When sharing travel recommendations and content on RoamRecs:
(a) Only post content you have the rights to share;
(b) Give proper credit if you're inspired by someone else's work;
(c) Be accurate — misleading information hurts other travelers.
These guidelines apply to all content shared on RoamRecs, including recommendations, collections, comments, messages, and profile information.
2. Be Respectful
RoamRecs is a community of travelers from diverse backgrounds. We expect all members to treat each other with respect:
(a) No harassment, bullying, or hate speech; (b) Avoid offensive, discriminatory, or threatening content; (c) Respect people's privacy — don't post personal data without consent.
3. Keep It Relevant
RoamRecs is designed for travel recommendations and experiences:
(a) Focus on travel — trips, places, recommendations, and experiences; (b) No spam, scams, or self-promotion that clutters the feed; (c) Reviews and comments should reflect genuine experiences.
4. Protect the Community
Help us maintain a safe and secure platform for all users:
(a) Don't upload malware, harmful links, or disruptive code; (b) Don't scrape, overload, or abuse the platform; (c) If you see something harmful, report it using the in-app tools or email us at contact@roamrecs.com; (d) Do not share content that promotes illegal activities, unsafe behavior, or harm to yourself or others.
5. Enforcement
Content or accounts that violate these guidelines may be removed or suspended. Serious or repeated violations may result in permanent bans. If you think we made a mistake, you can appeal by contacting us at contact@roamrecs.com. RoamRecs reserves the right to determine, in its sole discretion, whether content or behavior violates these Community Guidelines.
5.1 What Happens When Guidelines Are Violated
Depending on the severity and frequency of violations, we may:
(a) Issue a warning;
(b) Remove specific content;
(c) Temporarily suspend your account;
(d) Permanently ban repeat or serious offenders.
Enforcement actions may be taken in accordance with these Community Guidelines and the Terms of Service.
