint & Plate
817 W Peachtree St NW a180, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA
Midtown pub with a patio; sit inside for the big game.
Felix's Atlanta
Best for: LGBTQ+ welcoming football Saturdays
Felix's in Ansley Square runs college football Saturdays with the major games and complimentary snacks. A different crowd and energy from the alumni bars, and a welcome alternative to them.

Felix's Atlanta
1510 Piedmont Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30324, USA
Football Saturdays with snacks in Ansley Square.
Laseter's Tavern
Best for: Vinings, beyond Mountaineers games
Even on a non-WVU Saturday, Laseter's is a solid neighborhood sports tavern with late hours, parking and plenty of screens. When West Virginia is playing, the alumni crowd is the main draw.

Laseter's Tavern
4355 Cobb Pkwy SE, Atlanta, GA 30339, USA
Vinings' classic sports tavern, WVU's home.
Game-Day Advice That Actually Matters
Check the alumni page, not just the bar website
A bar can be open and showing football without hosting a team's organized crowd that week. This matters most for Georgia, Clemson, Tennessee, South Carolina and Oregon, whose chapters book specific games.
Arrive earlier than you think
For an ordinary noon game, 45 to 60 minutes early is sensible. For Georgia, Alabama, Ohio State, Michigan, Texas A&M or a major rivalry, allow 90 minutes or more. Popular bars fill well before kickoff.
Ask about game sound
A TV tuned to your game doesn't guarantee audible commentary. Alumni parties are more dependable for dedicated sound; at a neutral bar, call and ask which game has audio.
A shared venue isn't a shared atmosphere
Hudson Grille, Taco Mac and Mazzy's serve different schools over a season and sometimes on the same Saturday. The chapter's post should name the room, patio or reserved area.
Check age policies
Bucket Shop is 21+. Cypress Street has later-evening restrictions on certain nights. Pontoon Brewing works best for families and dogs. Policies change, so check before you travel with kids.
Plan around Atlanta geography
An "Atlanta-area" bar may be in Sandy Springs, Alpharetta, Marietta, Peachtree Corners, Sharpsburg or Cumming. A dedicated fan crowd can be worth the drive, but Midtown visitors without a car will usually have a better afternoon at an intown neutral bar.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the best overall college football bar in Atlanta?
For viewing infrastructure, Sports & Social at The Battery and STATS Brewpub downtown lead: Sports & Social has the giant central screen, STATS has 70-plus screens and separate audio zones. For alumni atmosphere, the best bar is whichever one your chapter has designated.
Where should Georgia fans watch in Atlanta?
Start with the UGA Atlanta chapter calendar, because its events rotate. Monday Night Brewing's The Grove is the recurring anchor, with Roswell Junction and Tucker Town Green on the 2026 schedule. Park Tavern is the outdoor fallback for a Georgia-leaning crowd.
What is the best intown bar for several games at once?
STATS Brewpub downtown has the deepest screen and audio coverage. Hudson Grille Midtown is the convenient Midtown pick, and The Midway Pub covers East Atlanta.
What is the best northside college football bar?
Hudson Grille Sandy Springs has the deepest mix of alumni events. Taco Mac Prado is the other northside hub, home to Mississippi State, Indiana and Notre Dame.
Where can a large group reserve space?
Sports & Social, STATS, Hudson Grille and Bench Warmers all have the scale or event infrastructure for larger parties. A booking doesn't automatically mean dedicated game sound, so ask directly.
Are the suburban bars worth the drive?
For your own school's organized crowd, usually yes: Laseter's in Vinings, The Harvey in Chamblee and Creatwood in Smyrna are real fan homes. For neutral viewing, stay intown.
What should fans do when their school isn't listed?
Check the school's Atlanta alumni chapter during game week. For neutral viewing, try STATS downtown, Hudson Grille Midtown or Sandy Springs, Sports & Social at The Battery, or The Midway Pub. Call ahead for smaller-market games.
