UK weddings often have two guest lists: day guests attend the ceremony and the wedding breakfast (the main sit-down meal), and evening guests join later for the party. That's why venues quote two numbers — Lainston House seats 130 for the wedding breakfast and holds 200 in the evening, and Bawburgh's packages are priced for 100 day and 150 evening guests.
When is the best time to get married in the UK?
May to September is peak season, and prices show it. Northbrook Park's Saturday hire is £4,500 in January and £16,000 in July and August, and Lainston House's exclusive use drops from £29,000 to £19,000 outside May–September. Chatsworth runs a winter package from January to March, and Bawburgh and Northbrook are cheaper on weekdays.
Can we have the whole venue to ourselves?
